Theres less than 48 hours left! I didnt get to attack every bookmark i had ;-;.... Did you guys get to attack all your bookmarks?

I only made 2 pieces and settled for that lmao

This wasn't an opportune time because my finals are in early August.

Given I have like 200 pages of bookmarks I obviously didn't get to attack 'em all... but that's alright!

I'm hoping to get to at least 80 attacks this year (I did 76 last year). I've been having a really good time this year and I'm already pretty excited for next time!

It sucks that the characters and users don't have a proper search engine yet. So far, only tags could be searched. I wish they'd improve that.

The thing is though, you have to donate a certain amount of money to access it. It's a way of regulating the strain on the site, and adding another incentive to donate to it to help keep it running.

I got four attacks done this year, which is more art than I'd done in my entire life up til now so I'm calling it a win.

Hopefully next year I won't spend the first half of it completely wiped out for no apparent reason. Then I can win even harder (have more fun doing more fun draws)

Just completed my final attack for the year. Ended up doing 82 this year - which was pretty impressive for me!

I hope everyone had a good time this year, already looking forward to next time!

I finished the year off with 106 attacks and I got 45 defenses (50 if you count Mass Attacks).

Pretty solid year for me! Definetly went beyond my inital goal lol (40 attacks to be exact; I only wanted to do more attacks than last year [20], ideally by double; I reached that goal not even halfway through) Now, I'll be taking a short art break.

(Also ArtFight got new management and they have a whole year to find new staff + possibility of staff that quit deciding to return, so it'll be fine in the end).

New management, would that be a good thing or a bad thing?

By the looks of it, a good thing hopefully.

I made it to 54 attacks this year. I do feel like I've done a good job, especially since it's the first time I've drawn this many finished pieces, and I'm even very proud of quite a few of my attacks. I'd definitely like to do this again next year.

I'm looking forward to participating next year too! I did 33 attacks this year; that's a pretty big number compared to last year's 14!

I only did 7 because of the massive gap between the start and end of the month when I wasn't that active, along with my laziness.

Mm. Next time, I'll actually get off my ass. Don't need no hitlist next year, my bookmarks already got me covered.

What are your goals for next Artfight? Mine is emptying or at least reducing my bookmarks by actually drawing the characters.

Once my semester break comes in a week, I'm interested in digitising my current references (2 which I drew until 2 am twice to get done lol) and posting more characters.

Clearing my bookmarks would be nice, but in the least, drawing more than I did previously is a win for me.

My goals for next Artfight are making atleast one drawing with a full background and one mass attack that uses this Sims 2 render as a reference

My goal for next year is to do someone's "Design an OC" attack. Maybe multiple of those.

Fully saying that in a year's time I fully want to have one of my characters in that attack.

Will we keep this thread for next year's Artfight? Or will we make a new one?

Would make sense to keep the thread. Even though the event is over for now, there may still be discussion to be had in the off-season, and the general rule here has been to prefer reviving old threads over making new ones.

Werewolf was the team with the lead up until the points were hidden, though the past two years have had the team that was lower before the points being hidden winning so who knows.

I hope Werewolf wins tho
