This seems to be the work of FAIRY GODPARENTS!!
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Huh. Just hope this won't be a gritty reboot.
I mean, they did a gritty reboot of the damn Fresh Prince, so...
I'm not sure how you would get a gritty reboot vibe from the description, trailer, or the showrunner being from the campy Danger Force. If anything, this series leans closer to a silly Dan Schnieder Nick series (considering the aforementioned).

Wait, Laura Bell Bundy, like from Legally Blonde the musical? That's not who I expected to see in a fairly odd parents sitcom of all things.
You know who else I didn't expect to be involved with this live-action revival of the Fairly OddParents? Butch Hartman. Now, I get that he created the original series and that he'll only serve as an executive producer, but Hartman's become such a controversial figure over the past few years, like with the OAXIS scandal, for example, and him being responsible for the original series' decline in quality.
There are two possibilities I could see from this show: either it'll be good and end up redeeming Butch Hartman's career, or it could be like the live-action movies and be met with a mixed-to-negative reaction and tank his reputation even further. Regardless, I think Hartman's involvement with the live-action revival seems like a bit of a red flag.

There was also Bunsen is a Beast, which... Was not the best show, to put it mildly.
“Now! Let us engage in the art of deduction!”Who is that?
New theme music also a boxYou mean Mark DeCarlo, Hugh Neutron's voice actor?
Or were you talking about the actor who plays Timmy in this series? Obviously, they couldn't use Drake Bell to reprise his role from the live-action movies for various reasons, one of them being his arrest last summer.

Mark De Carlo,I assumed it was a meme twitter for some reason
New theme music also a boxWait, weren't the kids supposed to forget their fairies when they grew up? It's most likely a different continuity from those movies, but I just got myself wondering how Timmy still remembers them.
oh hey how are you doing? As I've come to understand it, Timmy gives Cosmo and Wanda to Viv knowing they will taken care of the day he does lose his memories of Cosmo and Wanda.
Was Butch the reason for the show's decline?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Honestly, I think the show simply ran out of steam like most shows eventually do, and kept going despite that.
Also, finally sat down and watched the trailer for this... and yeesh, this does not look good. Feels like a generic Nick sitcom with Cosmo and Wanda tacked onto it. Actually, it feels like you could easily replace them with anything else and not much would change.
Also, this new Timmy looks like he's about to kill me in my sleep.
Just look at that face.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonI do like the new arrangement of the theme song we hear in the trailer.
I don't think they did a very good job integrating the 2D animation with the live action characters. The "poof"s especially look... off.

I don't think that's Timmy.
“Boom! Boomboom! Boomboomboom! Bakuage Tire! Gogogo!"He has the pink cap..
New theme music also a boxI checked in the wiki. I didn't see Timmy Turner's name on the cast. It must be Timmy's other cousin I guess.

“Boom! Boomboom! Boomboomboom! Bakuage Tire! Gogogo!"The Entertainment Weekly article, which serves as a official press release, clearly states it's Timmy. That has more grounds than a wiki (?) not saying it (for some reason).
Whoops, my bad.
“Boom! Boomboom! Boomboomboom! Bakuage Tire! Gogogo!"TBH, I think he just looks creepy because it's a bad frame to pull from. These images are clearly pulled from episode footage and... I mean, have you ever paused a movie at the wrong time?
Shit can get weird.
Not saying that some how makes the show good or anything. I just kinda think I've seen arguments that shit on the actor when... it's probably just a bad picture?
As the series' premiere inches closer, we have a new clip from the debut episode featuring Timmy making the baton pass (with a laugh track):
Well... there are animation errors, which is nice I guess.

Premiering on March 31, Entertainment Weekly has just revealed the live-action Sequel Series to the original Butch Hartman cartoon, with casting and a trailer.
Fairly Odd Parents aired on Nickelodeon from 2001-2017 with a story about 10-year-old Timmy, who goes on magical adventures with his goofball fairy godparents, Wanda and Cosmo. In the Fairly Odder sequel series, which takes plays years after the original ended, Timmy entrusts his 13-year-old cousin Viv Turner (Audrey Grace Marshall) with his fairies.
Original Wanda and Cosmo voice actors Susanne Blakeslee and Daran Norris return to the characters, which are rendered in Fairly Odder through animation inspired by the first show.
The premise of the series focuses on Viv as she moves to the town of Dimmsdale when her dad, Ty (Ryan-James Hatanaka), decides to reunite with his high school sweetheart, Rachel Raskin (Laura Bell Bundy). Rachel's son, Roy (Tyler Wladis), sees Timmy bestowing his fairy godparents on Viv as she deals with the change in her life, and now the two kids agree to take turns making wishes.
"I want you to meet the two best things that've ever happened to me," says Timmy in the trailer.
Imogen Cohen will also appear Viv and Roy's friend, Zina Zacarias, while another familiar character from Fairly Odd Parents appears in the footage: Jorgen Von Strangle, the fairy commander from Fairy World who enforces "Da Rules!"
All 13 episodes of Fairly Odd Parents: Fairly Odder will be available to stream on Paramount+ Thursday, March 31 in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Nordics, and Latin America, EW can confirm. Christopher J. Nowak (Danger Force) serves as showrunner.
