Yeah, even though I know the source I don't see how it illustrates the trope.

A quick search found this pic of a mage appearing to summon a demon from a brazier from RuneQuest but I don't know if it is prominent enough to use.

It's kind of unclear that the brazier is the summoning artefact, since summoning through flames is reasonably more common than using an artefact for the same thing. However, it's very clear on the summoning part. Point it out in the caption to clarify?

[up]Admittedly I am unfamiliar with the source material so I am unsure if it is a true example but I thought it looked like one and I feel it is definitely better than the OP.

Is summoning a djinni from a lamp a sufficiently common story that the picture covers it?

Is it more Sealed Badass in a Can? Can it be both? Without the lamp you don't get the djinni.
