Here's my form.

Identit(ies): Frost/Killer Frost/Caitlin Snow

Description: Cait is of average height with light skin and dark brown eyes. She wears her hair, which is dyed ash-blonde, in a pixie cut with wavy, sideswept bangs.

Personality: Unlike the Arrowverse!Caitlin, she is aloof and detached from most people, and has few close ties. Her heart is usually in the right place and she still has a strong desire to help people, but the tragedies she’s experienced in a short span of time have led her to be rather closed off emotionally. Although she has a deep capacity for empathy, it rarely shows because she’s become afraid of being hurt again. However, she is quite intelligent in her chosen field of psychology. She also typically goes by "Caity", rather than Caitlin. There is also no split in her personality- one trait more in line with comics!Killer Frost.

Abilities:

Cryokinesis- She has the ability to create icy blasts which can be fired from her hands or exhaled from her lungs.

Background: Her powers began manifesting when she was a college student studying psychiatry. She initially considered them a gift, and sought to use them to help people as best as she could. It was around this time that she reconnected with a close childhood friend, Francisco Ramon, who’d recently discovered he had powers of his own and adopted the identity of ‘Reverb’. He encouraged her to pursue her idea of using her powers for the benefit of society, and suggested the name ‘Frost’, which she quite liked. For five months, they grew much closer, until they became far more than just friends. Unfortunately, it did not last much longer. ‘Reverb’ was shot by a masked person on a night when he had taken Caitlin out for a walk. With no help in sight, Caitlin tried to use the ice she generated to close his wounds until the paramedics arrived, hoping that he wouldn’t die of blood loss.

However, this only made things worse, and Francisco died before the paramedics could help. By then, the masked man was gone.

Though the murderer was eventually caught, some of Cait’s classmates suspected that everything had been a front- that she’d planned Francisco’s death, or even orchestrated it herself. She tried to struggle through the rest of her semester, but eventually, even with the knowledge that she was innocent, it became too much to handle. She began to blame herself for Francisco’s death, and took the name ‘Killer Frost’ for her ‘heroic’ alter ego. She dropped out of college, and took up a life of wandering from place to place- still using her powers to help wherever she could, but ultimately leaving before anyone could discover what she’d done- still desperately trying to do some sort of good.

Eventually, on one of her stops, she found a strange, cracked bracelet...

Reality Notes: Essentially a not-quite Mirror Universe- most characters who are villains or anti-villains are at least considerably more heroic than their canon characters, and vice versa. The setting is very similar to 1980s America, albeit with more modern technology. In this reality, metahumans were discovered in the 1950s, although the reason for their existence is still a mystery to scientists. As previously mentioned, it is at least partially Arrowverse-esque.

Hey Liz I would like to requesting doing a swap with Lara for Kara.

I like Lara as a character. But I think Kara has the better fan art and she fits much more the tone of the game . I was hoping I could still change characters seizing the game is still early stages.

  • Name :Supergirl
  • Real Name: Kara Zor-El/Kara Kent
  • Gender: Female
  • Age :Teenager "
  • Appearance: As Supergirl Civilian
  • Alignment : Good
  • Personality: Kara is a decent person if a bit immature and impulsive. She wants to do good and save other people. She struggles to become as good as her cousin Superman, yet find her own place in a foreign new world. However, her greatest advantage of Superman is that she is less of an ideal to aspire like he is and more of a woman that aspires to be that ideal of hope. She has an an interest besides being a superhero, and she is a typical teenager.
  • Powers and Abilities:
    • Heat vision: Her eyes create heat beams that can melt steel.
  • X-ray Vision: She can see through any solid object, except lead.
  • Super breath/freeze breath: She is able to push objects with a wind coming from her lungs or even freeze objects, with a lot of effort.
  • Super hearing: She can hear conversations from very far, and some frequencies too low for normal humans-
  • Super speed: Not as fast as the flash, nor as precise. But she can move fast enough to dodge a bullet at least and seem like a blur or the naked eye.
  • Superhuman durability: She is not invincible. And in fact,t she is a bit weaker than her cousin because her body hasn’t absorbed as much solar radiation. Although her skin is bulletproof, explosive things like rocket launchers, bombs and high levels of electricity would harm her.
  • Superhuman strength : Also not as strong as Superman, as her body is still absorbing solar energy. She is not silver ages of strength. Not by far. But she could lift a 6 axel truck more less as her upper limit.
  • Flight: The ability to defy gravity and move through the air.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Magic: It affects her like anybody else
    • Kryptonite in all it's forms. Green weakness her, removes her powers and would eventually kill her. Blue renders her powerless.
    • Red sun radiation: It renders her normal

  • Backstory.

Zor-el, Supergirl's father, didn’t believe the warnings of Jor-el about krypton’s incoming doom or the so-called prophecy of rao that also called the end of Krypton. However, as the scientist, he was, even he couldn’t ignore the sight of the Heral of Galactus passing on a galaxy nearby from his telescopes. Would Galactus consume Krypton? He wouldn’t risk his only daughter to find out.

Kara Zor-El was a little girl and a babysitter for baby Kal-el. She was taken to Earth via experimental Zeta beam technology. However, due to the fact, Zor-El rushed the process, they all ended up in the North Pole. Allura in ze and Zor-el didn’t survive the trip, but Kara did freeze in a Kryptonian crystal that saved her life. Her time being frozen explains why she is still a teenager, despite being born before Kal-El“

Young Kara was found by explorer Dr. Virgil Swann. She was amnesic because Zor-El had suppressed her memories and her powers with a blue kryptonite bracelet in an effort for her to live on earth as a normal human.

Nevertheless, her powers did manifest, and she ended up joining the X-men for a while, going under the moniker of “Ultra-girl” for a while. During this period she believed herself to be a mutant and as such suffered from the usual hate and prejudice of being one.

One day, Jean Grey of the X-men, helped her unlock her memories on the city of Argo on Krypton. This prompted her to start her career as Supergirl. In honor of her more popular cousin, she has yet to meet.

One day while exploring the remnants of the spaceship that brought her to earth she found the mysterious bracelet that transported everyone.

Differences from Canon

Kara lived as powerless as a human for a time and also worked with the X-men once discovered her powers before she learned of her true heritage as Superman's cousin.

Hopefully my sheet works considering that I'm making a clone of an already existing character.

  • Identit(ies): Psyren (Real Name: Kannon)
  • Description: "Sometimes a copy can be distinct from the original."
  • Personality: Earnest and happy-go-lucky, Psyren prefers to be a good person as much as she can be by doing things in the vein of helping old ladies across the street or rescuing cats from trees. She enjoys the simpler things in life and generally remains rather upbeat about things, though her sense of justice also ensures that she can't simply turn a blind eye to any noticed crime in her vicinity.
    • That said, her methods of vigilantism often involves being a ninja and sneaking around to stalk her potential targets before attacking sneakily to simply things in an efficient manner so she's not quite as gullible as one might think. When needed, she also won't hesitate to take lives if it is necessary but usually it's meant more to be a last resort. Also likes to tease and snark around with the best of them despite her do-gooder status and can be a bit of a handful for the more straight-laced folks. Definitely a half-glass full sort of gal that looks more towards the possible future than get stuck in the past that's already happened.
  • Abilities: Psyren is a master martial artist, trained in the ways of K'un-Lun's special techniques as well as potently versed in more regular Earth martial arts up to but not limited to Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Savate, Krav Maga, Karate, Boxing, Aikido, Pankration, and Ninjutsu. She's also excellent with various melee and ranged martial arts weapons (but not firearms), most notably the katana and the yumi bow. Psyren also has various other skills such as multilingualism, yoga tier flexibility, advanced acrobatics, in-depth knowledge of human anatomy/pressure points, peak human conditioning, ninja-tier sneaking/tracking proficiency, artistic and culinary talent, and passing familiarity on how to operate various mundane vehicles like cars and motorcycles.
    • Being a clone of the original Revanche created discreetly by the Hand after the host body was inhabited by Betsy Braddock's mental self, she has strong psychic potential that's more powerful than the regular untapped Kwannon but a lot less potent than Psylocke after she activated her full possibilities. She has access to the physical psionic manifestations that her genetic donor is known for using, with the main form being the psionic arm blade though it can also shift into other forms such as a bow and arrow, a katana, lasso, or even ninja scarf. They can either perform actual physical damage to the point of being able to cut through a thick layer of steel or inflict mental damage should she strike someone's head with the shaped energies. Even unshaped, they can be put to good use in the form of repelling force either as concussive blasts or as an impromptu forcefield surrounding her hands.
    • Psyren has more limited telekinetic powers compared to the likes of Jean Grey or Psylocke, only being able to affect her own body. She uses this in creative ways such as lightening her overall gravitational field so she can jump farther and higher as well as lend directed force to her blows to fight on par with more physically strong foes like Sabretooth or puppet her human frame around in order to keep up with inhumanly quick foes.
    • Psyren possesses passive telepathic capabilities that shields her mind and intent from other telepaths unless they're hellbent on reading through her, as well as somewhat masking her overall presence to make it more easily for people to not pay attention to her. She lacks the means to do more advanced things like causing outright amnesia as well as project herself away from her body or read people's minds or have precognitive dreams. She can't even communicate with other people without moving her mouth though she can at least have supernatural empathy to know what sort of feelings they're having as well as note people's 'imprints' that lets her figure out who's who without hearing/seeing them.
    • Chi Augmentation- The thing that separates her from most distinctively from Psylocke is that she has unlocked the method to channeling her natural bio-energy via training in K'un-Lun for ten years. With her level of mastery though she isn't at outright Iron Fist level, she has fine control over her own body to the point of being able to pass lie detector tests without batting an eye, deaden her sense of pain, resist drugs/poisons, slow/accelerate her heartbeats, improve her senses to the peak of human levels, speed up rate of healing, and slow down the effects of aging. Psyren uses her chi abilities to augment her psychic abilities in order to stay calm and collected even in stressful situations, wringing out more bang for her buck by utilizing the adage of 'a healthy body begets a healthy mind'.
    • Psiron Fist- Psyren's self-made technique by combining both psychic energies and chi to engulf her hand to copy the eponymous Iron Fist. Besides the fact that it looks purple instead of gold, it does the same thing the Iron Fist in turning that part of her body strong and enduring enough to blow apart armored vehicles, rip steel, catch blades with her bare hands, or slug things out with Colossus tier superhumans. The drawback of using the technique is that a few seconds is enough to leave her drastically drained afterwards and using it for too long would outright knock her out into a coma.
  • Background: Kannon is much like that of the canonical clone characters in-so much as she was created in secret without the donors knowing of her very existence until much later on in an event with liberal amounts of violence ends up sparking a confrontation. Her origin was begot when the Hand used the ritual to resurrect Psylocke and Kannon by swapping their mental minds with each other succeeded, with DNA being taken from the Asian body to be sent to various villains that had the magic and/or technology to culminate in the ability to craft potential batches of artificial psychically gifted assassins.
    • Sadly this being comics meant that such a process tended to end in failure more often than not, with success only coming much later on. Being the 108th clone to come into production and being the only one of the few to survive the process, Kannon was then born with lingering memories and skills from both hero and villain before being thrust into the harsh training of the Hand to make her better than her progenitor due to her overall malleability.
    • After surviving the rather inhumane process and coming out sufficiently 'polished', the Hand then tried to do a field test along with her sister units by sending them off with more experienced members on missions around the world where Kannon whetted her blades with the blood of the organization's enemies, the Chaste as well as various other contenders that went against their interests. Eventually though, her life of constant bloodshed was interrupted when a scouting mission in the Kunlun mountain range by an invasive detachment notified by certain traitors from that hidden city was suddenly overcome by a sudden avalanche. Being swept away by nature's fury, the clone barely survived and was soon found by natives after she entered through the dimensional nexus that had conveniently opened during the event that wiped out her handlers.
    • Temporarily suffering from limited amnesia due to the trauma and concussive damage suffered, the groggy woman with no past was nursed back to health by the people of the city. Finding that she had what was believed talent in the martial arts and mimicking the movements from the training sessions hosted by the Thunderer's conditioning of K'un-Lun's male population, Kannon soon began to follow along until she was officially taken under the man to be a pupil after he saw her stubborn and child-like earnestness. Though harshly taught, it was still 'eerily similar' to the girl and akin to retracing her steps. Ten years then passed before the portal was reopened to the outside world and Kannon declined the offer to be a permanent resident so as to figure out her true identity.
    • Reappearing back on the map and wandering throughout the world while using her talents to make coin and learn about the outside world, it didn't take long before she was confronted by the X-Men who had shown up through Cerebro's help, they she was then met by a surprised Psylocke who took in the woman to Xavier's mansion to figure out why she had a clone come out of nowhere.
    • With Xavier, Jean, and Psylocke's help in piecing together her fragmented memories, Kannon then suddenly figured out everything before biding her time and then fleeing from the school grounds in the dead of night with her newly learned self-cloaking ability so as to avoid detection and so as to not live in the shadow of her original. Continuing her vagrant lifestyle, the optimistic clone then came up with her own take on things to figure out what she wanted to be.
  • Reality Notes: Psylocke had a number of clones much like how Wolverine had X-23 and the Sisters or how Spider-Man got various copies of himself running around courtesy of the Jackal. One of the few surviving clones got trained in K'un-Lun before returning back to the regular world though there's a few more 'conditioned' versions that couldn't escape the Hand's grip lurking about as potential nemeses.

  • Identit(ies): X-23
  • Description: Here
  • Personality:
    • Raised since birth as a deadly assassin, X-23's personality has been all but erased by The Facility, the secret group responsible for her creation. As a direct result of this, she is incapable of expressing or understanding human emotions, although she is able to fake them for short periods should the situation require it. In normal conversation, she also has no understanding of tact, and has a noted tendency to default to blunt honesty when addressed. Beyond this, she has the mind of a trained killer, which manifests in ways such as her mind instantly calculating at least a dozen different methods of killing anyone in any given room she steps into, and she can quickly and accurately evaluate any given target for strengths and weaknesses.
    • X-23 also has virtually no understanding of morality, and as such is perfectly willing to do anything necessary to complete a mission, up to and including torture and murder. She is also noted to have a non-existent sense of self-worth, stemming from viewing herself as nothing more then a weapon and a disposable clone. In the rare event that she allows her suppressed emotions to surface, this tends to manifest as severe depression and a major death seeker attitude, where she will throw herself into certain death situations should she determine it necessary.
  • Abilities:
    • Superhuman Senses:X-23 possesses superhuman senses due to her mutant powers. She is capable of seeing at much greater distances, and with better clarity, than an ordinary human. She retains this same level of clarity in near-total darkness. Her sense of hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing her to both hear sounds that ordinary humans can't and to hear sounds that ordinary humans can, but at much greater distances. X-23 is able to use her highly developed sense of smell to track targets by scent with an impressive degree of success, even if the scent has been eroded by natural factors, such as the weather.
    • Bone Claws:X-23 has several bone claws in her body that have been coated in Adamantium. She has two claws in each hand, and an additional claw in each of her feet.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor:Like Wolverine, X-23's primary mutant power is an accelerated healing factor that enables her to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. This power functions at a faster rate then Wolverine due to the lack of a complete Adamantium skeleton. She is capable of fully healing injuries resulting in massive tissue damage and blood loss such as multiple bullet wounds, slash wounds, and puncture wounds within a matter of minutes. Her healing factor is developed to such a degree, she is capable of reattaching severed limbs, such as a hand. She has also been shown to be capable of regrowing an entire arm on her own. Her healing factor may fluctuate with her psychological state as battle wounds tend to heal very quickly, but her self inflicted cuts appear to remain visible for some time.
    • Poison Immunity:Due to her healing factor, X-23 is effectively immune to all natural earth diseases, as well as most forms of poisons and drugs. Some drugs, such as tranquilizers, can still effect her if used in sufficiently high doses.
    • Superhuman Stamina, Agility, Reflexes, and Durability:Most of this is self explanatory. Of note, while her bones are more durable then the norm, they are not coated in Adamantium, and are thus still able to be broken or otherwise crippled. While this will heal due to the healing factor, such an event is quite able to take her out of a fight depending on severity of the wound. She is also able to lift up to about 800 pounds on her own.
    • Longevity:More implied then anything else, but it is assumed that due to her healing factor functioning the same as Wolverine, she will at some point stop ageing. Not something that's likely to come up, but throwing that out there.
    • Covert Ops Training: Raised in captivity, due to her extensive training as a top-secret operative, X-23 has been trained to become a living weapon. She is highly trained in the use of long range weapons and explosives, and is an expert in assassination techniques.
    • Master Martial Artist:X-23 is a master in hand to hand combatant, with intensive training in numerous armed and unarmed martial arts techniques do to her being raised by The Facility
    • Master Acrobat:X-23 is an Olympic class athlete, gymnast, acrobat and aerialist capable of numerous complex maneuvers and feats which she uses in combat.
    • Multilingual: X-23 can speak fluent English, French, and Japanese, and possibly other languages as well.
    • Trigger Scent:Due to mental conditioning, X-23 is susceptible to what is known as a "Trigger Scent", a particular chemical combination that will, when sprayed on a target, cause her to relentlessly attack and attempt to rip the target into quite literal shreds, as well as anyone who might attempt to interfere with this act. Her eyes turn red when under the effects of the trigger scent.
  • Background:
    • X-23 was the 23rd in a line of clones made with the intent to clone the mutant known as Wolverine for the purposes of replicating the Weapon X program on a conditioned subject. However, the sample obtained was damaged, mostly in the Y chromosome. In an attempt to get around this problem, the Facility made their 23rd clone a female clone as opposed to a male clone, with the main creator head scientist, Sarah Kinney, using her own material to fill in the remaining gaps.
    • From birth, X-23 was raised with the sole intent to be a remorseless and efficient killer. Any signs of humanity, mercy, pity, or emotion were forcibly stamped out of her via various methods of torture. At one point she was forcibly tossed into a radiation chamber to prematurely activate her mutant powers. After that, her new bone claws were cut out of her body and coated with Adamantium, anesthetics being considered optional and not used. By the age of 7, she had killed her first person. At 10, she began to be deployed into combat situations around the globe, used as a hired killer by The Facility for the highest bidder. The head scientist, Sarah Kinney, attempted without much success to preserve whatever humanity might have remained in the girl as she grew up.
  • Reality Notes: So the idea here is that I have intentionally went back to X-23's roots, so to speak. I want to see how the events of the game shape her as a character naturally, while basically ignoring what she actually ends up as in canon. She has not, in this incarnation, had any major interactions with any named heroes, villains (Beyond the ones who made her), or groups in the Marvel universe.

Also yes, I am aware there is already an X-23 in the game and am fully prepared for the shenangens that will result.

  • Identities: Gojira, Godzilla, G, Big G, and so on and so forth.
  • Description: I think you probably know what he looks like. That is, it's Godzilla, but about 7'0" instead of being measured in stories. He totally can wear clothing, and does when not on the job but "Godzilla in a suit" is harder to find than you might expect.
  • Personality: A grumpy asshole. His entry into this world was bad enough, he was ornery from the beginning, but years upon years of violent interaction with pretty much everyone except his kids means that he's a jaded, world-weary jerk who spurns others. He really just wants to be left alone...or, at least, to be able to live peacefully. Despite all of that, he still ends up helping people. He won't say that he was trying to serve anyone but himself, but whether he realizes it or not, he still ends up helping civilization more often than not. He can get kind of angry sometimes. It's hard to stop him when he gets this way.
  • Abilities:
    • Atomic Breath: Godzilla is able to breath a concentrated beam of nuclear energy, drawn from his atom heart. This is a very long reaching beam that is extremely good at setting things on fire and vaporizing them if held in place for long enough. It's difficult to aim, even with 60+ years of practice under his belt, though. Additionally, it's nuclear, and that means radiation. It doesn't impart too much with just a single burst, but continual usage in the same area can cause problems for people who aren't radiation immune.
      • ''Atomic Flight'': If he angles his breath just right, and can keep it going for a long time, he can...kind of glide along the ground at a fast speed, in a completely straight line. This does have the side effect of almost certainly draining his energy faster than anything else, and being not very useful at all, but it's still a thing he can do.
    • Atomic Pulse: With a flash of heat and bright light, Godzilla can eject a brief pulse of energy from within himself. This scalds and dazzles those that are directly near him, but it can only reach out a little past his own arm's length. On top of that, it damages himself a decent amount, but takes less energy than a shot of his breath.
    • Nuclear Metabolism: His ability to freely burn down cities and just roflstomp people with his atomic abilities is limited by the fact that his heart is, in pretty much every way, a nuclear reactor. Using his atomic breath for any extended period of time can leave him in a catatonic state for a decently long period of time, and even small amounts of usage leave him drained and sluggish. Alternatively, if Godzilla repeatedly and regularly uses his arsenal over extended periods, he runs the risk of doing the opposite and going into meltdown...which is very literal. Once he achieves this state, he'll slowly gain passive heat until his heart goes critical, and eventually melts down into a pile of highly radioactive molten slag. There's withing the bounds of human possibility that can stop this, only contain it. Godzilla will die if this happens.
    • Super Strength: He's strong. Whatever limit you, the GM, are fine with when considering the rest of his broken abilities, I'll edit in. Otherwise, his tail's a weapon of its own right that's able to break bones, and he did learn a few martial arts moves...close to 40 years ago. Very rusty, but you never know if he's gonna pull out a drop kick anyway.
    • Really, Really Difficult to Kill: He's superhumanly durable, and can regenerate. Yes, bullets can hurt him, but just not very much. You're going to need heavier munitions to actually do anything to his big keloid-scarred hide. Similar to the above power, I'll let you decide the upper-bound of how high the regeneration goes. In at least one film, it's up there with the more ridiculous interpretations of Wolverine in how much it can heal.
    • VW Schwimwagen: Godzilla can submerse himself underwater and swim with much greater speed than he can walk, diving to incredible depths and holding his breath for seemingly unending amounts of time. This is pretty good, because...
    • heem sleepy: He sleeps a lot. The absolute most efficient way for him to recharge his energy is with a very deep, almost unshakeable sleep. You could legitimately drop bombs next to him while he sleeps and it wouldn't wake him up without a direct hit. It's a good thing he prefers to sleep at the bottom of the ocean, because otherwise anyone could grab him and run off with his fat ass in tow.
    • heem slow: He can run...in short bursts. Most of the time, he honestly can't do more than menacingly stomp towards his target. His athleticism is directly tied to how much energy he has left, and going all out on speed actually drains him further.
  • Backstory: It's been well over 60 years. Virtually everything on Earth, and then some, has tried to kill him by now. And, yet, Godzilla endures. From his beginnings as the terror of Tokyo, burning down half the city in a confused atomic rage, to becoming the unwitting hero of not only Japan but the whole world, he's certainly gone places. There's definitely a little lee-way on how exactly everything started, and how everyone sees him, but Goji has remained the same in a lot of ways. He finds the other such "monsters" that start shit in the alleyways of metropolitan Japanese cities and remote mountainside wilderness, beats them to death, and then walks back into seclusion. He prefers he'd be left alone.
    • Though, public opinion of him is a lot more fluid. In his early days he would be considered a walking disaster on a scale unlike any other. Full military responses, people running and screaming at the sight of him, the works. Then, after a string of successfully killing many other things like him from other worlds, he began to be a hero in humanity's eyes. This kind of came to a head in the 70s, where he legitimately was the kind of superhero that kids wrote fan letters to. The Big G was even able to integrate into normal society for about a decade there!
      • As I said, though, public opinion is a very finicky thing. Sometimes he'd go back to being a horriffic monster that's just as hated as whatever other one he's out to beat the shit out of that week, sometimes he'd be the dreaded last hope of humanity against an unsurmountable force. Godzilla doesn't really care, though. Things remain the same for him: walk into town, kill monster, go back and go to sleep.
  • Reality Notes: Essentially, an amalgamation of most films within his canon, but shrunk down to a more reasonable size and reinterpreted as the long-running adventures of a certain kaiju that the writers just can't decide the backstory and morality of.

Well, this is certainly a hell of a pair. Wikkit, regarding your note on strength, let's start with Thing-level strength and see where we go from there. The rest of his abilities are more than enough to make him the Incredible Hulk of his world.

With that said, Accepted, both of you.

  • Identit(ies): James “Rhodey” Rhodes, aka Agent War Machine.
  • Description:
  • Personality: If you had to describe Rhodey in a word, it would be “cautious”. Rhodey is frequently the voice of reason, caution, and deferring to authority. But every man has his limits, and if it comes to a point where working within the rules isn’t cutting it, he’s not afraid to work outside of them. He takes his duty and responsibility as War Machine seriously, knowing that even a single slip up could put him and everyone around him in danger. It’s a weapon, and a weapon needs to be controlled. But that hasn’t stopped him in developing a little bit of pride in being the War Machine. You take things seriously and still have fun at the same time. He’s finally stepped over to the other side, finally able to create his own superpowered war stories, like the thousands he’s heard and seen with his own eyes. And he likes it.
    • The War Machine, meanwhile, is a more simple matter. Like all Eidolon, it has two priorities: survival, and assisting it’s host. While most Eidolon go about the first on a large, altruistic scale, War Machine focuses on itself. Prior hosts have warped it to be selfish, brutal, and bloodthirsty. Death and destruction are always the solution to the host’s problems, almost as if the War Machine craves it. It will clash with Rhodey over the best course of action, and try and influence him into doing things it’s way. However, just surviving isn’t living. While Rhodey and Eddie are both intelligent men, the intelligence and consciousness of an Eidolon is proportional to that of it’s host. Thus, the War Machine will always be chasing the high it got when Tony Stark was it’s host.
  • Abilities:
    • Rhodey:
      • Military Training: Rhodey was a member of the US Air Force, and has been trained with both firearms and hand-to-hand combat. He is also an expert pilot, specialising in fixed-wing aircraft, though he is capable of piloting helicopters.
      • Engineering Capable: He graduated MIT with a degree in aviation engineering, and has spent the last decade working with Tony Stark, which would rub off on anybody.
    • War Machine:
      • Eidolon Physiology: Beneath everything, an Eidolon is a mass of circuitry and wires, capable of incorporating any other technology or weapon into it’s being by extending it’s wiring and attaching the device to itself. This has a short range, roughly five inches or so. It’s control over it’s appendages comes from a mild electric charge, and as a result it can be disrupted by electrical attacks, strong magnetic forces, and electromagnetic pulses. This will cause deterioration in the integrity of the suit, effectively causing bits of it to come loose and fall off. While it relies on Rhodey to bolster it’s intelligence, it can act without him inside, though it will be reduced to it’s instinct and bloodthirsty nature.
      • Weapons: While the War Machine has assimilated many weapons over the years, the CIA decided to reduce it to the basics in order to keep it under control. As a result, it is armed with two (2) repulsor pads in each palm and two (2) in each sole. These are projected energy weapons that fire blasts of concussive force. At low levels, they throw humans across rooms, at high levels they can crack concrete. The chest-mounted Unibeam is a more powerful version of the repulsor, requiring several seconds of charging time, but capable of tearing non-armoured vehicles asunder and severely denting tank armour. Also mounted in the chest are two (2) miniature anti-tank missiles, to be used sparingly as there is no extra ammo. Mounted on the forearms are a pair (2) of 5.56mm assault rifles, one in each arm. Finally, mounted on the back is a 7.62mm Minigun, capable of firing independently in a 360-degree arc and moving on a rail from either shoulder.
      • Defenses: Apart from the fact that it’s mostly made of Titanium, it has been equipped with two (2) hip-mounted infrared flare launchers, and a Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS) to assist in not being shot down by Anti-Air Missiles.
      • Misc: Thanks to the repulsors, the War Machine is capable of supersonic flight (though this naturally requires several miles worth of acceleration space, so unless you’ve got a long tunnel, he’s not doing that indoors). It also has the ability to communicate using radio signals, has a speaker system to broadcast Rhodey’s words out of the suit, and has several hours worth of oxygen supply in case of sudden loss of breathable air (the repulsors capable of both aquatic and extra-atmospheric propulsion). It can also '''fold down into a pair of bulky bionic legs in case Rhodey needs to operate incognito.
  • Background:
    • Rhodey was born into a family that had served in the military for several generations, and he was no different, He joined the Air Force after earning a degree in aviation engineering, and served as a fighter pilot for several years. However, when the Air Force found out that Tony Stark was an old college buddy of Rhodey’s, they reassigned him to being the Air Force’s liaison with Stark Industries. Over the years, Rhodey has been a faithful ally and confidant to Tony, even going beyond his orders and rendering him assistance on occasion. However, despite Tony’s frequent offers, Rhodey never took up a suit of his own. When Tony Stark went public as Iron Man, Rhodey was told that the US Military could not be seen sponsoring or assisting him in his heroic endeavours, for fear of international backlash. Similarly, once the Avengers were founded and Rhodey assigned as their liaison, Rhodey was ordered never to interfere or assist in their efforts. Despite this, he made efforts to assist them covertly while keeping up a facade of plausible deniability. This facade was shattered in the fifteenth or so alien invasion of Earth, when Rhodey commandeered a fighter plane from the SHIELD Helicarrier and provided air support to the Avengers. He was subsequently shot down in the battle, and in the crash had both legs severed mid-thigh. Despite his going AWOL, he was awarded the Purple Heart and honorably discharged for his efforts. Or so the world was told. Instead, Rhodey was transferred to a CIA Black Project. They’d recently come into possession of the Eidolon known as War Machine, and wanted to put it to use. As the only member of the US Military with extensive experience dealing with the War Machine, he was asked to become it’s new host in order to act as a single-man special operations team. Rhodey could hardly refuse, but due to the nature of Project War Machine, has yet to be able to tell Tony about this development.
    • The War Machine is a technological alien being known as Eidolon. The Eidolon were created by the dark god Knull, to use as a weapon against the rest of the universe. However, his connection to the race was accidentally severed by Thor while in combat with an Eidolon. As a result, what was once a hive-mind became a race of individuals, and as many of these Eidolon had bonded with honorable individuals, gained notions of honor and nobility themselves. They turned against Knull, imprisoning him in a mass of Eidolon, which later became their home planet. Over the millennia, they made a name for themselves as an honorable and noble race, known for righting wrongs and defending the innocent, bonding only to the most worthy of hosts. This also served a practical purpose: an Eidolon on it’s own has limited computing power, and needs the almost limitless potential of a living brain to operate on more than basic instinct. This, however, leaves Eidolon vulnerable to the mental states of their hosts. A good man makes a good Eidolon, while an evil man creates an evil one. So when an already mildly corrupted Eidolon ended up trapped on Battleworld (not that one), and the only host in sight was a certain mercenary with a mouth, things did not go well for the War Machine. Deadpool later broke free and entrapped it in a workshop which would later be discovered by Iron Man. With his armour severely damaged and most of a war still left to fight, Tony took it as good fortune when the Eidolon took the broken pieces of his armour and reconstituted them into a new suit. (He was drunk at the time. And for most of his tenure as War Machine. An alien suit that does the fighting for you? Perfect way to escape responsibility.) Once back on Earth, Tony continued to use the War Machine armour, though not without studying it. So when it became more and more brutal, more and more bloodthirsty, Tony was ready, and used multiple EMP blasts and electricity to separate it from his body. He would've destroyed the War Machine there and then, had it not been for Eddie Brock. Eddie Brock had been an investigative reporter with the lead of a lifetime: he suspected Tony Stark was actually Iron Man. Brock spent multiple years gathering evidence, rooting out leads, and piecing together a timeline, all for the article that he was sure would win him the Pulitzer. And a week before he went to publication, Tony Stark just up and admitted that he was Iron Man. Brock’s life was ruined. He took to drinking, his wife left him, and eventually the Daily Bugle fired him. That night, he’d snuck into Tony Stark’s villa with a gun, unsure of whether he was going to shoot Stark, himself, or both. The Eidolon, in it’s animalistic state, searched for a host and found Brock. Since then, War Machine has been Iron Man’s fiercest enemy, a war that ultimately culminated with Brock being stripped of the suit, thrown into jail, and the suit coming into possession of the CIA.
  • Reality Notes: Broadly similar to mainstream Marvel, though incorporating some of the MCU’s history and characterization of Rhodey. The big swap around is that the Eidolon have replaced the Klyntar, and thus War Machine and Carnage (still Cletus Kassidy, though he has a penchant for biohacking as well as serial killing) are Iron Man villains. What of Venom? Well, he’s Flash Thompson of course, and has always been a hero. He got his powers after Peter gave him a concoction that attempted to replicate the effects of the spider-bite, specifically the physical alterations, as Flash had been rendered paraplegic in his service in Afghanistan. The fact that it gave him spider-powers despite Peter’s best efforts is the reason why he doesn’t sell said formula and get rich.

Interesting premise for a world there. All the bold text might be a bit gratuitous, but it's just what my tired brain needs right now. On the whole, Accepted. Let's see how badly this throws the current plot out of balance...
