Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessRemaking and expanding on the Hot Mom and Hot Dad tropes because they both would fall into the category of tropes based on other people's opinions.
Really bad idea. These are not simply opinion tropes, but fetishization ones; the latter are much more problematic than the former and that's why Fetish Fuel does not allow examples.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNot to start an argument but can't a lot of tropes be fetishized if done wrong/right?
Sure, but it's pretty easy to tell legitimate examples of, say, The Messiah apart from fetishistic ones.
There really is no purpose for Hot Mom or Hot Dad other than perving on characters.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That's what the fan service page is, more or less.
...No, it isn't.
Fanservice is something that can be objectively found in a work. It's very easy to tell when a creator adds Fanservice, and that's what's being documented. It's not fans gushing about characters they find sexy, and any examples that do gush over sexy characters need to be rewritten or cut.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThat makes sense.
Could old red link club tropes be revived and moved to the sugar wiki if they were also based on many people's opinions?
