I don't know if my attempts at writing Alternate History count, since they mention real people, but I'm uncertain if it would count as Real-Person Fic. (especially since one is an Alternate History of Henry VIII.
I was talking about celebrities. I had been trying to promote my fan-fictions. Another trope site was kind enough to open a page.
Most people consider Real Person fanfics creepy and invasive, which is why you shouldn't expect much activity in this thread.
I know, but you be surprise on much of audience they have in one site alone.
I have a sort-of RPF in the very early planning stages (as in I don't even know if I'll write it yet) where Ungern-Sternberg is the Big Bad and a Stand user. After reading up on the guy, I figure somebody that insane would make for a perfect JoJo villain.

I'm not into RPF works but they're very popular on other websites like AO 3. I wouldn't doubt more than a few tropers like them.
I used to be a slight Chenzel fan but I always feel embarrassed and awkward when I read RPF fics, even of those who died centuries ago. Historical domain characters are still a grey area.
Closest I've come to writing RPF are about The Protomen, who present themselves as characters within their own mythos so it's closer to Kay Fabe.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I did a Top Gear fanfic once, based off of Richard Hammond's line about a plasma-powered horse.
This would be focusing on Real-Person Fic (Celebrity Fic), which seems to be understated these days.
