So, uhh... we thought this would officially be revealed at TGA... guess we were wrong.

So, yeah, the leaked roster is (mostly) here, plus Garnet and Arya Stark... and voice acting! Including Kevin Conroy!

Interesting thing to note, one of the first leaks mentioned Johnny Bravo, Mad Max and Fred Flinstone, while the screenshot leaks had Teen Steven from SU Future, Rick Sanchez and Gandalf. Makes me wonder how big the roster is going to be at launch...

This game looks pretty damn neat, and the alt costumes are nice too.

Well, at least all the characters get to actually talk. That's a plus over the competition.

Framerate looked rough but presentation wise looks great. Much better than NASB in some regards

Ultra Instinct Shaggy is real

Shaggy being the shotoclone is both fitting and funny.

First Nickelodeon and now WB? Really hope this game does good so that Sony finally convinced to revive PSASBR.

And honestly, wouldn't surprise me this game doing good. Looks great, has voice acting, and isn't afraid to give their audience what they want (looking at you UI Shaggy )

The Nothing... isn't that from The Neverending Story? Is Reindog the same species as Falkor?

Was wondering that too. The movie was distributed by WB, so it's certainly possible.

Game has lore? Lol and it seems to have some effort put into it.

So the bio for Shaggy says that he touched a crystal and he is now super saiyan. Eh, could have been worse

One thing I'm not looking forward to is character inclusion discussions. With this game having access to several different I Ps, the number of potential choices could be over a hundred. It could get very heated...

Well, it looks like first impressions are mostly good. Remarkable, because I recall people tuning out from the leaks. I guess it's because they thought it was mobile-only whereas here it's coming to mobile and game consoles. Nice call.

I do like the art direction and the roster is pretty good so far, so it has part of my attention. But if this game ends up including Brock Samson (or Gumball at least), then it's has all my attention.

(Incidentally, if "The Nothing" from The NeverEnding Story wasn't already brought up, I would've thought there might be synergy with this and the Pibby project from [adult swim]. But then, that might not be the case anyway because of how graphic the latter is looking.)

One of their selling points is authenticity, but they’ve based Shaggy’s moveset off the memes and not the source material, and they’ve turned Anya Stark into a cartoon character. That does not give me the greatest of hope.

And that original character isn’t a good sign either. Trying to give lore to the crossover universe didn’t work out for Heroes Of The Storm, and the fact that he’s basically a off brand Care Bear means all of the more mature franchises are going to be brought down to his level. That’s bad news for Rick and Morty fans if the rumours are true and he does get in: it’s one thing to remove violence and gore, but if they make a Rick that doesn’t swear, it’s going to feel off-brand as hell.

Speaking of rumours, if they seriously put in a Space Jam character, then this game is basically as much as an advertisement as the new Space Jam. Anya at least has the excuse of having some really good seasons before the ending ruined everything, but trying to pretend people liked the new Space Jam is just tone deaf on a corporate executive level.

"Warner Media Platform Fighter" might as well just be the title. Really not a fan of "the intellectual properties our megacorp owns" fighter.

I think you underestimate just how much people want Ultra Instinct Shaggy.

I mean, if the game ends up with a T or E10+ rating, then Rick can still swear. Or if an E rating is an absolute must, then they could have Rick burp or something in place of expletives. (Unless he's grown out of burping by now?)

What would a space jam character be? Le Bron James? At best, bugs would have a basketball outfit from one of the movies, that's the only way that movie can be represented.

I mean, I'm expecting a T rating, but either the characters aimed at adult audiences or those aimed at kids are going to have to be altered for the whole thing to not feel hodgepodge. And I'd rather it not be the characters aimed at kids.

The official website states its rated T. It also currently doesn't mention any mobile platforms.

The gameplay seems slow. Hopefully there will be modes other than two-on-two battles as well. I know it's just the reveal trailer, but this looks like it could be decent and I hope they can follow through :x

The website does mention 1-on-1 and free-for-all options.
