This thread is best suited for Wiki Talk, but I'll answer now that I'm here.
If the draft is guaranteed to have at least 24 wicks upon becoming a trope article, the name isn't contested and there's no ongoing debate about it, the description is clear and no parts of it are being dabated, the amount of net hats is high (the minimum is 5 more hats than bombs, but the more it has and the fewer bombs in comparison, the better), and optionally has a good image and/or a good quote and neither has been contested, then you have two options:
- If you're confident that the draft is in good shape and meets all conditions I listed, then announce a launch date with at least 24 hours in advance. I usually go for somewhere between a 48-hour notice and 1-week, but thst's just me.
- If you're not confident and/or one or more conditions have yet to be satisfied, use a bump. If there's no feedback on sight, go to the TLP workstation thread and post there about the draft to hook tropers' attention.
I hope this helps.

135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I usually go hunting for more examples, myself.
Agreed with all the above, but periodic bumping has also worked for me (after I've tried everything in my power to make the draft nice, including example hunting). I let things sit a few weeks then bump it in the hopes of catching users who weren't in TLP a few weeks ago.

You only need 12 wicks to launch a trope. A trope only need to have 24 wicks a year after it's launch.
Hi! I have a different but related issue.
This TLP, originally named "Bantering Buddie Buddies", was about to be launched when someone brought up concerns with the name. A handful of alternate names were suggested, and we started a title Crowner; however, there are almost no votes in the Crowner and it's unconclusive. What should I do?
12 examples means 12 works right? If a single work contains multiple examples, that only counts as one?
Yeah, it won't help if you only have, like, 3 works that just so happen to have a lot of examples.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness
So if your TLP draft doesn't have any activity for a while and there's not enough examples to lauch (although there's enough hats), is it appropriate to just keep bumping them in hopes that someone will add a new example?
