I like the original if it can be cropped a bit on the sides & top - I think the workshop in the background distracts a bit from the book and the text underneath.

Here's another image for consideration. It's the alchemiter from Homestuck in use, combining a child's spring rider toy with a hammer to produce... a hammerheaded pogo ride.
