Your favorite new trope, YMMV, and Trivia launches

Kinda impressed that two of my tropes have been mentioned on this thread! Interesting that they both had to do with pigs.

It was a few months ago at this point, but Innocent Awkward Question is one of my favorite newer tropes and I'm glad it finally got around to being launched after floating around in TLP for around a decade.

I like Fiendish Fraternity, which launched recently. It's definitely a trope I've seen (and is sadly accurate to real life), so I'm glad we now document it.

I also like Hellish L.A. because it can make for good horror and good comedy.

I think my favorite newly launched trope is by far Painted CGI, from March. It takes a concept that had already been somewhat discussed (hybridism between 3D and 2D animation, such as animating on twos, covering CGI models with hand-drawn outlines and effects, using more distinguishable designs by attempting to keep a closer look to concept art, making textures and shading that replicate hand-drawn works like paintings and comics etc.) right in a moment it had been starting to become more relevant.

It's more recent than I thought too, it's younger than my last article Fable when I thought it was at least more than one year-old.

Soap Opera Organ Score can be a really funny trope in parodies, and it’s another trope I’m surprised we didn’t have.

As was discussed on Post your random thoughts, Mascot Horror has long needed a page so it's a good thing it just got one. While I'm not a particularly big fan of the genre, the page for it is in excellent shape, with a detailed description and (so far) well-written examples.

OH WOW I was just thinking of Mascot Horror having a page here the other day haha, nice!

Deadly Hazing is a sadly real phenomenon that I'm glad to see on TV Tropes—it's definitely a thing in fiction.

Admittedly for personal bias-related reasons, but I'm glad we have Oppressive Immigration Enforcement now, and it's definitely a thing that I feel like I've seen in fiction.

Mascot Horror was a long time coming indeed.

OK File Photo Gag is a really funny gag whenever it's done. to that new trope.

I'm glad that File Photo Gag was launched too! Though I may be a little biased since I suggested the image for that one

Continue Countdown is such a great launch, shocked we didn't have it... As a watcher of Whoisthisgit, I find the creepy scenarios used for them fascinating.

Hey I used to watch whoisthisgit! Agreed that it’s an interesting trope.

I still watch him to this day, actually! And yeah, the making of that trope was a long time coming.

Excited that Trojan Veggies was finally launched yesterday. I'm kinda surprised that we didn't already have that one.

Technically launched a month ago, but I'm glad we have Soft Rock now—not having it as a music genre page was a pretty big omission.
