So I've been an avid fanfiction reader for about 9 years now and I've gotten to the point where I've read most of the good fics in the fandoms I'm in(this includes most of the ones in the fic recs) And I was wondering if some of y'all could rec me some fics that are well written

I would prefer the fic be longer than 40k words and be one of these fandoms

-marvel -harry potter -star wars -doctor who -mortal instruments/shadow hunters

Im also open to new fandoms if the fic is good enough As long as its not anime

Here Are Some of my Fics

I've never really read fanfic as much as I do now. However, I don't know whether the fics I read I genuinely that good or what. I suspect it's just me trying to spend more time with my favourite fictional characters.

I can recommend Game of Thrones — there is so much of it that I wouldn't know where to start. Some of it needs to be good, though I most read crack fics and short kink memes for the lolz. But I guess there must be long fics from dedicated fanfic writers.

If you like your fan fic slashed, I can recommend Horatio Hornblower. Watch the miniseries if you haven't, it's excellent. And then if you like it, FanficRecs.Horatio Hornblower is at this point just my entry-pimping, lol, but most of my recommendations are short or one-off fics. One of them is a really long fic, though, and the author has one similarly long and just as good. I could recommend you several sites with links to lots of fics in that fandom — both long and short.
