Creating Great Villains : Critique and Improve

I haven't seen a thread (in my short, quick scrolling through some pages of threads) where people can get help improving a villain for their work. I mainly need help in this topic since I've been getting into the villains part of my own story and would love some help in making them better.

Here is the villain I am working on. Its short, so apologies for that, but as mentioned before, I am just starting to get into villainous characters.

Shinoko Solaris Female 36 years old

Shinoko owns a grand company, the Solstar Corporation that provides the the kingdom of Dragonia with modern technological products. She is very devoted to her faith and is pushing her faith into her corporation and family.

Tropes that fit this villain (because this is TV Tropes after all):

• Corrupt Corporate Executive : She's the CEO of the Solstar Corporation and her devotion to faith is making her become corrupted, brainwashing her employees to believe and making smaller companies who aren't believers of her faith go bankrupt.

• Abusive Parents :Is this to Takehiro, her son. Him not wanting to accept her faith has led her to start hating him, punishing and insulting him for it. Her hatred has grown so much that she has him locked up in a crappy room in her mansion and destroying any chance of him experiencing the world.

• Knight Templar : Her obsession over faith, in believing in Aellas and wanting to his messenger has led her to do some terrible things, even to her own son.

• Lightis Not Good : Her company is rather helpful to the player, even she is throughout the story, but when the heroes get in her way, the whole company seemingly starts getting aggressive towards them.

If you need anything else, just ask. I am willing to hear ideas and such, possibly contribute to others who are starting out on creating villains as well.
