It's a full-length series instead of shorts, surprisingly enough. And it has all the cute yuri ramen goodness you'd expect from the premise. Yuu is the kind of girl whom I'd probably tell to leave me the fuck alone in real life, but thankfully this is an anime, so she's a ton of fun. Visually, this is pretty solid − especially the pivotal ramen-eating sequences, obviously.
Now it'll all be down to how much the series can renew itself from that rather… restrictive premise.
I too will repost my comment:
The first episode was frankly incredibly boring and draged on immesenly. Like, at one point I checked the timer expecting like minute or two left, only to discover it's less than halfway through. None of the characters are particularly likable or interesting, and there's little to no plot, only some ramen trivia. It's basically Dagashi Kashi, but for ramen, and withouth any charm or humor. I'll still give it one more episode, to see if it gets better, but so far, not looking good
Episode 2 was a bit more… plot-heavy…? if you can call it that. Pretty funny that Yuu's two pals actually hit it off with Koizumi before she did. X) Misa's a bit annoying when she's not eating ramen though. Also, while there's a bit less ramen in this episode, they upped the porn another notch.
If you hated episode 1, you'll probably hate this one too, but to me it was fine. One thing I can definitely agree on is that it should have been shorts though.
…Huh, okay, scratch what I just said.

Episode 2 was indeed a lot better than episode 1, and I can already see why. This series is a lot better when Yuu isn't the viewpoint character.
Also, I like the subtext that Koizumi isn't totally antisocial, she just genuinely finds Yuu annoying.
…Well, turns out the quickest way to Koizumi's heart was through her stomach. Or rather, her "stomachs", because I don't know how many she has to gulp down 4 or 5 bowls of ramen… I normally barely have enough room for one…
Yeah, Yuu friends raise some good points. Really, Yuu comes as really obsessive about Koizumi.
Do restaurants like that one really exist?
Also, no healthy person would collapse from missing one or two meals.

From what we've seen, it may very well not be hunger but withdrawal… Though withdrawal doesn't do that either…
I have to say that "Miss Koizumi is a Ramen Junkie" does not sound anywhere near as pleasant.
Episode 4:
Yuu really is a stalker. Shouldn't be surprised tho.
A fancy restaurant has a small shop set in the back? Sounds brilliant tbh.
Seems Koizumi love for ramen is spreading.
All those people in the store watching.... I would ask if watching people eat ramen is so interesting, but then again here I am. And hungry.
Would it be silly to say the manga's better?
If only because you can skip over all the token moe and go right to the ramen. I feel like the manga exists because the author likes food more than girls, but had to include the girls to highlight the food.
... the characters are just as flat, though.
Yuu really is a stalker, and not very bright either.
Is there anything that can't be put in Ramen? Even algae.
I dunno, wouldn't that turn it into Kodoku no Gourmet, except with women?
Breakfast ramen, chilled ramen, german ramen, american ramen! There's apparently a ramen for every occasion.
Siblings have similar tastes I guess.
What kind of donut shop sales ramen?
Okay, that scene with them blowing at the noodles was funny.
What is even the place Koizumi went to?
Hanna is just too cute.
Man, it took almost half the episode before ramen even showed up. I was weird.
Yuu is still a obsessive weirdo.
That's actually a clever way to take a "trip" over Japan. Especially if you love ramen.
I'm mostly surprised that ramen apparently has only 100 years.
Damn, I forgot to keep up with this series… I stopped at the "master chef Yuu" I think…
Episode 8:
I will never stop being astonished by how many types and variations of Ramen there are. Especially since it's just one dish. Japanese cuisine really is amazing.
Funny how people can derive inspiration from Koizumi monomania.
Good thing Koizumi showed up during the second segment, because watching four guys eat is rather unappealing.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!This episode of Yuru Camp... oh wait, it's actually Ramen Camp.
Koizumi climbs mountains because they're there... ramen shops I mean.
Sorry Buta Yarou, but Koizumi goes after ramen like it owes her money.
Ugh, such fatty soups are just gross to be honest. Can't say I see the appeal.
This episode: Ramen is universe. Yuu is a stalker.
Like, seriously, they don't even try to hide it, instead they play up her creepy stalker factor.
Ramen and sushi. I can't imagine more Japanese meal.
Man, that's one big Gyoza. Koizumi has an enormous appetite.
This episode:
Calling your ramen "Tasty Ramen" is a little on the nose.
Ah, vague memories of things you ate as a child.
Is Osaka like full of perverted weirdos?
Koizumi made a friend! Who turns out to be Yuu's cousin, but still, we shouldn't blame her for that.
Final episode:
Yuu obsession with Koizumi was super obnoxious and definitely the worst part of the show. I like how Koizumi never relented or softened up to her tho.
I ended up liking this show much more than I expected. It had a weird charm, and it was fun to learn more about Ramen culture. This one's a keeper.

Oh, it's over? I might binge it this weekend then. =3 At least so that you're not alone on this thread.
Thanks, but this is nothing. I was the only guy posting in the Twin Star Exorcist thread for a better part of a year.
I know how it feels. I've been monologuing in the Hidan no Aria thread for a while too.
So, is anyone watching this show?
Its based on a Manga, and had an earlier live action adaptation.
But we have a girl (Koizumi) who really loves all types and styles of Ramen, and a lesbian girl with a crush on her following her around and learning about ramen as a way to get closer to her.
