The trope launcher's idea, if I understand correctly, was to make a Self-Demonstrating Article.
I don't get it. To me, self-demonstrating articles are for things like Funetik Aksent or All Blue Entry: tropes that fall within the scope of text effects used for specific purposes. Writing a short story in place of an article doesn't make it self-demonstrating: it just makes it overly florid, and will have a negative impact on the users who 1) were simply confused by the unusual format, or 2) didn't enjoy the writing.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSo should I go ahead and rewrite it?
I feel iffy about rewriting it without more discussion. The Projects Long Term/Perpetual forum has a Trope Description Improvement Drive thread; bring it up there.

Ok, it looks like someone has already taken care of it over there.
The trope starts with this decent short story, but I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be there. It's good enough that I don't want to just delete it. Do we have a place for stuff like this?
