Altar Diplomacy is very blurry.

Hammered into the Ground needs a quality upgrade.

Strikethrough doesn't appear to be working for me. Can you check my post and let me know what I did wrong?

I took care of the Animated Musical page. Still working on the rest of the JCA character pages that needs to be updated. Gonna try to find something for the Hey Arnold page, and Villainous, but, Crossover-Enthusiast, whats wrong with the felix the cat one? it looks pretty clear to me.

Edit: also swapped in the Pryde of the X-Men VHS cover and played around with the image size display there, and I think it looks OK now but the description kind of ends before the image is done so its not the best but i feel its better than going even smaller.

I swapped in an upgrade to the pic on Royal Brat, but it's kinda dark. If someone can brighten this◊ up by, say, 10% or 15% and resize it as a PNG, that might work better.

Tandem Parasite's image looks like a low-quality scan of the comic cover.

It also isn't potholed anywhere. Not sure if we have a good place to send it or not.

There's artifacting all over the characters and the words.

can you show me a cap of what it is? cause i'm looking at it and unsure where/how bad it is, i can still look for an alternate one but i'm having a harder time seeing this one :C

Camp Cook is very artifacted and poorly edited to fit in night vision. Already found◊ a quality upgrade, it just needs the transparency treatment.

I'm not really seeing the artifacting on the Felix pic, but the pic◊ on the movie's Wikipedia page gives a lot of larger versions when you do a by-image search in GIS that could be used to make a PNG from.

Leave the Camera Running's image looks blurry to me.

Also, the third panel has some unreadable subtitles, but they don't appear to be important to the image.

Yeah, I built that a long time back when we weren't as stringent about pic quality. The subtitle in the last panel is there as the establishing point of the silence between Rei and Asuka being broken, so it needs to be there; the panels just need to be upgraded with the timestamps inserted. I can take care of this later on, can't do it ATM.

I replaced the image on Felix the Cat: The Movie with a PNG and cropped out the white border. I also removed the caption which the caption repair thread agreed was bad.

Anyone else think this thread should be pinned?

I do, but we had a bit of a row about how many pinned threads there were a year or so back and I don't want that to start up again.

do you think we can have the thread linked somewhere else important?

that or, have it in your signature like Primis does for the transparent one? ...i'm still new to posting so i may be overlooking that maybe that'd take too much character space maybe?

Just an idea since pinning is not an option.

But anyway besides that, I'm trying to figure a pic for Evil Con Carne because I found a scene from the show that i thought would be suitable since it has the 3 main protagonists which i think is important considering how the show is never about a single one, but DRM is so awful my friend wasted $2 not being able to get a screencap

Interesting idea...I swapped out the link to the morgue in my sig for this thread.

I've made a quality upgrade to Leave the Camera Running, but I'm wondering if we need the middle panel...I'd included it originally to make it obvious that they stay where they are for that whole time, but now that pics don't go into examples, it's creating a lot of dead space in the description. Thoughts?

I suggested it since you're everywhere here and it might be helpful for others to see, so hopefully it works.

Personally, I do think it needs the middle panel, the beat helps hammer the example home in practice without being too long, i don't think it works the same way with the top and bottom with the only obvious thing being the clock change, because thats something you only notice once you get to the bottom and look over again and "oh" getting it, the way i experienced it. Its kinda frustrating though how the formatting does that to it. There any other way to remedy it a little? Since I really think it works best with the middle beat.
