Were you on the same device? “Save post” doesn’t work between devices.
It also doesn't save between threads.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I was on the same device and the same thread. But I recently tried it again and it worked, so I don't know what went wrong.
I put this in Bugs this morning; I'm experiencing the same thing.
I've also started to experience it on my phone. I can't check my PC for a few days to see if it's across devices.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Note that when I use the standard back and forward controls in my desktop browser, the text of drafts remains in the window, even without using the Save Draft button.
I just did use that button, though, and it worked.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Seems like it works sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. Maybe it's the amount of text being saved and/or the web browser being used?
I clicked the "Saved Draft" button after writing a forum post, and when I clicked the "Add Post" button — which prior responses to this line of questioning indicate should load the draft in — all that appeared was a blank edit box, with no trace of the draft I'd supposedly saved. I'm confused and rather disappointed since I spent a long time composing that forum post. What went wrong here and is there a way for me to get the draft I was working on back?
