No, the other one.
I don't think breaking someone's glasses counts as a minor trigger. It's something you'd obviously get mad about. The trope has problems with misuse regarding exactly that, where the trigger is actually something you'd reasonable get mad about.

Again the trope is, "you do something that you think is no big deal in their presence". That does not include destroying someone's glasses. That's not "no big deal". That's part of what has diluted the trope and caused problems before.
