The era of heroes has changed.

The group that has formed in the Saint Schools has gone their separate ways. Several tough battles, with massive hate groups, interdimensional Nazi armies, activists angry with the state of the world, their own twisted future selves and a battle to stop the most competent crooked politician known, everyone has decided to move on. Some retired, some continued somewhere else, started travelling...

Now, a group that accompanied Mason Bridges, chaotic scientist extraordinaire, new and old faces have taken a not-so-willing trip through the multiverse, finding new friends, enemies and adventure.

May God have mercy on their souls.

Dammit, Mason.

(Thanks to [[Troper/Blueace]] for writing this intro!)

Welcome to My Super Dimensional Road Trip! This is a sandbox-based Superhero RP that serves as a midquel for My Superhero World and My Suburban Heroic Fantasy, while also potentially being linked to some of My Superhero Saga's spinoffs due to the nature of the story. While past experience is preferable, newcomers are welcome to join in as unwitting stowaways that join in on the adventure due to quantum entanglement. As usual, heroes can range from humans with powers (and any other features that come with them); non-powered humans that rely on technology, mystical artifacts, and/or extensive training; or members of non-human races (Beastfolk, aliens, vampires, etc.).

CHARACTER CREATION SHEET

1.) Real Name:

2.) Superhero Name:

3.) Age:

4.) Appearance: A costume is prefered, though not a requirement.

5.) Personality:

6.) Powers: Self-explanatory. That said, try and keep your character from being too overpowered. Anyone with Superman level abilities is a no-no. This also includes time-travel abilities. Healing abilities are allowed, but can only be used after a fight for the sake of balance. Teleporting abilities are also frowned upon, though you can still have them. Just try and have some sort of limitation to keep them from being too OP.

7.) Gear: Also self-explanatory. This can include various equipment or whatnot that gives you your powers as well just any weapons or gadgets you have to assist you, like a Batarang or grappling hook. Both tech heroes and Badass Normals will want to make use of this.

8.) Backstory:

9.) Miscellaneous: Anything you can think of that doesn't fit into any of the other categories.

Player characters are limited to one character, unless under special circumstances (I.e. A duo that relies on each other for their powers to function a la the Wonder Twins).

Accepted Players:

The Light That Blinds
#2: Feb 9th 2021 at 5:48:00 AM

  • Real Name: Skye Rothach
  • Superhero Name: Prometheus
  • Age: 16
  • Appearance: Fair skin, fluffy auburn hair, and blue eyes so pale they're almost colorless. Skye is short—standing at only 5'3—and has a rather chubby build. He usually wears a simple gray shirt, black pants, and brown boots.
  • Personality: Skye has precognition, and he's been through a lot. As such, very little scares him anymore. He snarks in the face of danger, out of the face of danger, and in general is a sardonic, rather cynical person. He does his best to be polite, and he has a good heart underneath his prickliness—it's just that getting kidnapped all the time has made him rather bitter. note
  • Powers: Precognition. It goes like this: Skye asks a question about the future. His power shows him a variety of possible futures, all related to whatever question he asked. However, he can only see a week ahead, he isn't shown what to do to get the future he wants, and using his power too long causes him immense pain.
  • Gear: Skye's started carrying around a taser, in hopes of deterring any wannabe kidnappers (or at least make life harder for them).
  • Backstory: In an alternate timeline, Skye was born with precognitive powers. Also in that alternate timeline, his parents died when he was four, and he spent nine years bouncing around the country in foster homes before ending up with a vigilante who trained him in the art of defeating supervillains. And one fateful day, Skye foresaw that he would apply to Saint Academy. So he did that.
    • During his time there, he had many adventures, including getting kidnapped, getting shot with a thousand tranquilizer darts (thanks Mikael), getting kidnapped, suffering fridge-related trauma (don't ask), getting kidnapped, shitposting on social media with friends, and getting kidnapped. Skye's not sure, but he feels like something changed about the world, something that's driven all the supervillains away and changed things to be more light-hearted. He's certainly not complaining, though.

"Kept me waiting, haven’t you? Tch. No matter. Dawdle all you’d like. In the end, your defeat remains inevitable."

  • Real Name: Lucy Melanie Livingston
  • Superhero Name: Inkwell
  • Age: 23
  • Appearance: 5'8" in height. Slim, yet muscular and well-developed build typical for a superhero her age due to her time spent training and working. Stony grey eyes, often saddened in appearance yet retaining a clear spark of kindness and determination. Overall quiet and serene in demeanour, rarely raising her voice but having a notably unnerving death glare to her name. Usually clad in simple jeans, sneakers, and a (seemingly) black t-shirt in her civilian attire. Her superhero costume is a flexible black armour; relatively skintight for the sake of manoeuvrability yet about as bulletproof as a typical flak jacket. The costume also comes with a long black cape for the sake of warmth and disguising her outline, as well as a sleek metal utility belt. The only thing not coloured pitch black is the stark white peace symbol emblazoned on her chestpiece; which as one would expect, contains the thickest layering of armour.
  • Personality: Having been emotionally unstable and shy in her youth, Lucy in her adulthood has now become somewhat accepting of her experiences, if not traumatized and depressed because of them—oftentimes dismal in mood yet clinging onto her life as a superhero for the sense of joy and satisfaction she still feels from helping others. Though seeming lost and distant most of the time, Lucy has a rock-hard determination to save lives and prevent injustice, even to the point of becoming frightening in her behaviour—coldly combatting her opponents with no regard to their survival if the situation is desperate enough. Ultimately though, Lucy is pacifistic and tries her hardest to avoid conflict where possible—as much as this is due to her own morals, she also fears her own brutality and refusal to surrender whenever she's pushed to the brink. Even though her optimism is at best wavering, Lucy still has her sillier, relaxed side that more often shows itself whenever she can forget the responsibilities on her head, and even develops a snarky manner and teasing dry wit with those she's close to. Ultimately, Lucy has had a difficult time adapting to her adult life, but even with the hang-ups she's carried over from her youth, she's determined to keep going even if it's only for the sake of other people.
  • Powers:
    • Melanokinesis: The psychic ability to manipulate ink. Though usually limited to her own ink, Lucy can also assimilate foreign inks into her control through physical contact with it; though depending on its composition it could take from half a minute to ten minutes at a time to complete this process. Regardless, Lucy's adeptness with her powers are even greater in her adult life; able to form detailed solid constructs such as weapons or shields, or even her so-called ‘ink dolls’ which are borderline imperceptible from the real person she models them after (though she can only create three at a time due to her reserves). Most typically, Lucy relies on creating simple but versatile tendrils that she can use either to attack or pick things up from a distance—these tendrils have become her motif, and she has used them so often that she has even become fast enough to outright catch small arms fire from even a close range. However, her control is directly tied to the state of her brain—if she's under emotional duress, suffers physical trauma to her skull, or is in the vicinity of/wearing some kind of psychic suppressant, then her ink will become notably more painful and sluggish for her to use; if not downright unresponsive to her thoughts.
    • Melanogenesis: The biological power to generate ink. Lucy has retained this bizarre power from her youth, which involves the ability to secrete her own organic ink from the pores in her skin in order to give herself more for her powers to manipulate. Though the exact process isn't known, her organic ink is most definitely formed from excess fats and other materials from her body, which can subsequently (and immediately, unlike external inks) be manipulated by her brain in the usual fashion. Lucy has had prior weight problems due to her overuse of this ability, but she's since been using a much healthier practice—by only secreting smaller, yet regular amounts of this organic ink, she can store it in her clothes as surplus to be used at any time; effectively giving her an infinite supply if she's patient enough. Lucy can also reabsorb her organic ink and convert it back into its base ingredients, albeit at the cost of it physically bulking her up. Similarly, if she generates too much ink at once she'll suffer the opposite effects of potential dehydration and starvation, and as such it's a balance she has to constantly watch for her own health.
    • Tactile Telepathy: More of a side-effect of her ESPer nature than an actual power, Lucy is capable of forming temporary psychic connections with others through physical contact; typically limited to bare skin. Though it only lasts as long as the contact is kept, this ability also transmits through her ink with enough concentration; enabling her to quickly and silently communicate with her allies even if they're at a distance away. In addition, as she's effectively melding her mind with her communication partner while it lasts, regular tactile-telepathy can actually end up forging a permanent bond; allowing her and a partner to communicate even without a physical connection. However, those with a closed mind (either by nature or on purpose) can render this ability null and void, and even if willingly instigated the connection can be cut off by the other party at any time.
  • Gear:
    • Utility Belt: A sleek metallic belt that is lined with compact ink cartridges, specifically for use in emergencies where Lucy cannot generate her own ink for whatever reason. The belt also contains a small communication module that Lucy can fit behind her ear, allowing her to tune in to specific frequencies such as radio stations, emergency services, or other such local unencrypted networks.
  • Backstory: Born in Newport, Rhode Island, Lucy's powers first developed in her teenage years seemingly out of spontaneity, and after a few incidents involving them she was eventually sent to attend Saint Academy in order to better control her abilities. Though having a frankly insane year at the school—facing multiple villains, visiting several alternate universes, and all the while trying to balance a rocky romance with another classmate—Lucy somehow managed to get out alive by the end of it, and eventually became a full-fledged superhero in her own right. Working out of Sweden for a time due to the greater need for superheroes there, Lucy has finally come back to America in order to redirect her efforts somewhere closer to home; now somewhat more confident in her ability to make a difference. Naturally, she's developed quite the reputation in her absence, but she hopes that this won't become an obstacle for her.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Has a noticeable bullet scar on the right-hand side of her neck, caused by a failed attempt at stopping an armed drug cartel during her initial vigilante work as a teenager. This serves as a constant reminder for her not to be reckless, and to always treat even the common criminal as a threat potentially equal to that of a megalomaniacal supervillain.
    • Used to have the ability to transform into ink, though this power seems to have vanished as she's matured for whatever reason. She personally theorizes that it was too unstable for her body to handle, and as such faded away in her early adulthood.
    • Has grown significantly past the height one would expect in her youth; a phenomena discovered present all throughout her family lineage. Unlike most, Livingstons seem to only stop growing taller in their early 20s instead of their mid-to-late teenage years.
    • As well as working as a superhero, Lucy is also a fairly respectable painter in her spare time; a career she'd have likely pursued in full if it wasn't for her superpowers and her sense of obligation in using them. Out of habit she usually ends up painting portraits of those close to her and who've otherwise affected her, hoping that she'll never forget them.

  • Real Name: Sue Wukong
  • Superhero Name: Monkey Queen
  • Age: 18
  • Appearance: Monkey girl ready for action.
  • Personality: Sue is wild, wily, fun-loving, rambunctious, curious, arrogant, and stubborn as all hell. She does whatever she wants whenever she wants, regardless of what anyone else tells her or expects of her. She is capable of following orders, but whoever's giving them has to earn or command her respect before that can happen. She does have a more insecure side. One that isn't sure if she's doing the right thing. But it never bothers her for too long, or if it does she tries not to show it. She's also rather temperamental, quick to anger and quick to judge. But she's also quick to make friends, and eager to make them. And she'll stick by her friends to the end. (Assuming they don't stab her in the back.) She also has her own sense of justice. An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. If someone's done wrong to her or people she cares about, she'll do wrong back. Or perhaps worse.
  • Powers: Sue has all the natural abilities of a monkey, albeit enhanced to human proportions. She has great strength and speed as well as incredible agility and dexterity, and that along with her tail and hands-for-feet opens up a lot of options. She can also heal somewhat faster than humans, though not to the point where she can replace an entire chunk of flesh in seconds. Additionally, as part of her heritage running back generations, she can make clones of herself from hairs on her body, though only up to two at a time. Any more and the last clone she made is replaced.
    • Monkey Queen: After recovering from a near fatal injury, Sue unlocked her true potential and gained several new powers and abilities. As the descendant of the Monkey King, Sue is immortal, often recovering from injuries that would be fatal to most. She can also morph her body and alter her appearance. Anything from stretching her limbs, to increasing or decreasing her size, to growing additional appendages like extra arms or wings. She can even turn into objects or other creatures with enough concentration. But the more she shapeshifts, the more she needs to concentrate, and the less effective her healing or other abilities become.
  • Gear: Sue possesses a long red staff that has been in her family for generations, though she barely used it until she ventured out into the world. Aside from being a useful weapon, she can also extend its' reach to the point where she can attack foes from a long distance. She can also use it to summon up a magic cloud that she can use to fly, though it often has a tendency to want to go west. Which is something she's never quite been able to figure out.
  • Backstory: In a universe far, far away, Sue was born and raised in a jungle home to a race of monkey people in China, and it was there that she learned most of her morals and principles as well as general lifestyle. This all changed after a smartphone fell out of a plane by accident and dropped right on her head. After reeling from the sheer impact of a small object hitting her at the speed of an unladen swallow, her curiosity got the better of her and she examined the phone. Not having spent a day in civilization or having any sort of handle on technology, it took her forever to get it working, but once she did, she couldn’t take her eyes off it. There was so much there that she didn’t understand. Books, tv shows, movies, pictures of cities the world over and more. Some in her position might have tossed the phone away, unable to deal with the sheer insanity of it all. But Sue was a different story. To the contrary, she was enraptured.
    • Truth be told, Sue had been longing for a change of pace for some time now. Up until now, her life was fairly uncomplicated and simple: Eating, fighting, fucking, and exploring. That was it. And she had been living in the jungle long enough that there wasn’t much she hadn’t already seen. Sure, there were plenty of trees and trails, and even some old temples devoted to the Gods. And she did enjoy those first four things immensely. But she wanted something more. And this was her chance to get it. She was particularly intrigued by one of the later videos. Something known as a ‘superhero’, battling fearsome enemies and protecting the world from evil. She’d had some experience with that. Mostly with protecting her friends from unruly apes and testy spirits from the temples who wanted to pick a bone with them. But this was on a whole other level. And the best part was, it looked fun as hell.
    • With that, Sue made up her mind. Not even taking the time to bid her farewells, she summoned up her Nimbus and soared off to the west to see what was out there, eventually landing in Supercity. Of course, the locals weren’t sure what to do with her, much less the authorities. All they knew was there was a built-ass monkey girl in nothing but her birthday suit jumping around and beating up anyone who so much as looked at her funny. In the jungle this would have been acceptable behavior, but she was in a different kind of jungle, and she couldn’t just do as she pleased. Still, what were they supposed to do? Judging by her appearance she was still a minor, and if what she said was true, she was from a different nation and culture altogether. So they weren’t sure they had so much as the authority to lock her up even if they wanted to. Ultimately they were left with two options. Either attempt to deport her (which would surely go over well with the Liberals and people’s rights activists), or try a different tact.
    • Ultimately they decided to let her stay, but on certain conditions. After bribing her with a small mountain of bananas, they set her up with a pair of handlers and told her that if she wanted to stay here, she had to do what they said. This was easier said than done, but she was willing to agree to it as long as it kept the police off her back and her handlers weren’t assholes. (And of course more bananas.)
    • After a couple months, her handlers got so fed up with her that they threatened to send her to a zoo if she didn't behave. By this point she had learned just enough about human culture and the written word to get by, so she ran away in the middle of the night and went off on her own. Despite her mistreatment, she still wanted to learn more about the world and experience all it had to offer. Plus she needed a place to stay. Eventually she saw an ad for Saint Academy on a billboard. With nowhere else to go, she headed over and enrolled the first chance she got. Besides, it looked like fun!
    • After many adventures and shenanigans, Sue got used to living at Saint Academy, making lots of pals and even snagging a girlfriend! But after a while, things got... boring. Villains stopped attacking, wormholes stopped appearing, and things became disgustingly normal. Even snogging her girlfriend wasn't enough for her. She wanted thrills! Chills! And whatever else rhymed with thrills! She almost thought about going back to her jungle full of evil spirits and beasties and taking her girlfriend with her. At least that would be something. But little did she know, fate would have other ideas.
  • Miscellaneous: Sue enjoys intense action flicks and wacky comedies. She is also an experienced and resilient fighter, hunter, and survivalist, as survival of the fittest is the rule of the land in her enclave, and one has to take care of one's self.

  • Real Name: Cole Streiss
  • Superhero Name: none so far.
  • Age: 23
  • Appearance: Cole dresses in a tight short sleeved coat made of black denim, a sleeveless vest with a damaged zipper that only goes up half way up his chest, and a likewise quite tight blue sleeveless shirt that is quite flattering on him. He wears a pair of tanned leather pants with a number of pockets added on, which have a number of odd little trinkets and items - souvenirs from his long and arduous travels. Cole has light brown hair that fades to blond at the tips - his eyes are light blue, and he looks visibly scruffy. He has a muscular but somewhat lean build, athletic and like that of a runner. He has a number of scars on his torso. He's now added a bandanna to his ensemble.
  • Personality: Cole is a rather jumpy if deadpan lad - he's lived through a lot, and tends to jump right to fight or flight solutions when he's faced with hostility. He tends to be very sarcastic and dry-witted when he can, viewing it as better than just laying down and letting everything happen. He can be a right flirt, though this is usually more of him trying to enjoy his time instead of shamelessly going after people. Cole is enthusiastic about singing - he used to be a bar singer, along with some of his friends, and despite his rough and tumble outlook, most remark he has a lovely singing voice. Furthermore, he is also smarter than he looks - he tends to be a more tactical sort, now more than before. His attitude to his powers has changed, viewing them with more connection to who he is, and less as something he has to fear. He's trying to get used to those around him and be more social with them. He's been through two huge world-shaking events now, and while he's quite jaded to the fact he's frequently at the epicenter of events, he wants to try and reach out to those around him to help them. He's also dealing with issues resulting from taking down Leopold - he might be strong enough to deal with any crazy right winger emboldened by Leopold, but he worries his friends might not be. So as a result he worries if him being so strong just invites damage and harm on his friends. He always tells himself not to get too attached, that he could end up across the multiverse any moment, but he can't help himself with all that they lived through together.
  • Powers: Cole's powers owing to the infusion from Wilma's mysterious Patron have been more finely honed, as he has become the "Metahuman Sage". His control has more than improved, owing to an understanding of his powers, and if he wants to push above his former limits, he has a new "random number generator" from 101 to 125. His psychic powers can act all the way down to the atomic level, and can do things from empower his physical attacks, launch telepathic attacks, to control his surroundings...one of his definite strengths is the sheer variability to his power usage.
    • Weakness: Poor Control: Even with the Sage upgrade, Cole is still a volatile, unpredictable guy with poor emotional control. With his powers tending to flare up when he gets emotional, this obviously means he can misfire significantly if his emotions get to a certain point.
  • Gear: Cole carries a blue metal knife with him called Memoir, which is sharper and more durable than most known metals.
  • Backstory: Falling out of the sky is something Cole's familiar with - and as he showed up in Super City, he was distinctly aware of the recent flare ups of human and metahuman resentments. He spent a good amount of time on the ground, trying to get a feel for what was going on before making a move to try and sign up for Saint University. He didn't have good memories of a number of those present, remembering them as people distinctly different than they are, but Cole has always been a "move forward, don't move back" type. He knows they're not who he remembers, but old issues don't just heal up perfectly all the same. Cole is nothing if not a survivor. And he's now survived a lot more. Following stopping Leon Leopold, Cole has been dealing with the human side of his powers and their perception.

  • Real Name: Iris Langley
  • Superhero Name: Visionary
  • Age: 20 (Appears 16)
  • Appearance:
    • Human form: A small, slender girl with short black hair. Her body and clothes are dotted with numerous eyes that shift, appear, and disappear seemingly at random. In addition, she lacks eyes on her face beyond her normal shifting eyes. Has two small horns that protrude from either side of her head, though, as they are the same color as her hair, they can be hard to see.
    • True form: The only part of Iris’s true form that can reliably be described is her optic nerves. She has a seemingly infinite number of them extending from her body in a manner reminiscent of tentacles. Each is tipped with a single unblinking eyeball. The body those optic nerves are attached to is impossible to describe or even comprehend for a 3-dimensional brain. She claims this form has horns, and judging by the size of her “meals”, it likely has quite a large mouth as well, but anything else is unknown.
  • Personality: Around most people, Iris is a timid girl possessed of noticeable social anxiety that leaves her stuttering with her words. Around friends, however, she becomes much more outgoing, talkative, and confident. She sees her friends as her “family” and has an incredibly strong desire to protect them, despite the dangerous work they do. When this desire is pushed to its limit, another side of her comes out and she becomes sadistic, cruel, and even malicious. It is unknown if this facet of Iris is due to her Eldritch physiology, but Iris herself believes it is, unwilling to equate it with her human mind.
  • Powers:
    • She of the Infinite Eyes: Iris can manifest her true form’s eyes on herself or any surface she’s touching, and once manifested, she can freely shift them across the surface in question and use them to channel her wide range of vision-related powers. Eyes on surfaces other than her body become more difficult to maintain with distance, time, and number of eyes currently manifested.
    • Freeze Vision
    • Heat Vision
    • X-Ray Vision
    • Night Vision
    • Telescopic Vision
    • Truesight
    • Children of Ahl’kuur: Iris can summon the Children of Ahl’kuur, servant creatures provided by her Eldritch patron, which resemble giant eyeball connected to tentacular optic nerves. Individually, they’re little more than cannon fodder, but she can call up to 10 at a time. Iris has been experimenting with creating servants of her own, but has had no luck as of yet.
    • Planar Gates: Iris can create gates between the 3-dimensional plane and the 8-dimensional plane inhabited by Eldritch Abominations. These gates can be formed on any solid surface and take the form of large 2-dimensional eyes. Due to the differing nature of distance between planes, these can be used as “shortcuts”, and Iris can extend her true form’s optic nerves through gates into the 3D plane.
    • Nonexistent Body: Less a power than a consequence of her inhuman physiology, the human form Iris takes within the 3D plane cannot truly be said to exist. Instead, the intrusion of an 8D being into a 3D world creates a “fold” in space, onto which Iris’s mental image of herself is projected. This non-existent body can take damage, feel pain, and even be incapacitated, but it has no blood to lose or vital organs to destroy, and damage is not reflected back onto the true body.
  • Gear: N/A
  • Backstory: In an isolated town in Massachusetts, Iris was born to the wealthy Langley family, who secretly worshipped an Eldritch Abomination known as Ahl’kuur, the Many-Eyed One. Having just the tiniest bit of Ahl’kuur’s blood in her lineage, the being in question chose to Bless the child for its own amusement, and Iris was born with countless shifting eyes. Ostracized by her peers throughout elementary and middle school, Iris was left with crippling social anxiety, and transferred to Saint Academy in an attempt to fit in.
This succeeded beyond her wildest dreams, and Iris soon found herself with a second family she could rely on. However, after the Gaea attacks, Iris realized that she herself wasn’t strong enough to be relied on and spent a year on her own learning about her heritage, training her abilities, and communing with her patron in an effort to fix that. During this time, whether it came naturally with age or resulted from the increase in her power, Iris underwent a metamorphosis, from something that was mostly human, to a full blown Eldritch Abomination in her own right.
When she was satisfied with her training, she returned to the Saint Foundation and joined her friends on a number of missions. During the final battle with the Saviors, Iris entreated Ahl’kuur for a sizable loan in power. The power returned to its owner at battle’s end, but left Iris with a sizable debt to her patron. A debt that she recently squared away through means she is unwilling to elaborate on.

  • Real Name: Gabriel Mattiuza-Snow

  • Superhero Name: Overlord

  • Age: 18

  • Appearance: Typically seen wearing a T-shirt with the words 'Paragon' written over the and comfortable looking pants. Tall, skinny, and looking like a day in the sun would burn him to a crisp. However almost every inch of his body is covered in runic sigils that glow and pulsate.

  • Personality: Brass and overconfident beyond even the most entitled person Gabriel believes that the entire world exists for his own amusement and that anything that defies his objective view of reality is a simple glitch that needs fixing. However this twisted view of the world has lead to a very caring nature, as it was drilled into him that 'one must care for the things that you claim ownership of'. As such he values life and others as equal to his own ego.

  • Powers: Eternal Magical Reactor- Due to the nature of his existence Gabriel has a near infinite amount of power, however it is impossible for him to actually control that power naturally or make it do anything useful for him without a tool to project it too. He is akin to the worlds most powerful battery, extremely interesting but utterly useless unless plugged into something.

  • Seven Sigil Formation: Sin- A massive Sigil implanted over his body that allows him to access seven unique powers depending on which Sigil he floods with power at one time.

  • The Deity Sin of Pride- A power that draws upon his pride, allowing his a great boost in all physical stats and putting him on par with those who are naturally born with super strength. While in this state his stamina, durability, and strength are all tied to his self image, which means any crack in confidence denotes a loss in power.

  • The Demon Sin of Wrath- A power born of anger and hatred. Allows him to produce hellish flames that don't burn, but instead freeze anything they touch. However his own body will slowly freeze over the longer this ability is in use.

  • The Rabbit Sin of Lust- A power born of his own desire to multiply without care, it allows him to create duplicate copies of himself through mitosis, each copy only with slightly above human abilities. However the copies cannot divide again, and will die off within minutes of being 'born'.

  • The Panda Sin of Sloth- A power born of sheer exhaustion that allows him to enter into a sort of 'healing coma' that will allow him to regenerate from any wound, even the loss of a limb given enough time.

  • The Flame Sin of Gluttony- A power born of hunger and lack or care, it allows Gabriel to absorb a vast amount of damage and pain and use it to strength himself, the more punishment this form takes in the stronger it grows. Of course the moment he takes an attack too large for him to handle it will result in him passing out.

  • The Maggot Sin of Envy- A power born of self-hatred, Gabriel will typically refuse to use this ability unless truly backed into a corner. Once activated he will begin to leech away the power of his enemy and give it onto himself, becoming a copy of them so long as the power remains active.

  • The Human Sin of Greed- Refuses to use this ability, and won't explain why.

  • Gear: Typically lacks any and all gear, finding it beneath him.

  • Backstory: The child of one of the worlds greatest heroes and a deva, however his is an existence that hasn't yet manifested within the mainline reality, rather he is a possibility from a few worldlines down who grew up in a world of almost eternal peace and left to find something to do with his own powers before he fell to the temptation of evil. While being twisted in his way that he views the world his parents both attributed much to his philosophy, taking his mothers confidence and his fathers ideals and creating a hybrid between the two of them. What he seeks is mostly a reason for his existence that will give purpose to his majesty.

  • Miscellaneous: Despite casually saying that he is better then anyone he will admit that when it comes to cooking he could 'be better'. He values people that can cook and make good food more so then anything else, and will go to hell and back for people who feed him.

1.) Real Name: Mason Bridges

2.) Superhero Name: Masked Fighter Alpha Revelations

3.) Age: 25

4.) Appearance: This handsome SOB here. As Alpha Revelations, his suit is more streamlined with a Silver and White color scheme and a black under body. The silver becomes colors based on the element, as well as the black under suit.

5.) Personality: A few words to properly describe Mason is excitable, hyper and passionate. Mason grew up refusing to believe in shame for the things you believed in, worked on, and fought for. His bracer is his prized achievement, and it's something he boasts about constantly when given the opportunity. However, he's still a nice guy, and believes in justice and helping those who can't help themselves. He also likes to think of ways of "improving" devices and designs...even when they don't work out the way they should. That time with the toaster oven still haunts him to this day...but his inventions will make the world a better place! You'll see!

6.) Powers: Mason uses the powers of the Elemental planes to become an armored crime fighter, his inner Armor and Outer Armor having different combinations of how to use them.

  • Inner armor
    • Dark: physical attribute increase
    • Light: blinding disorienting attacks
    • Fire: explosive and fiery attacks
    • Water: mild hydrokinesis control
    • Wind: Super Speed
    • Earth: slower, stronger, able to control small portions of the earth

  • Outer armor:

    • Dark: Jaunting planned attacks
    • Light: hard light hologram
    • Fire: blazing hot aura
    • Water: swimming through air and water attacks
    • Wind: extremely fast, flight
    • Earth: tankiness, gravity manipulation

7.) Gear: Mason gains his powers strictly from his gear, namely the Genesis Driver (Upgraded and rebranded to the Revelations Driver) and the Element Dial, the object that allows for him to switch between the combinations of his armor at a whim.

8.) Backstory: For as long as he could remember, Mason was fascinated by the concept of SCIENCE! Probably not at all helped that his family were deep into the concepts of science as well. His mom more than any of them, often lost in her own world she found herself flying solo for quite some time. However, as expected as it was, her experiments would be the death of her, quite literally. She left no legacy and her name was ultimately forgotten in the scientific community, a fate that Mason deemed nothing short of horrific. All that time, all that effort, was gone simply because she couldn't make a name for herself. Mason maintained that if she died doing what she loved, then there was no point in being upset about it; it was her drive, her dream, her ambition and he wanted to maintain that through her wishes. So, with his drive set, he created the Genes-Driver and made a goal: to ensure that his name would be at least passed down and remember through the ages, no matter the stakes! So says Masked Fighter Genesis!

  • His first year of the Superhero University brought him several things, including friends, family, and a new set of powers at the cost of one of his arms. As a result, not one to fester in the realm of despair, he set upon making a new Driver and a new set of powers, one to make his own: SO says the newly risen hero, Masked Rider Omega Genesis!
  • After becoming an official hero and fighting off against the likes of various villains, finally getting in touch with the Elemental Forces of Light and Dark and allowing his brain to split in two, Mason discovered some shocking revelations: His mother is alive and lost to the inbetween of the different worlds, and he wants to try and find her. Through the help of his friends, his brain was fixed, and a new set of powers will allow him to do just that, through his new title, Masked Fighter Alpha Revelations!
  • And now, with new technology and a new path in front of him, Mason begins the process of charting through the Multiverse and finding even greater achievements through study and making worlds, ALL worlds, a better place to live! So decrees Masked Fighter Alpha Revelations!

9.) Miscellaneous: Gains incredibly random bursts of "Inspiration" at the strangest times, which results in him writing it down...regardless of the current situation he's in. In addition, when he works, he listens to a fair amount of "Queen".

[up] Both of you are accepted. Finally finished my sheet, so I'll put it here.

  • Real Name: Gita “Gee” Bright

  • Superhero Name: Synesthesia

  • Age: 23

  • Appearance: 5'5 ½ with a somewhat stocky build, medium-brown skin with red undertones, curly (4a, to be specific) black hair styled with an undercut, brown eyes.

    • Civilian clothes: Gita is into the whole cyberpunk/synthwave/vaporwave look, so expect lots of grid patterns and graphic tees featuring classical art, weird geometric shapes like in bowling alley carpets/old-school city bus seats, and/or characters from anime that ended long before they were born. They have also started wearing more snapbacks and beanies out in public since becoming a superhero so that their hairstyle wouldn’t be easily recognized.

    • Supersuit: Black full-body suit (excluding head and fingers) with a Teletubby-esque screen on the chest displaying equalizers that correspond to the song they're listening to. As for accessories, they wear gradient combat boots (sky-blue -> teal -> purple) and a wicked-cool visor.

  • Personality: Fun-loving and introspective, Gee is passionate about about the music that they create and their superhero work. However, while they put up a front of being easygoing and laid-back, they are actually rather prone to anxiety and sometimes get into “moods” that they try to play off at times.

  • Powers:

    • Hard-light projection: Gita has the ability to conjure hard-light forms with their mind (not unlike Dazzler for you X-Men fans), both concrete and abstract. However, this power seems to be tied intrinsically with their chromesthesia, as these constructs can only be summoned while Gita is listening to music, and the music affects what kind of form the hard light takes on.

    • Hovering: They can hover and fly as long as they remain within the Earth (or any other planet they’re on)’s gravitational field. When Gita is hovering just above the ground, their movements tend to mimic that of a figure skater.

    • AMV Mode: This is actually a feature programmed by Mason into Gita’s suit rather than an actual power they possess. When this is activated, their mode of combat becomes far more swift and theatrical, like something out of a shonen anime.

  • Gear:

    • Headphones: Noise-cancelling, Bluetooth-connected, has a microphone attached to communicate with teammates. Gita is always seen wearing these, whether on their ears or around their neck.

    • Song-selection bangle: Worn on Gita's left forearm while in hero mode, has a touchscreen interface that accesses playlists that can be sent to their headphones.

  • Backstory: Born as the only superhuman in a non-powered family, Gita's powers manifested at a young age. At first, their projections were rather chaotic, as many toddlers' imaginations are, and triggered by a multitude of sounds. Over the years, however, they learned to limit the activation of their powers to music, which they then used to learn how to heal wounds when they were in the 4th grade.

However, Gita was constantly bullied when they were in school note , only having small circles of friends at a time before they eventually dispersed. Worse, Gaea’s propaganda was at its peak during Gita’s adolescence, leading them to hide their powers more often for their own safety. Eventually, Gita finished high school, started attending college for a Fine Arts degree, and came out of their shell once and for all, both as a metahuman and as a bigender person.

By the time they were 21, Gita had begun a new life for themself in Super City as an independently-contracted DJ under the handle Synesthesia, creating light shows in time to music to entertain the club-going crowds. It was also around this time that their life became EVEN MORE exciting.

When a trio of redneck terrorists attacked a club they were performing at during Superhero Night, Gita aided in the fight by helping take down the hicks’ force fields with a well-aimed light beam. It was then that Gita decided to answer the call to become a superhero themself, adapting their Synesthesia handle into a codename.

A year and a half has passed since then. During that time they’ve gained their footing as a superhero and even got a cool suit along with it, engineered by their new roommate and geeky bosom buddy Mason. Even still, Gee feels a constant need to prove their worth as a hero to their more seasoned comrades.

  • Miscellaneous:

    • Gita is mainly referred to as they/them for the sake of consistency and to avoid confusion, but both she/her and he/him are also applicable. Additionally, they identify as pan-demisexual, only able to feel attraction to close friends but with gender as a non-issue.

    • Despite their grace while hovering, Gee doesn’t actually know how to ice-skate.

  • Real Name: Akari Hattori
  • Superhero Name: Vermillion
  • Age: 19
  • Appearance:
    • Civilian: A rat-woman with bright white fur and red eyes. Her legs end in large, clawed, pink feet, and her hands, nose and tail are pink as well. Her tail is long and cordlike. She's tall and surprisingly muscular, though still manages to look lean, having a similar runner's build to her mother. Her hair is similar in color to her fur, and she usually keeps it tied back in a long braid.
    • Hero: Unlike her clan, who have a preference for darker colors, Akari's hero outfit is a brilliant red, almost clashing with her white fur. Foregoing armor and mask, instead of 'ninja' her outfit leans more towards a martial arts look, being essentially a midriff-baring gi.
  • Personality: Akari has a slightly inflated sense of her own abilities, thinking of herself as nearly invincible, and as a result she's a fair bit reckless. Combined with her anti-authority streak, she might come off as impulsive and probably rude. But those who get to know her will find she's kind and compassionate in her own way. She also has a strong heroic impulse, and will readily jump in front of bullets for people she's never met.
  • Powers:
    • Nezumi: Being beastfolk, Akari is naturally slightly superhuman. Stronger and tougher than a grown man, able to leap great distances, and outrun most normal humans even without her powers. As a rat specifically, she has enhanced smell, night vision, a minor vibration-sense via her whiskers, and can walk on walls and ceilings as easily as the ground. Her tail acts like a third, longer arm, albeit lacking some dexterity due to having no fingers. Finally, she has a bite many times stronger than a human's, able to gnaw through steel within seconds.
    • Saint's Legacy: Her father was a clone of the Saint, and Akari inherited his powers. Akari is many times stronger, faster, and tougher than a normal human. Perhaps due to her mother's influence, her abilities are slanted more towards speed than strength, but she is nonetheless strong enough to flip a car and tough enough to shrug off bullets.
    • Bio Blades: Her father at some point merged with a bioweapon and gained some control over his own biology. Akari has a similar ability, though she thus far can only use it to elongate her teeth and claws, or grow spikes out of her body to use as blades.
    • Ninja Skills: While not as skilled as her mother, she nonetheless learned her clan's martial art style, the 'Art of Five Limbs', which utilizes hands, feet, and tail for strong, precise strikes.
  • Gear:
    • Bottomless Kunai Pouch: A small pouch on her belt, supposedly created with her clan's secret arts, containing an effectively endless number of throwing knives and shuriken. Magically self-refilling, though it takes a few seconds to make another weapon. Though designed for throwing, in a pinch they can be used as melee weapons. Knives made by the pouch will vanish after a few minutes.
  • Backstory: The Nezumi clan of ninja traces its lineage back to feudal Japan, where they were supposedly allied to the Iga ninja clan serving the legendary Hattori Hanzo and Tokugawa Ieyasu. However, they turned against Tokugawa near the end of the Warring States period, siding instead with another Lord, Ishida Mitsunari. This proved disastrous, and Mitsunari's province was crushed by Tokugawa. The Nezumi clan dispersed, some hiding across Japan while others fled to different countries, including to the West. In secret, they passed down their ninja arts from parent to child. One such child was Nariko Hattori, who used her clan's ninja arts in combination with her own metahuman ability to become a superhero. In the process of protecting the world from various evildoers, she met and fell in love with a fellow hero, Marcus Kent. A clone of the Saint, originally going by Saint Lad, he later grew into his own man. Despite a run in with a monster that left him shaken, he and Nariko nonetheless stayed together, and eventually had a child.
    • Nariko named her child Akari - 'Light' - in the hopes that she would grow into a hero like her parents. And a hero she became, albeit one far cockier than Nariko would like. Akari nonetheless began to forge her own path, becoming a hero in her own way. In the process, she wound up spending a lot of time with Aunt Ellie and Uncle Mikael, despite her mother's protests that Mikael was a bad influence. As she began to get comfortable with her life as a hero, she wound up on a strange roadtrip. Fortunately, Akari is one who is very good at going with the flow.

  • Real Name: Iona Bassano

  • Superhero Name: Hecate

  • Age: 23

  • Appearance: She's not one much for the "cape and robe" aesthetic

  • Personality: Iona is the learned sort of person. Given the nature of the power and place from which she calls upon to use her magic, she's also the sort to stay calm and level-headed, rarely losing her composure too much in most situation. Despite calling on literal magic, she's got a somewhat cold, logical outlook about the world, though this has softened, giving way to a more philosophical outlook. Some would say she's perhaps a tiny bit heartless, but if there's anyone who's willing to make hard decisions, it's her. She has trouble showing care for others, often making her actions seem less well-intended than they actually are to her. Years of seclusion haven't left her shy, but she is rather clumsy about how she goes about things, often not knowing the right words, and she's perhaps too curious and interested in knowledge for her own good.

    • Although, Iona has changed in many ways since her time in the Academy and during her time in the Foundation. She's more relaxed, less cold. Though the distance is still there, she genuinely cares about those around her, now filled with a sincere desire to do good with her powers. To make up for all the wrong she'd ever done with them too. Her cynicism has softened significantly, sparks of hope and optimism breaking through the shell of what once was a self-interested, egoistic loner.

  • Powers:

    • Elemental Magic: Iona can call upon the Elemental Planes to cast magic of fire, water, earth, air, light and dark and their subtypes. She's advanced to an accomplished level in all of them, though the time she spent powerless and the still remaining fear of losing control has weakened her significantly. In addition, Iona is able to attune to Elemental Energy, sensing it and using it to empower spells in areas where it coalesces strongly in the normal world. However, careful emotional control is required to stop spells from going haywire.

    • Spirit Pact: Iona knows how to and can form pacts with Elemental Spirits. Once a pact is formed, Iona can briefly call them for assistance in a spell or to use their own abilities. With enough skill, time and a good bond, she can summon them for extended periods of time as a comrade. She currently has a brand new pact with a minor wind fairy by the name of Azure, the giant golem of strength, Gigas, and an avian spirit, Halcyon.

  • Gear:

    • Grimoire Iridescent: An old tome that still yet shimmers with a rainbow shine in the light. Carefully engraved into the front cover is an enclosed circle comprised of a ring of four circles, encircling two more. Each circle has a symbol of an element within. On the back, an illustration of the circle on the front intersecting with a circular depiction of a flat part of Earth. Though it appears finite, the pages never seem to reach their end when turned, holding all the magical knowledge that Iona knows and has to learn with a fickle hand.

    • Ring of Arcane Alacrity: Although Iona doesn't need any aid to cast spells, this simple iron band with a single shimmering ruby set within allows her to cast most low-effort spells with simple, subtle hand movements.

    • Satchel of Elements: Housed within this seemingly infinite pouch are a variety of elementally-charged components used to empower spells and perform rituals. It's actually just a glorified bag of holding that only holds items thick in Elemental Energy, also stopping others from exposure to it which can have negative side effects after long-term exposure

    • Insight of The Six Lords: A deck of 24 cards with blank faces and a symbol of one of the 6 elements on the back. Used to do rough fortune telling.

    • Jacket of Prismatic Protection: Though it appears to be a normal jacket, Iona's jacket is actually enchanted to provide protection from the elements. It never catches on fire, never freezes or gets wet, never dries out or gets dirty. It also offers minor protection from hostile magic.

    • Seal of The Elemental Plane: This signet ring has the seal made out of vibrant crystal that shines with the colours of the rainbow. The seal is of the same design as that on the front of the Grimoire Iridescent. But this ring is more than just for show. In the presence of large amounts of Elemental Energy, the seal changes colour to match the type of Elemental Energy. It also protects Iona from all Elemental Energy exposure, allowing her to move through the Elemental Plane unharmed should she enter it.

    • Halycon's Plume: A feathery cape that's the symbol of Halcyon's boon upon Iona. This cape allows Iona to hover just about the ground, glide and ensures that she's never affected by adverse natural wind or sea conditions. With a bit of Elemental Energy manipulation, Iona can attain true flight.

    • Time's Reprieve: A lustrous gold pocketwatch that Iona often hangs from her waist, it does not actually tell time, being perpetually stuck at 12:00. Rather, it serves to assist Iona in casting a spell that restores a non-living thing to a state it was in up to an hour before, hands moving backwards the appropriate amount of time. While in use, the gold changes to an obsidian black. Once the spell is complete, the watch counts forward to the 12:00 as usual, and can't go behind more than 12 hours.

  • Backstory: Born in a small town in Italy, Iona normally humdrum life changed at around 13 years old when she came across an old book on the Elemental Planes while browsing the library. With the spark of curiosity kindled inside her, she sought more and more knowledge about it, unaware of the superstitions and taboo associated with calling upon the Elemental Planes. Her parents' fear and frustration grew, eventually forbidding her from pursuing the topic any further.

    • Frustrated by the growing fear and rumours going around about what she thought was simple curiosity, she took off on her own at 15, running away. In doing so, she came across a most curious speaking bird, who introduced himself as Bellpepper. At the time, Bellpepper heard her plea as she broke down about all her pent up frustrations. With his help, she managed to track down a group by the name of the Society of The Iridescent Gem, a cabal of mages who venerated the Elemental Planes, Spirits and Lords. What followed was 2 years of a grueling apprenticeship, being taught the ways of the Elements and the meanings in their essences.

    • After creating her Ring of Arcane Alacrity, the right of passage for all apprentices, she was officially accepted as a member into the Society, being handed her own Grimoire Iridescent, Seal of the Elemental Plane and Satchel of Elements, and took Bellpepper on as her familiar. And as all new members, she was now mostly on her own, tasked with going on a pilgrimage to come to her own, deeper understanding of the world and the Elements, to discover new things and experiences for herself. Seeing the potential in the world of superhero society, she called upon a friend in the Society to sponsor her attendance to Saint Academy, and ventured forth into the dark unknown of a world age knew little of.

    • After leaving Saint Academy post-Gaea attack, Iona wandered the world, continuing her pilgrimage to understand the Elements and what they truly meant to the world, her skills in the mystic arts growing over the years. But dark whispers of fate called her back to Super City, and she followed. Eager to hopefully meet her old friends once again, she joined up with the Saint Foundation.

    • In the aftermath of the Savior invasion, Iona bit the bullet and confronted her inner demons (almost literally) in a trip inside of her mind, confronting her darkest thoughts in order to regain her powers. When her friends left the Foundation, she did too, clinging to the one group she had grown to enjoy being around, and to seek a personal redemption for all the wrongs she had caused in the past.

  • Miscellaneous: Has a familiar called Bellpepper. Is a member of the Society of The Iridescent Gem.
