“ Alright, alien invasion, transmissions, psychic powers, Megami Tensei,” Roland said. “This’ll be fun! Maybe!”

He made an effort to focus on an image of a sword in his classic cyan shade, but despite going through all the normal processes the way he was used to, it wouldn’t work. He tried switching gears by summoning an axe or a hammer, but neither of those worked, either! Ro panicked a bit as he flipped through everything he’d ever brought into reality with his thoughts, flipping his hands back and forth as the only thing he could get to materialize was a measly pair of teal shoelaces, glowing weakly and fading in and out of existence.

“Oh, gadzooks...”

You are transported to a sidewalk on a corner. The city is bustling with people, so none notice your sudden arrival.

Plenty of conversations can be overheard.

"Hey, did you hear about the cool new arcade?"

"Have you been to the arcade? It's pretty sweet."

"I love the new arcade... I go there whenever I'm sad... or happy... or angry... Any time, really."

Salomão missing most of the conversation, is mostly sitting there confused until he sees his neighbour summon a pair of shoelaces that seemed to flicker in and out of reality

"Where the hell am i..." He finally announces in English

He would ask until the sudden shift onto a sidewalk disoriented him to a moment of silence

Tatsuya is looking at awe at the city. It was way different than Tokyo.

"Wow."

[Upon being teleported to the sidewalk, Aigis slowly gravitates towards Tatsuya. Something about him seemed familiar, and yet she couldn’t recall ever meeting someone like him before.]

The golem was about to let out another word before they were all instantly teleported away, but instead lets out a noise that can only be described as a sigh. He then turns towards the others.

"Perhaps it would do well if we introduce ourselves to each other. I am Korobov. A pleasure to meet you all."

Tatsuya noticed Aigis getting closer to him. The feelings of familiarity were mutual. He was somewhat confused (well, duh-doy) but he tries to be friendly with her.

"May...I help you, ma'am?"

[Aigis looks up at Tatsuya.] "Am I bothering you? I’m sorry."

"Name's Ceres. Nice to meet you guys." Ceres tries to look for some way to arm herself for this situation the beebot is putting her in.

"No no no, you're fine. You were just...getting close to me, that's all."

Ro looked around at the bustle of the city around him as he went along with the group, hearing the beats and sounds of the streetlights and traffic signals, the way he always would. It made it all the more noticeable that he couldn’t summon anything — and all the worse when he caught a glimpse of a billboard that said “Get Protection Against Y2K Today!”

“Call me The...” He thought for a second before figuring a secret identity was useless in a universe that very clearly wasn’t his own, and these guys probably didn’t mean him much harm. “Roland,” he said. “Or just Ro.”

You all arrive at a department store. It is the tallest building in the city, and has many people entering and exiting.

You find plenty of medical supplies in a pharmacy that can cure almost any ailment you can think of.

"Hey Roland." Ceres waves to the guys. "Yeah, this whole thing is so confusing. And seriously, how the hell is no one else noticing the alien robots?"

Ceres enters the department store, and searches for some equipment.
