Can't Un-Hear It came before Audience-Coloring Adaptation, and iirc it used to have a stricter definition (it had to be specifically about characters in silent works being given voices in audiovisual adaptations). it's drifted over time, and with ACA being its supertrope now, i agree it seems a bit too common and redundant now

Actually, I think Audience-Coloring Adaptation came first—it just got renamed in TRS.

oh, huh, i hadn't seen that trope before it was renamed. i guess it was a successful TRS then. either way, i still think merging Can't Un-Hear It into it would be the best way to go.

Cant Unhear It is defined as "A character's voice as heard in an adaptation (Usually in a visual medium) becomes so iconic that it becomes the voice people associate with the character". Is this something worth noting? Literally any voice could become this for someone. This seems like an unnecessary subtrope of Audience-Coloring Adaptation.
