"Knew it! Let's goooo!" Zanreo says as she runs into the next room.
shouldn't his favorite genre be RPG and not point and click thoughAdept enters the next room lugging his packages and ready with his tools.
Taco follows behind, shaking his can of bug spray, before accidentally spraying it in his face, causing himself great inconvenience.
HuzzahPlaying rushes into the next room.
Ginzo follows cautiously, making sure there are no traps.
"Get me a gun, I'm a soldier; but put me in that suit and I'm a superhero." - Gunnery Sgt Roberta "Bobbie" Draper MMCSo... can anybody join at any time?
GET A JOB, HIPPIE!Sure!
A great Mascot Mook.Cool, cool.
Mikk clumsily stumbles into the next room. "Ah, damn it, I missed the last puzzle. Oh, well..."
GET A JOB, HIPPIE!Why did you leave me at base! I guess I am here now.
Following Mikk is GCB. "Alright, what do we have here?"
TRS Wick Cleaning"Aren't those two gargoyles... real?"
I can't think of a good signature. So, who's going next? Also, how does an in-universe hint system sound? After all, some puzzles everyone may not get as I doubt we're all experts at puzzles, so something like that would be useful. I already have an idea how to go about that for when it's my turn to do a trial. Though the one thing I'm unsure about is the limit to the hint system as using it too much can ruin the fun of the game. I don't know if there should be a number limit to the hints like 3, or a time limit in-between hints (30 minutes in-universe, 1 per page out of universe).
The League of HeroesYou can go next if you want to. A hint system sounds fine by me. I'd personally go with limiting it to three hints, but that's just my opinion.
A great Mascot Mook.Nah, I'll wait and have others go before me, I have a few ideas for trials but have yet to finish polishing them
The League of HeroesAnd I just came up with a small introductory trial since we're still in the beginning phase so to speak.
The next room was a long, spacious corridor. On a shelf to the right of the entrance is a tiki with glowing blue eyes. it soon becomes evident it's alive when he starts speaking.
Tiki: Welcome to the Temple of Trials! Sorry if I startled you, I'm one of the guides the ancients placed around the temple to help worthy trial-goers. We give hints to help those stuck on the trials, but as these are meant to be trials you're expected to ask sparingly. Naturally, to those we deem unworthy we give out zero hints.
You're not the first ones here nor will you be the last, in fact what seemed to be a famous explorer or adventurer and crew came here a few days ago. Don't know what happened to them as I'm not allowed to leave my station, but from the sounds of the temple it seems they're quite a few trials ahead of you.
Anyways my job here to to merely introduce you to the temple, not give hints as the challenge in the corridor is simple enough that it requires no hints. You'll know it when you see it, just walk a little ways down the corridor to activate the trial.
The League of HeroesAdept asks the Tiki: "I am an adventurer searching for treasure. What will the next challenge be?"
Zanreo walks down the corridor. "So where's the challenge?"
shouldn't his favorite genre be RPG and not point and click thoughThe tiki responds to Adept.
I'm not allowed to say as that's under the jurisdiction of the tiki of the next trial, if there's a tiki there. Plus I don't know as I never left this post.
Meanwhile Zanreo has stepped on a hidden switch on the floor that was unavoidable as it spanned from one wall to the other. Suddenly the room started to rock violently as if there was an earthquake. A loud slamming sound caught GC's attention and he turned around to see a the entrance blocked by a massive wall that wasn't there before. Another wall then extends from the ceiling and slams into the ground directly in front of it, then other wall. This continues at an increased rate as the ceiling walls move towards the tropers.
"I THINK I KNOW WHAT THE TRIAL IS, OUTRUNNING THAT!"
He turns back around and starts the long run to the end of the corridor. Way in the distance he can see the previously closed temple door to the third trial was now open.
The League of Heroes"Welp... better start running!" Zanreo says as she runs as fast as she can towards the third room.

shouldn't his favorite genre be RPG and not point and click thoughAdept begins running at a fast rate.
Before I call it a night should mention that for pacing reasons I think it's best that no one reaches the end of the corridor in one post as it is supposed to be a long corridor. How long the corridor actually is will be revealed in my next post.
The League of HeroesGCB also starts running.
TRS Wick Cleaning"Fuck, I didn't know this temple was going to be an Indiana Jones temple!" Mikk begins running.

GET A JOB, HIPPIE!“God damn it, I told you guys we should’ve brought a carjack but noooo, we’re not gonna find a car in the jungle! I swear, I’m unappreciated in my time...” Taco has very much not run at this point.
Huzzah
Zorua then runs headlong through the doors at Mach 2 for no reason.
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?
