Honestly, I think it's Saturn that looks weirdly out of place. He's the only one of them recognizable as what he was, even in his full monster form.
I'm not sure if there is really any overarching theme to the Elders monster forms aside from maybe being connected to disease. Though I cant really find any concrete info on Houki and Bakotsu online, so even that is more me making a guess.
x3 I know I saw a theory on reddit last year about a traitor among the five elders that positioned Ju Peter as being the traitor, so him being the odd one out in terms of forms would be funny if the theory is true
Silence is golden, noise is platinum. Keelah se'laiTempting as it to say that Jupiter is Shia-Hulud, it could also be a reference to the Mongolian death worm, which would keep to the Asian mythology theme
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyI was hoping for more diversity in Devil Fruit types from the Elders. Feel like we've kinda reached an oversaturation point with them. Would have been really cool if Oda managed to make them look like monsters but kept the Devil Fruits diverse.
Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Chapter's out, another big break ahead, but what a cliffhanger.
But oh my God, okay, this twist at the end caught me off guard.
So this suit of metallic armor, this gigantic suit of armor... is sentient. And carries the apologetic nature of Zunisha... and that inexplicable connection to Joy Boy... ladies and gentlemen, I think we've got us another really interesting new One Piece character to observe.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...Huh, this chapter gave me some respect for Lucci, since now we know he kept tabs on everything going on in the island while fighting Zoro, being able to give a report to bird-Elder and being able to still stand after a battle of attrition and 2 finishing moves,
But most of all, pleading for Kaku's life to be spared, not something I would have expected, but shows he hasn't only grown in strenght.
Well Lucci and Kaku are best friends.
I have to admit Gear 5 still manages to make me laugh. Luffy scars flying off his body and him patching them back on is just amazing.
Or adding Haki to the bat by literally painting it black.
The power really is the best for Luffy. Absolutely limitless.
Well Full Summary is out. I am glad the Elders don't play around. Also 1 min until the message goes out too? Can't wait.
So, there is a fan-translation out, but it reads a bit weirdly. and at a couple points I can't quite understand what is being said. Mostly, I wanna know, why did Edison jump?
I don't think we're supposed to know yet. It read like an Unspoken Plan Guarantee sort of thing.
All right, I guess we will have to wait to know what is going on. Thank you for answering.
One thing that stuck in my mind about this chapter was Warcury not just tanking the Red Roc, but actually hurting Luffy back with how hard his head is.
Those last 2 pages were all about how next level the Gorosei are even compared to Kaido and the Tobiroppo. Kaido was a bad dude but he couldn't explode heads with a look or produce ACoC (or something similar) by yelling.
Find the Light in the DarkAccording to the first translations, the fate of the world is to sink. That would fit with a common theory that the world once had a lot more land to it, and that perhaps, at the story's conclusion, the oceans will recede once again.
Also, Vegapunk, you tease.
And why won't Saturn just freeze everyone like he did when he first showed up? Surely no one present would be able to withstand such force. Could kill Robin easily.

Oh I was expecting Vegapunk's brain to be more exposed lol.
Grats to Sanji for kicking an Elder.
Secret SignatureThe world is threatened to sink into the ocean. The strawhats will pretty likely save the world by the end of the manga. Which means the sea level will lower. Is that what the prophecy of Luffy destroying Fishman Island will turn out to be? That the sea level will be so low that they wonΒ΄t be underwater anymore?
Who knew Sebastian was that influential?
Also you don't have to tag spoiler in this thread
I think that'll be him destroying the Red Line, which happens to be right above Fishman Island. The receding ocean will be a separate part of the same prophecy.
Also, just with how Vegapunk kicked this message around, he's already started with the first thing that The World Government, even with all of its seemingly infinite resources, couldn't HOPE to solve, were they to be a shred more virtuous than they are now: rising ocean levels. There's going to be a lot of very angry and horrified kingdoms and islands at ground level, wondering what the hell the World Government is doing, up at the Red Line. Dots are gonna start being connected.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...At first I was thinking of Wano but then I remembered that even Water 7 is slowly sinking.
You lost!Long Ring Long Land might be another example of a sinking/sunk island. Also someone on reddit mentioned that the Sandora River in Alabasta has been getting displaced by seawater more and more, which might be related.
Fishman Island is in one of the deepest parts of the sea, making it above sea level would require completely deleting the entire ocean from the planet. No way thats happening.
What seems to be going on is that Im is plannig to whipe out all opposition to the Government with the Mother Flame with no regard for colateral damage, since he sits high up on the Red Line where the rising sea would never reach.
The effects of Lulusias destruction were just felt all over the world, so that alone would be pretty solid proof for everyone.
Houki is apparently chinese folklore while bakotsu is yokai yeah
But yeah considering only one who seems weirdly out of place is the youngest looking one, maybe there is connection there
