Aside from the seethe, it's just a very good Q4 report for Cover. They're well over their forecasts, and they'd already adjusted those up after a stellar Q3. Net profit is 6.6% over forecast, as well as 65% up YoY. Fes was a massive success, with physical attendees to the Expo up 4,000 from last year's 26,000. The Fes itself was even bigger, with all 4 stages totaling 58,000 attendees compared to last year's 15,000.
It also seems like Cover has also made strides to make the revenue share less top-heavy, as the top 20 talents take home 40% of the revenue share, as opposed to 60% from last year. Given 85 talents (Mococo and Fuwawa count as one), they averaged about $109,000 per talent for the quarter, though if that remuneration is accurate, whoever is considered to be their top talent was paid nearly $450,000 for the quarter.
Man, hololive is thriving. Also, I'll never get tired of seeing such a silly statement like "Fuwawa Abyssgard and Mococo Abyssgard, who shared a channel, were counted as one person" in a serious document.
Also, it looks like Cover has plans to apply to be changed from a Growth Market exchange on the Tokyo Stock Exchange to a Prime Market, meaning they'll likely be allowing foreign investment at some point in the future for further growth.
