Oh I've watched it... I loved it. Going to make a recap soon
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Easily best anime of season (and yes, that include Vinland Saga).
And opening might be best thing in years even.

@Tenzen I'm just hoping the series won't go downhill but we'll see at a later time
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Don't dare jinx it!
OwO
Well, the series is so far so good tbh. Really need to detail the fantasy setting of the series. Hopefully it won't going downhill

"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Given that it's being written by Shoji "Full Metal Panic" Gatoh I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Saw the sponsors that also included Tokyo Marui and Shooting Bar EA.
Never imagined that the latter would be included to help consult with the production committee.
At least this wastes no time cutting to the chase, and gives us the essential information with minimal exposition. The dynamic between Kei and Tilarna isn't the most original so far but it's pretty entertaining nonetheless, especially with the Fish out of Water fantasy element thrown in.
Great opening too.
Funny detail, Kei is voiced by the yakuza brother in Sarazanmai.
Episode 2 is officially out, but I’m in Japan right now. I’ll have to catch up.
A buddy cop urban fantasy? Sign me in! The first two episodes were pretty fun.
Hmm, I've been liking this anime so far, especially with the whole urban fantasy theme.
And the OP is pretty cool. The first few seconds of it kinda remind me of the Cowboy Bebop one.
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself?I'd really like to hear more of that Semani conlang. It sounds really good. <3 And I liked the twist of Kei's name almost meaning "scary cat" in Semani.
We got some nice character moments in this episode.

Episode 2:
Have to admit the moment between Tiana with a cat is kind of sweet. And so the twist is that both of Kei's partner and the criminal who shot his partner were being controlled by someone and boy... He's intimidating as hell
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Can’t wait to see if Funi’ll do a take from Devil is a Part Timer.
I wouldn't call him intimidating. Deranged sure, but he strikes me as the type who'll fold like origami when thing stop going his way.
Episode 3. Lots of stuff happening… Maybe a bit too much? Some parts felt a little rushed and the action scenes looked like frames were missing at times… I don't know if that's a styllistic choice but it makes things confusing.
I liked the twist of the police chief being a traitor though. His motive was kinda resonant with a lot of far-right discourse (great replacement and all that). Replace "aliens" by "Muslims" and you got basically a National Rally speech.
Also, man I can't get enough of the Yoshioka Mayu's voice in the ending. <3
Traitor chief is pretty common occurence, so nothing particularly surprising, but let's see what replacement we get.

David Matranga and Felicia Angelle are Kei and Tirania as announced by Funi.
The latter is a funny actor allusion/cast gag to Devil is a Part Timer.

Well, this sure is a brisk pace.
Fuckboi slim put way more of a fight than I expected. But man, what a monster. A quick death is the least he deserves.
So the chief was a traitor and a paranoid racist. Not sure what he was even talking about. Do otherworlders have bigger fertility than humans?
Tirania seems to have some personal connection to the fairy.
From what I get they can travel to the human world, but not the other way round…
It's hard to say. It seems like Kei's unit when he was in the military actually saw action on the other side of the gate or whatever it is and the island that Santa Teresa is on was actually transported to Earth in its entirety.
Also I really hope this episode gets touched up for the home video release as there was way too much corner cutting, especially in the fight scenes.
Episode 3:
So Tilana manages to defeat the deranged trafficker dude who also revealed to be from her home and the police is revealed to be a traitor that has Konrad De Marbourg's way of thinking although he died at the end of the day? Okay. Seems that the red hat guy will become the Big Bad of the anime
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Episode 4… Boy is the first part rushed as hell. The first 5 minutes should obviously have been a full episode, no punch is left any time to land here.
I like the rest of the ep though. Tilarna unexpectedly being the "bad cop" of the duo and her bonding with Cecil by shitting on Kei were hilarious.
The action scenes were a bit less confusing than in episode 3, but there are still some corners cut here and there.
And now, zombie vampire mummies!
You know what. What honestly seems to have happened is that somethings gone wrong somewhere and the original episodes 3&4 had to be redone with the new episode 3 being all of the original episode 3 plus the first half of the original episode 4 while the new episode 4 is the second half of the original episode (which seems to have been mostly intact instead of needing to be re-animated) and the first half of what was originally supposed to be episode 5.
Still watching the first episode. Love the OP.
Here's the Cop Craft trope page.
