Heh, I gotta say, I was half expecting this theme to play while in the Wooded Kingdom, especially when fighting the boss:

Alright, I can finally get a handle on my work schedule again now that I've cleared the main part of Odyssey.

I loved it! Every bit of it! (Except the part where the majority of Shiveria's moons are on the bland, quiet overworld and you don't get the option to fill it over with music until you actually beat the game but otherwise!!)

I see everyone likening the ending sequence to an anime song, but to me, given the context, it felt more like the outro to like... an early 2000s action flick or something. Either way I absolutely loved it I can't wait for work to settle down long enough for me to pound out the Dark Side of the Moon.

The song in English sounds like a Sonic song, in Japanese, it's an anime OP.

I'm stuck on this Moon in the Seaside kingdom. It involves using the jet squids to navigate across a chasm, and I always get stuck on the poison corridor. There's just no way to get past it without running out of juice as far as I can tell.

I remember missing that one just barely during my first go of the area. I don't actually have it yet, but per chance would pulling a good ol' "Yoshi Sacrifice" and diving for some extra airtime get you enough distance?

You can make that in one go. I recommend going from the rightmost point on the last pond, and not bothering to land on the platforms above it.

another thing to remember is that you can hit both B and Y to go diagonally upwards, so you can gain height as you go forward

Beat the final most challenging level. It was tough, and I died a lot, but it's no Champion's Road. Did like testing on all the capture abilities though. Only real frustrating part is when you're on the moving platform with all the respawning enemies and circle lasers. Can't figure out how to do that other than luck out on tanking everything. Invisibility Cap is cool, but I don't think I'll be using it.

Argh the Steam Gardens race is so annoying. I keep falling off of the cliff or fucking up the beginning segment.

i just learned that you can replay the NDC festival by talking to a guy in the music hall.

if youve unlocked the 8-bit Jump Up Super Star, you can replay the festival with that version playing, and all the billboards are 8-bit

Get a sense of how far you need to turn in the two circle challenges and maintain that motion? As for the triangle one, remember that the triangle is equilateral? That's how I got a 100 on the triangle challenge.

For some reason I really have trouble climbing poles compared to Mario 64 and Sunshine.

I think most poles (trees being the exception) are arranged like the 3D games where you have four directions climbing up plus full rotation at the top.

Maybe that's part of it?

Oh god the musical note Moon in Lost Kingdom is dumb. The timing is way too strict and you're basically forced to used the motion controls.
