Special abilities: Enhanced 'luck', both good and bad. Basically, Boxcar Joe's power make actuaries grind their teeth; the less likely something is, the more likely it is to happen to Boxcar Joe. The Window Smashers use Boxcar Joe as sort of a canary, steering him toward dangerous situations.
Weaknesses: Boxcar Joe has a short attention span and has trouble sustaining effort, since experience with his luck has taught him the long-range plans never work out for him.
Appearance: Basically Shaggy from Scooby-doo, cheep clothes that look like they have been slept in. Probably multible days.
Weapon of choice: Improvised weapons.
Items: A couch in remarkably good shape, the core of the couch is a pan dimensional surfboard (as seen in the Doctor Who episode Boom Town)
Fears: Commitment since he has learned anyone he falls in love with, which will always end in tragedy.
Likes: Tomato soup
Dislikes:Being forced to work for money.
Your preferred way for them to die: Some way that leaves his body vanished and a chance (however slim) that he somehow escaped into another dimension.

Name: Mindy Spikebutt
Age: Old enough but looks in her early teens. She doesn't really know how old she is, nor does she care. If asked her age she will literally say "Old enough, now mind your business".
Species: Fairy
Gender: "Female, isn't it obvious? Not too bright are you?" (Said to whoever first recruited her for the Window Breakers when they asked)
Special Ability: Has an uncanny knack with mechanical and electronic devices. Can fix or unfix (depending on the situation and her inclination) virtually anything
Weaknesses: Thinks she's the smartest person in any given room and isn't shy about letting people know it. Often she's right. When she's wrong the negative results can be spectacular
Appearance: Nine inches tall, ten if you count the red puffball that is technically hair. Slim build, pale skin, violet eyes, sharp, pointy nose, sharp, pointy chin, sharp, pointy ears, sharp pointy elbows and isn't afraid to use them. Dragonfly wings, about five inches long. Dresses in camo overalls and biker boots, a utility belt with a variety of tools hanging off of it and a bandolier of shiny, explosive globes (See Weapons).
Weapons of Choice: The explosive globes on her bandolier (about six at any given time) which pack quite a punch for their size, about that of the more illegal firecrackers to be found. Up close, which she prefers not to get, she'll use the tools on her belt ( wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers) which, being fairy sized tend to cause flesh wounds at best to human sized opponents.
Items: Her tool belt which, besides what's listed under Weapons, contains pliers and various mechanical and electrical components. The pockets of her overalls contain a couple of extra explosive globes and a large supply of chewing gum of various flavors, chocolates and a eighth-pint of whiskey.
Fears: Being squished. She's well aware that she's a small and fragile being in a huge and uncaring world.
Likes: Whiskey, chewing gum, chocolate and riding on peoples heads. Yes, her wings work but why fly if you can ride? She in fact prefers to be paid in the first three, having little use for money.
Dislikes: Anything large enough to step on her or eat her.
Your Preferred Way To Die: Not at all! But if she has to, in a big, showy, Kaboom!

Special abilities: Is capable of absorbing any stone he can get his hands on into his body in order to increase his strength and durability
Weaknesses: Is fairly naive and not particularly smart, has a tendency to rush into things without thinking.
Appearance: 6 feet tall, made of ash-gray stone, golden eyes, prefers to wear a white sleeveless shirt and jeans.
Weapon of choice: prefers going bare-handed or using whatever he can get his hands on.
Items: A golden bracelet, a final gift from his creator before he passed.
Fears: Losing people, either to death or to pushing them away.
Likes: rock music, contact sports, a good fight, good company, small animals.
Dislikes: being alone, having secrets kept from him, being lied to, birds.
Your preferred way for them to die: Preferably something relatively peaceful, or with him making some kind of heroic sacrifice.

“Roger, I don’t know how, but an alternate timeline has been created from earth dimension 384.” The elderly Male these words were directed at nearly dropped the pen he was holding in surprise. “What...? How could that be? There hasn’t been a rupture anywhere near that universe since the dark ages!” The old man responded, obviously distraught over this recent news. “Suddenly there were massive energy readings and the entire dimension nearly collapsed. It’s barely being kept together by the alternate timeline established by this giant energy spike.” The brown haired man, surprisingly calmly, spoke back to him. Taking a few seconds to gather his thoughts, Roger Callahan, one of the sole denizens of a long forgotten pocket dimension and leader of the “Window Smashers” responded with a small, but important question. “Where did it originate?” The brown haired man grimaced slightly and answered. A small town in New York City....is it safe to assume we will send THEM in?” Roger thought for a moment before finally deciding, “Yes. Send in the window smashers.”
EXPOSITION
The window smashers are people from all over the multiverse who stop alternate timelines from destroying the main timeline by closing the “ruptures” they are born from and turning them into pocket dimensions that are capable of becoming main timelines that make more alternate timelines. This spreads them thin and creates a need for more Window Smashers so recruitment is underway. Their name comes from the fact that the multiverse can be seen as a house with invisible windows keeping people in one room from going to another, so they smash those windows and move from room to room.

- Name: Quite self explanatory
- Age: 18 or older please, though with a good backstory i’ll Accept as low as 16
- Species: you don’t have to be human, and can make your own race, if you do, however, you must be descriptive.
- Gender: Any gender will work.
- Special abilities: every window smasher has at least one special ability unique to them. Everything else is normal to their race.
- Weaknesses: Their Achilles Heel, all Window Smashers must have at least one.
- Appearance: Their unique appearance, please do not put this in you species description if you aren’t human.
