Episode 9: Oh neat Griffin has found out that AR-15 is fishy. Wonder what she’s hiding... oh wait she escaped.
Poor Franklin gets no respect. The woes of tech support. I’ll toast to you Franklin.
Oh wow they actually discuss why Dolls have emotions instead of being pure Terminators.
The SF Ringleaders continue to be pushovers. Destroyer seriously just ran outside into open space. And when the team were reeling from the news of AR-15’s escape she didn’t take advantage of their lapse. Face, meet palm.
Some people predicted that AR 15's gonna have a big role in the anime.
Turns out they're right.
Page'll have to be updated with ANN releasing the VA names for the other characters.
I sure love seeing sad robots having an existential crisis.
AR-15's scene hits surprisingly hard. I think it has the best cinematography so far.
Pick up your weapon, even if you hesitate, you cannot give up. Hold on to your ideals, even if you struggle, you cannot waver. That was nice.
So basically AR-15 was infected with something that made her leak intel to SF? Hmm.
Surprised that Gentiane wasn’t aware of how important the AR squad was, especially since their special status is easily inferable.

Episode 11: Okay so like SOP-II, I don’t know what’s going on. And I don’t really… care?
Negev Unit was alright, though.
And that's that, I guess. Shame they didn't adapt this CG◊.
Overall, it wasn't too bad, I guess? Despite all the janky animation, it keeps the intrigue and existentialist aspects that makes GFL interesting. I feel like they could trim the "Ringleader of the Week" episodes and still convey plot points well enough. Here's hoping for a Season 2 so we can have more RO635.
Pick up your weapon, even if you hesitate, you cannot give up. Hold on to your ideals, even if you struggle, you cannot waver.I've only used this adaptation as my exposure to the Girls' Frontline franchise and seeing Negev's original outfit that I've heard was Adapted Out because of the Stars of David, I must ask: would keeping at least one Star of David still have been an outrage had the animation team opted for Negev's original outfit? I mean, this Tactical Doll's namesake is an Israeli-built machine gun so couldn't the blue Star of David at the least been kept to remind viewers that the Negev is an Israeli-built machine gun?
The existentialist musings are interesting but overall I feel that this anime was merely passable. The Sangvis Ferri are a joke, the story is more about being obtuse than properly setting up the mysteries, and the action is so basic it actively hurts the immersion of the viewer.
I have mixed feelings about the anime. While I'm glad to see the characters in anime format, I'm kinda disappointed that they didn't use music from the game, use more of the action scenes from the manga and got the guns right.
Compare to the anime P Vs for the game.
Or this one that happens later in the game. :Be warned of spoilers:!
Shame it it'll end at 12 episodes.
The OP has damn foreshadowing with M16.
Man, Kamolov's a funny guy.
