Just watched that yesterday.
Nitro Rad does great reviews.
He's too cheesily-dramatic for me.
New review: Chameleon Twist 2. He reviewed the first one a couple of weeks ago.
New review: an indie horror game titled No Players Online.
I didn't actually watch this one, because the premise sounds interesting and I'd like to play it myself, first.
This made me realize that James is really good at making games that otherwise probably wouldn't catch my attention sound really interesting. There are still several videos of his that I haven't watched because of this. Those "mini-essays" he often does at the start of each video, about a topic relevant to the game are great for establishing atmosphere and it really sets him apart from other reviewers.
I just want to watch your videos, James, I wasn't looking to add to my already ridiculous backlog of games...
Haven't seen a thread for this yet, so I figured I'd start one myself.
Nitro Rad is Video Game Review Show on YouTube, hosted by James Lewell. He mostly focuses on platformers, RPG Maker games, and Survival Horror games. You can find the channel here.
I first started watching a few months ago when his Croc 2 review popped up in my recommendations. I really like his calm and generally upbeat approach to reviewing, as opposed to the usual whining and screaming over basically everything, which I've really grown to dislike.
Last year he did a retrospective of the 3D Super Mario games, starting with Super Mario 64, and just this past Halloween he did a retrospective on the Clock Tower series, starting with the first game.
His most recent video is a review of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes:
