Ok, the role cake banners are the worst thing I have seen in this game. Paid gems only, regular odds, you only get the cake if you get the character.

No. Shiny Hoopa isn't even in Masters, and it neither connects to nor provides any mystery gift codes for the main series.

Oh I thought you got a shiny variant if you get enough copies.

No, the only shiny Pokemon in this game are either always shiny for a given pair (like Steven's Rayquaza), or egg mons.

Could have sworn Iris and Hydreigon is shiny if you 5 versions of her.

You know, Pokémon Masters is probably the first entry in the franchise which has made be question "Why don't you use your Pokémon to attack your target?" The fact that the heroes just let Giovanni go even though he has messed around several times because "Well, this plan failed, time to retreat" is just tiresome.

Ghetsis's reason for Enemy Mine made me chuckle. Man really is just a petty, awful man even when he's helping out.

Seems we're getting Hisuian starters.

I'm excited at the implication we might be getting more Legends and therefore Volo.

Somehow the game has five Giovannis, four of them using the same exact outfit. I honestly have to ask how.

a rock Ghost doesnt exist so I can forgive this, and I think the only rock dark type is ttar which isnt super halloweeny anyway. Plus its made of rocks so

I recall it was never confirmed if Akari and/or Rei were from the future, or if they were from an alternate timeline.

Also, Rei's comment on things looking familiar and his statement that he's only part of the survey core for now makes me think he's supposed to be the canon playable character, while Akari is from the past.

The end of the event story implies that Volo is already in Pasio (Giratina and Rei react to something, and you can briefly see Togepi running behind rubble). I feel like the next story arc might have to do with past vs. future (Legends Arceus, Scarlet and Violet, whatever Game Freak is cooking right now)
