I'll be the one brave enough to say it: Omniverse Ben is the best version. He's done the hero stuff so many times that he doesnt even consider Vilgax to be on his priority list, and while he his confidence come with a bit of arrogance, he is a lot more Genre Savvy and can use his aliens a lot better than his kid counterpart could.

Regarding Dexter's Lab: They have the Justice Friends as playable so Multiversus can have the Avengers without having to pay for the Avengers!

The lead writer for dialogue for the game says that there's 20,000 unique lines of dialogue in the game, not including non-fighter lines.

Makes me kind of wonder just how many characters we can expect to see later with that much fighter dialogue.

That is definitely a lot more dialogue than a fighting game normally has. And the fact that they mention NPC's also has me intrigued. Could be referring to announcer packs, but I do wonder if newly added assist characters will also get voice lines. Maybe this could even be hinting at the previously leaked story mode...

If anything, this probably means that Kevin Conroy recorded way ahead before he passed, so the issue of "who voices Batman for new lines" probably won't need to be dealt with for quite awhile.

That is true, Conroy and Hamill probably did do a TON of lines during production. It does make me wonder what the dialogue-to-character ratio is though, because that's a big number even for just the 23 we currently know of.

It's Beetlejuice, who we knew for a while. Is that implying he's the beetlejuice voice?

Eric Bauza is like stupid versatile, yeah. The TV Tropes page alone shows a huge amount of range the man's got.

The Game of Thrones wiki (now calling itself The Wiki of Westeros) is extremely weird for a fan wiki. It is entirely and singularly dedicated to the HBO series with additional background from the books, and even then it's bizarre how it carries itself. Like I've never seen a wiki for a property like GoT completely opt out of a "Powers & Abilities" section before. This is a swords and sorcery franchise where the wiki chooses not to tell you what each character is capable of or even what their main weapons are. It's wild.

Luckily, there's an A Song of Ice and Fire wiki that unlike most wikis isn't saddled with the awful Fandom templates.

It appears the Colorado Avalanche vs Vegas Golden Knights hockey game on April 14th is going to be a cross-promotion with MVS.

It would be pretty wild if they added a Hockey mode

New blog post on the official website about the game’s new netcode system.

If I’m reading correctly it sounds like they pretty much had to make their own netcode system in order to address all the feedback about the netcode hiccups they received during the open beta.

Maybe this might rile people up: A TikTok trailer that released today includes footage of new cel-shaded skins and Velma in the Dexter's Lab stage.

It appears that it has conveyor belts and Dee Dee appears in the background intermittently.

The new cel-shading does give the characters a more cartoony vibe for sure. I just hope we can get another full trailer soon, we only got a month and a half before the full launch.

Speaking of which, the hockey game casually revealed that you can now parry in the game.

Sorta hope they more explicitly reveal this soon because I feel like a lot of people who aren't into hockey might miss the introduction of parrying.

Oh shit, that could actually lead to some cool mix-ups, depending on how much the characters have changed. I know Iron Giant definitely needs the extra help considering how much of a sitting duck he became.

Yeah I really don't get either. They added a universal parry and they bury the reveal in this hockey thing? Why???

It's frustrating how good this game was and how much it's potentially improved in the time it's been offline and yet the marketing is almost actively fighting against it. I have no idea why they're having so much trouble just announcing shit normally. This ain't rocket science here.
