So this is the kind of speed dueling that we saw in Duel Links but with altered rules.

Yes and no. Rush Duels is more like a western take or Evolution of Speed dueling, with a lot more of a market push to boot. While Duel Links stays very close to the OCG/TCG, Rush Duels have a lot of things simplified and streamlined. For instance: there are no archtypes in rush duels. No banish effects, no GY effects, Nothing outside of what is printed on each card to wrap your mind around.
Rush Duels doesn't have Skill Cards either. Speed Duels are much more similar to Duel Links, but it doesn't have an actual banlist or an alternate variation like Duel Links. Rush Duels also have Legends(which is kind of a banlist) and a hard "every card name can only use its effect(s) once per turn". I don't remember if any have multiple effects they can do in a single turn, but it's a nice change of page to remove any kind of loop. RD also has infinite normal summons. Lastly, RD has unique Fusions in which they can be a new type that's effectively a combination of both. Other than random support, they aren't notable. But hey, Cyborg type? That said, it also introduced an all new type called Galaxy.
Speed Duels at most might have stuff like Speed Spells or Speed World incorporated, but for the most part, it plays like the regular game, just like Duel Links does. The Skill cards can sometimes actually be kind of neat, as they remake the anime effects(like Bonz' spell version of Call of the Haunted, to a degree). I think it's the same in Duel Links more or less(maybe not the same introduced skills, but same point behind them).
So what kind of do you run/would be interested in running? So far my main go tos are Pyro, Reptile, and Earth Machine deck. I've been wanting to learn how to play Insects but im unsure what their gameplan is.
I don't have access to it as I live in the TCG regions.
Is the video game version out? I think I'd try out some Warrior stuff. I definitely want to use Vishwar Randi. Hopefully Succubus Knight releases. I don't think any Rituals will, but I could see some being Legends by design. That or remade into Legends? Like there's no denying that some are really good stats for what they are. Besides Garma Sword, and 2550/2050 Level 7 Dark/Warrior is pretty strong(and the strongest non-effect Level 7 Ritual too).
I'm not sure what Legend I'd even run. Trap Hole? Pot of Greed? Mirror Force? Upstart Goblin(with the other card that supports it). Now if Avatar of the Pot was in the game, Pot of Greed would be more useful. Pot of Avarice is probably going to see tons of play, though.
The video game did get a worldwide release and is out, but unfortunately has not received any of the content updates the Japanese version has gotten so far.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.I mostly play it on simulators, like EDO Pro, for my rush duel needs. If anyone wants to learn the ropes or help test stuff, dm me sometime to help set up a few rounds.
Aqua monsters seem to be getting a lot of limelight recently, Here's a Retrain of Lady of Faith
EDIT: A classic monster from the dm era comes to assist zombies

Another "Dian Keto"?
Now I kinda wanna see a counterpart of some sort for the "Ruin" Ritual Monsters.
(Though I don't think Ritual Monsters exist in Rush Duels?)
"Dian Keto" has 4 alternate versions in rush duels, all in her younger age. Shes been a dancer, a police warden, a cooking chef, and now a small girl.
Also rituals dont exist yet. Only effect, normal, fusion, and Maxim monsters. That being said, rush is no stranger to adding a new spin on familiar faces. They turned Utopia in rush into a Fire Warrior themed Baseball deck

Sounds good. I love how this has a lot of classic style cards, as well as a much more simplified game.
One day they revealed 5 structure decks at once it was ridiculous. Also Aqua support continues to pour down from the heavens. Unfortunaley my shift has started before i could compile everything so I will have to update later tonight.
No problem.
So far, has any normal monsters and their normal counterparts shown up? I.E. Twin Long Rods 1 and Twin Long Rods 2(...I think that one did, incidentally). If so, I wonder how many.
Okay SO
Apparently my ADHD got the better of me
And I am now SEVERAL months behind on updates. Sorry about that. I will begin updating this post with the cards up to now.

Well, don't rush, take your time.
Some of them Rush Duel cards have crazy effects though and I can't stop laughing at some
Yeah there's well over 14 pages to sift through, and i fell asleep halway. But hey, since you posted, I can break up the pages to not add clutter, yay~

Rush duels is getting an overhaul on how Legend cards work.
As opposed of having 1 of any LEGEND card in a deck, you may have 1 of each card type (monster, spell, trap) in your deck from January 2023 on. In addition, a LEGEND pack had been announced in march, promising a whole heap of new LEGEND cards to strategize with.
And I will also use this page to catch up with more card reveals ive missed, since recent events have shown off some exciting stuff.

Well, the Executies look cute. Though just Level 6 and under 2000 ATK and under 1000 DEF.
I guess they don't like Level 7+ though.
Yeah, kinda odd seeing 1800 ATK Level 6 as a boss card.
Especially when Executie Up! has an effect that suggest using Level 7+ monster.....

I doubt we're going to be getting both out at the same time however, considering that the Fusion card in Rush requires the materials to be on the field.
They defenitely look powerful! I skimmed through a bit of them but I legit froze when one of the fusions basically locked the opponent out of any spells besides fusing themselves. That just seems MEAN.
With Vrains coming to a close, Konami announced a big surprise to the entire Yugioh Dueling community: Not only was the new anime not going to feature the traditional TCG format (and therefore, not introduce a new summoning mechanic, a trend thats been followed for over a decade), but an entirely new Format was coming instead. Introducing Rush Duels, a format simillar to Speed Duels but has many of its own unique rules. For one, there is 0 limit on Normal Summons; you can NS to your heart's content. There is also no Main Phase 2, so after your Battle Phase, your turn ends. You also are required to draw until you have 5 cards in hand each turn, meaning bot sides need to kill quick before they Deck out. Many more differences can be found in this format, more than enough for it to warrant its own thread and discussions as new cards and strategies are revealed.
Speaking of which, Zombie support is coming in properly this time!
