I beat it with Lianna(heals), Corrin, and Camilla all defending the base while the rest of the units took the left and right sides. I made having Camilla take out Takumi and Oboro a priority, once they're gone it gets a bit easier.
Too many archers to risk bringing Camilla. I just brute forced that map with overleveled Lianna, Corrin, and dual Musous.
Yeah, the archers were a bit of a pain to deal with. I had to kite Oboro around Takumi so Camilla didn't die, but afterwards as long as I told her to stay out of their areas she was fine.

I gave a sword with Anti-triangle to Corrin, and had her deal with Oboro.
No point in bringing Leo AND Elise: they both use tomes, weapons that aren't particularly helpful on a map without armoured units.
I haven't tried any Anna missions yet: a level gap that high is a bit intimidating for me.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.1.2.0 update is live.
New History Mode map seems specifically designed for grinding materials; each of the maps at the start are easy missions where every enemy is of the same weapon type.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I already found a few good maps for grinding on the original history mode, but that sounds like it'll be a boon.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Yep, right off the bat there's seven missions for fighting nothing but Soldiers, Archers, Mages, Fighters, Myrmidons, Manaketes, and Outrealm Fiends respectively. And there's a lot of captains strewn about, too.
Haven't tried the Manakete map yet, though. Curious how that'll be.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!...Where are you supposed to get the update?
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! If you don't automatically get it, go to the icon on the home page, and use + to look at the options for software update.
I should mention that I have the 3DS version.
EDIT: The update just came.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Guys, we found a live one! Approach slowly and treat it with caution.
Should be able to just press Y on the home screen to update to the latest version.
Oh. Then check the eShop; patches for the 3DS have always been a bit cumbersome to get.

Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownLucina and Lissa's Support is so amazing. Honestly, every Support I've seen so far in this game has been great.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Which is somewhat ironic, as they have to squeeze 3 supports worth of character development into one conversation.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television. The fact that they're one long conversation is probably why they're good. No need to stick to any sort of formula or relationship building that must be resolved the third or fourth time they ever speak to each other.
That and not having to write a million of them to account for all the marriages. That probably lightens the writers' workload and stress level.
And the fact that they're all platonic to begin with helps. It means the support can resolve neatly instead of having to suddenly jump to "lol just met you but wanna get married?" "k"

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Instead they have to squueze in "Hey, I just met you, but here, have all my character development in one conversation".
I wouldn't claim it to be any less rushed than what IS has to do in their own games.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Iago quoting Narcian is just hilarious.
Do the legendary weapons get a power boost at any time? Fujin Yumi and Brynhildr having 30 Attack is pathetic.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Eeyup, but it's a bit complex.
Some of the tougher History Mode maps have rewards such as "Yato Scroll" or "Brynhildr Scroll". Those scrolls are necessary crafting ingredients (along with a lot of other materials) to make a weapon mastery crest, found at the end of a character's weapon rank crest chain.
Once you make the crest you're still not done, though. Like the Master Sword in Hyrule Warriors, you then need to score a bunch of KO's with the weapon (thankfully only 10,000) to unleash the weapon's full potential.
On the plus side, not only does doing this boost the weapon's power to its max value of 240, it also negates the penalties incurred by ____slayer skills so you can go and stick one or two on there with no negative consequences. My Falchion has Armorslayer on it in addition to the usual Dracoslayer, so now Chrom can mow down Knights pretty easily.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Beat Story Mode. It took me this long due to Odyssey and being distracted by History Mode.
Story wasn't amazing, but it was passable and still had some good character interaction. Hopefully if we get a sequel it tries harder with its plot.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I wasn't exactly expecting this to be The Epic of Gilgamesh or Ulysses going in, so I enjoyed the story well enough for what it's worth as an Excuse Plot to give context to a zany crossover.
The Power of Friendship is such a cliche, though, and they really hammer you over the head with it. Even if the plot of the next game is still barebones I at least hope they're more inventive with the themes.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Ok, is there some trick to the Sol Katti scroll map, or is this just really obscenely hard? It's a bow-locked timed attack mission: 1000 K Os. Featuring mages, manaketes, swordmasters, and snipers.
Seems like a map designed specifically to bring all of the weaknesses of bows to the front: low mobility, poor captain killing ability, and negligible group killing ability. The only advantage of bows is a built in wingslayer: so if nobody is a flying unit, what use are they?
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.I actually wrote a guide on that mission here.
There's not much strategy beyond "ignore the captains and don't get hit", but it can at least give you an idea of what enemies appear.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
By clearing any of the five Reward Maps unlocked by completing an illustration.
All five of 'em are level 80 missions, though, so she's pretty tough to get.
