Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
Clear Concise Witty. An image that conveys the trope clearly does not warrant a pull without a replacement suggestion.
Spiral out, keep going.Keep.
(Annoyed grunt)Gonna have to go with Keep Until Better Image Suggested on this one. A clunky image that illustrates the trope clearly is better than no image.
Given there's at least two somewhat complicated concepts that need to be portrayed in a picture for this page (first that a character thought somebody was heroic based off of their reputation, and second that they no longer think that way after actually meeting them), there's nothing wrong with it taking five panels to demonstrate this trope.

Hmm... how about Rainbow Dash lashing out at her parents in front of Scootaloo?
^ No clue what's going on there

Nothing so far gets the concept across better than the current for me.
11.2 is not bad.
So have we enough options for a crowner yet?
I'm also figuring another benefit to MLP and Simpsons options I suggested is that they do this without resorting to speech balloons that do nothing for someone reading this in another language. Not that this is essential, just a plus. Where possible, Show, Don't Tell.
Keep current.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyRight now the only thing that's got any real consensus is the current; the Simpsons option only has one .
Been another 5 days. Anyone else want to weigh in?
Good enough. I'll adjust the tag shortly; locking up.
I don't believe in limiting oneself to 1 or 2 panels, but 5 is pushing it. Especially when they're spread out over 3 rows. Surely something about never meeting your heroes can be expressed more concisely than this...
