That's a weird premise. We aren't going to do it without overwhelming consensus, so the immediate answer is that the question is pointless.

I've seen some tropers talking about wanting YMMV tropes to be removed because of all the gushing and bashing, or at the very least (I think) the awesome, funny, etc. moments to go.
If that actually happened how would it impact the site?
