This trope seems to be a The Same, but More Specific trope of Parental Favoritism where two parents prefer a different child. I'm not sure why we could use this trope (and it looks like the wicks agree) when we have Parental Favoritism. Taking a look at the examples and they aren't really that different that what could just fit with the more popular trope. Not sure if we should cut or just do a better job of putting on the other pages.

It seems like a sub-trope of Parental Favoritism. This is when one child is favored by the father and the other is favored by the mother.

I'm not sure how it isn't thriving when it has 50 wicks and over 1,000 inbounds. While there are 26 examples on the page, I'm not sure if that's really indicative of it "not thriving."

Moreover, I don't see how it's a duplicate of PF. I don't think merging or cutting is really called for here.

All that said, I think we could cut the redirect "His And Hers Kids" as it doesn't really make sense (and is an artifact of when anyone could make a redirect).
