Pages Needing Wiki Magic criteria/problems

Already answered above.

I plan on going for a deep look (maybe some really do need everything and are stubs) but if it doesn't sound like anything I'd remove those.

Was looking through Visual Novels, Milky Season is really bad?

Other pages by the troper are so bad I may as well ATT it.

~justinmcmahan198849, in case you're missing this. We're trying to empty Sandbox.Pages Needing Wiki Magic as soon as possible by moving everything to other indexes when possible.

• If something needs multiple things, do not add it to Sandbox.Pages Needing Wiki Magic. You add these to Works Needing Tropes, Pages Needing Wicks, Pages Needing A Better Description etc respectively. Only leave entries that really don't fit anywhere and require discussion.
• A page lacking an image, subpages, characters is none of our concern.
• "Needs everything / more magic / more help" is as abstract as unhelpful. If they have a problem, then it's expected to spell out what kind.

What are we to do with the Creator/ pages on Administrivia.Works Needing Tropes? To me, tropifying a creator just isn't as important, not to mention how it sticks out in a page called Works Needing Tropes.

Creators technically don't need tropes so we might not need the list at all.

Creators keep getting added, so I'm going to need a definitive answer before acting on it.

Is it fine to request to remove redlinks and update links (say, from Light Novel to Literature) on Administrivia.Pages Needing Wiki Magic via the Locked Pages thread?

If the pages have been moved, then yeah, the links should be updated. And if a page was cut for being a stub then yeah, it can be removed from there. Yes, the locked pages thread is the place to request these changes.

Pages Needing A Better Description starts with "You've just launched a page, ... , but you can't think of a good description. Alternatively, maybe you have simply come upon a page with a description that is insufficient"

It contradicts our current idea that if a troper launches a page, it's up to them to bring it to the state that doesn't require Needing, description included, does it not?

Yeah, I'd say that the "you can't add pages you created" rule should apply to Pages Needing A Better Description.

I support it because creators don't need tropes but I think I said that already. I don't think anyone else has said their opinion on it but it's been brought up multiple times. Is it worth crownering?

Unless more people pitch in today, probably, just to get this out of the way.

With the Overly Long tag kicking in, my opinion on removing Creator pages from the Needs Trope page is not only yes, but hell yes. Like I said before, it's not as important to tropify them.

EDIT: There may come a time where a split may still be necessary, especially if someone decides to do a thorough look through namespace pages for the most common media types (esp. film and video games). Who knows how much one could find combing through.

Actually, found out that How to Create a Work Page says "Creators do not have a minimum trope requirement", so we probably don't even need to vote.

Would also like to know what to do about character pages, since they are not work pages, but nonetheless serve as character-specific trope pages.

Character have the recommended requirement "at least one", so I'd be for unlisting them as well.

I am good with removing character and creator pages.

Please explain. They're contributing to the overly long page tag and troping Creator pages, while it can be done, just isn't as important as doing so for works.
