So, apparently Fanfic/HellsLoud displays as Hell's Loud. I... don't think that custom displays are supposed to be that drastic? Apparently the work's title was changed at some point, but shouldn't this have been a redirect?
Also, the two titles display separately on tropes' Related tabs, so if you go to, say, Actor Allusion and check what works link to it, "Hells Loud" and "A Loud Among Demons" are displayed separately.
I created a new sandbox, Pages Incorrectly "Moved" by Custom Title, to cover this sort of situation. Feel free to add it to the list.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.edit: wrong thread, sorry

I think that tropes like So Bad, It's Good, Baby's First Words, and Yank the Dog's Chain should have apostrophes, since they'd look wrong without them.
For every low there is a high.I feel like titles get fixes as soon as they're brought up and show up differently as wikiword.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupAll three of those have had their custom titles for quite a while. Were they not showing up on your end?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.~Masterof Galaxies 4628 has submitted "If I Had a Nickel..." for IfIHadANickel. Opinions?
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Probably easier to pothole without the ellipses but not egregiously bad to me.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. They were showing up. I was just arguing against a ban on punctuation in titles.
For every low there is a high. The ban is about ending punctuation and things like ellipses, not all punctuation period, otherwise what's even the point of custom titles
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure Pureness~Tropers/Silverlady, the custom title isn't to be used to move a page like Beauty And The Beast Of Lost Paradise.
Please check out the sandbox linked in this post.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Hey, y'all. I just added a work page for the card game Bang!.
The game rules and other publisher references consistently refer to the game as BANG! (uppercase with an exclamation point at the end). Some online resources refer to the game as Bang! (capitalized with an exclamation point).
I could go either way on the capitalization, but it seems that the exclamation point is part of the name, and should be reflected in the work page title.
Anyway, is this the best place to ask for this update? Or should I go to the thread for capitalization fixes?
Thanks.
You want a custom title for the page. See How to Make a Custom Title
And from the looks of things, it should be "Bang!".
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Should Adorably Precocious Child be showing up as "Adorably-Precocious Child"? Why is there a dash?
Creepypasta cleanup got two major pages for JTK and SlenderThat's overzealous hyphenation. Adverb-adjective pairs do not require hyphens.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Just submitted a wikiword title request to remove the hyphen then.
Creepypasta cleanup got two major pages for JTK and Slender...Come to think of it, what separates this thread from the other custom title cleanup thread by this point?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Oh, is it this one? I only just thought of looking for a cleanup thread, this thread was in my Followed for a while now.
Creepypasta cleanup got two major pages for JTK and SlenderThis didn't start as a cleanup thread, it was more of a "should we ban this" thread.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. It happens a lot with Wiki Talk threads. My thread about the disambiguation policy became a cleanup thread too, even though we probably already had one?
We can probably close this one.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThis was a spin off thread to discuss the trope naming convention as a whole, but it seems it gradually degraded back into questioning individual pages.

Agreed; declined.
