- Name: Loke Dela Cruz-Kinipela (Sundalo)
- Age: 23
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: Loke is a tall girl of fillipino/polynesian descent with long waist length black hair, she is of medium build and is often smiling, however, she has a Glasgow smile, making it rather disquieting instead of welcoming. Loke also has a horrific mass of scar tissue covering her left side from her navel to her breast from a shark attack. Loke tends to wear jeans and T-shirts, while she prefers to go barefoot, that's somewhat hard to do in Domremy, so she wears slipper which she can easily take off.
- Transformed Appearance: In her princess form, Loke's build becomes slightly tougher, her stringy muscles expand slightly and give her a more well-built look. She wears a loin cloth wrapped around her waist and a short, quilted red cape tucked over one arm. Her body is covered in intricate tattoos, most notably, a hammerhead shark on her back and her shoulder. Her hair is also tied back into a bun.
- Calling: Champion
- Court: Swords (Can't use Fuocco, just never really got the hang of it.)
- Life: Once born
- Regalia:
- Leiomano (Kensai): Loke wields a Sharktooth war club in combat, though, rather than the real size used on humans, Loke's is massive. It's about five feet long and weighs about ten pounds, yet Loke can lift it easily (though it is not wielded with any sort of grace) It can not cut cleanly, often getting caught in a monsters flesh and needing to be torn out.
- Cape: Loke's cape, while not restricting her movement, is heavy enough to work as a shield, allowing her to defend against the claws of lighter monsters, or swing it to stun one.
- Phylactery: A single, teal jewel that Loke wears as a stud on her left ear.
- Invocations:
- Terra: Loke uses the earth for sheer strength, bolstering herself to form as a guardian for the innocent.
- Fuocco: Loke technically has access to this as a champion of swords, but for one reason or another, she just doesn't use it.
- Charms:
- Open-Hand: Unbroken: Loke's bond with the earth, while mainly tangential makes her a monster in combat, she is unflinching, capable of taking any hits without moving and her grip can crush stone and bend steel.
- Kensai: Durability: Loke's cape and Leiomano can withstand crushing blows and horrific damage without even cracking.
- Kensai Forceful: Loke's leiomano hits with the force of earthquakes, rending the ground around it, though it does tend to get stuck in flesh-requiring Loke tear it loose.
- Personality: Loke is always cheerful. She is always excited about something and is generally a friendly, if intimidating person. As a Princess, this cheer forms into a lust for battle, hollering and screaming as she uses her strength to tear through monstrosities and her durability to take hits that would kill the weaker. Loke enjoys Grindcore music, swimming and exploring the swamps. she is not ashamed by her scars and is rather happy about it, She enjoys the works of Marquis De Sade, Serial Killers and Blaxploitation movies. She is a skilled Dancer, diver and can sing death metal quite well. In combat, Loke propels herself at dark spawn, roaring and laughing. Unfortunately, her need to be a champion makes her refuse to create Sworn, leading her dangerously close to running herself into the darkness. She also speaks four languages; (in order of learning) Tagalog, English, Polynesian and Japanese. Loke, also tends not to really get personal space, often greeting her fellow princesses with a hug and a kiss, doing her best to bring them some affection.
- History: Loke was born in the Phillipines, where her father came from. Unfortunately, after he died in a heart attack, Loke's mother took her and her brother to Hawaii where they were taught

Good to be back- Name: Adrian Malic/Wizard/Wiz
- Age: 17
- Gender: Male
- Appearance: Tall and best described as lanky Adrian is the kind of guy who looks like he went through the taffy puller from Willy Wonka. Short black hair and pale skin, covered by layers of blue, from jeans to jackets it stays as almost a theme to him. When cold enough he can usually be found with a scarf covering his face. Finally a pair of glasses sits almost eternally crooked on his face until he gets serious enough to fix them.
- Transformed Appearance: His transformed state shortens him a bit, seemingly using the extra mass to beef him a slight bit, covering him in a long blue robe depicting an ever moving display of stars and planets, along with a typical 'wizards hat' that normally falls off within minutes of him transforming, replaced instead by his hood. Hair becomes white and his glasses become much more stylized, always sitting on the edge of his nose as more of a fashion statement then something needed.
- Calling: Seeker
- Court: Spades
- Life: Was once a former Prince, a mage whose careful if tricky actions helped form a kingdom ruled by virtue and morals, before the Fall.
- Regalia: Book of Spells- A magic tome spilling with knowledge, able to sent out bursts of light to disrupt all things of the Dark.
- Phylactery: His glasses.
- Invocations: Aria and Terra, both free and bound to duty all at once.
- Charms
- As Wind With Stone- Those who look into the abyss often blink at its cold glare, and that goes more so for the empathetic Royals who are magnets for dark emotions. However when using this charm to make him both free and grounded he can deal with horrifying scenes and dark images with his usual level of rationality. The charm is by no means sturdy as he balances two invocations at once to allow him to use it, but he can last long enough to gleam useful information unless interrupted.
- Elusive- Best to keep to the shadows and always track from behind. A wizard will never reveal the secret of how they found your base, or the pretty keys that aren't in your pocket.
- Hallowed Hearth- Mundane is how a wizard hides his secrets, and even should you enter it should be done with a smile. A home is a place for friends and good times, come here without that and the good charm turns bad.
- Palladion/Upgrade: Thunderous- This coat is my shield, strike it and hear the sounds of thunder striking your ears. A less pleasant noise can't be imagined.
- The Finest Hour, the Last Hour- I am no longer laughing. There comes a time when a rainfall becomes a hurricane.. This is the forbidden Tempest, and you have entered the storm.
- Personality: Have you ever met someone who seemed to be thinking ten different thoughts while also humming a tune that only they can hear? Merlin is a bit like that, except can come off a bit saner when he needs to. Everything has the outer appearance of a game while containing the idea of what he is trying to say. The only time he bothers to speak plainly is when in normal conversation or he feels like the other person would take it as mean spirited. At heart he is a good person, but can be rather shy and awkward due to just how quickly his brain is moving in comparison to the world around him.
- History: Adrian is what one might have called a 'special' individual, having excelled in all forms of study and leaning that were available to him, however he found more comfort in books and theory then he did the world around him. As such there was little time for him to learn about others, or to push for any social interactions unless necessary. This changed one day at school, when a bully came up to him and attempted to force him into doing work for him. For a moment he was afraid, but then something just clicked for him. Fear was a choice, a choice being made by the other people being bullied who didn't understand they had that choice. So rather then give into fear he stood before the bully, squared himself up, steeled his nerves...
And began to spew forth a number of words that were of course insults and embarassing nicknames if the boy had understood a lick of Old English or German. The bully must have thought he was possessed, but by the time he finished he then went back and explained what each of those words meant in reverse order before simply sitting back down. "If you want something done, maybe go and do it yourself."
That was the direct moment he blossomed, the light shining through him as he used what he knew to shut down someone stronger then him. Learning had always come easily to him, and exploring the history of the Queens and their Nobility simply provided new aspects. As for fighting the Dark...well if you don't use it you lose it, and what better foe to match wits against then a force that has existed since the start of time?

Judgement time!
Loke
- You can't scar yourself with your own Regalia. In fact, you can actually keep it blunt whenever you want.
- Add Fuoco anyway as you're a Champion of Swords. Even if you don't use it.
- Speaking of Invocations, are you sure that Terra, Invocation of responsibility, duty and politeness fits her? Remember that you need to live the Invocation in order to use it.
Merlin
- Please don't make him literally Merlin. Personal preference, but I'd rather keep "The Kingdom" vague, not make it literally Camelot.
Edited the first two, as for Terra? Loke's responsible, (caring for her uncle) dutiful (Being a princess) and it allows me to try to not be another Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
Good to be backI'll be joining, with Tsubaki's profile being hammered out tonight.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015profile will be done tonight.
Working now, will either be up tonight or tomorrow, more likely tomorrow
-dramatic music ensues-Seems interesting. I'm not all too familiar with Princess: The Hopeful. Hope my character comes out fine.
Actually, call me Dem or Dem Kimos I hope they add a name change soon...I'm quite interested in joining, so I'll have character sheet up soon.
Hi, reading your signature. I'm dad.Judgement.
Loke and Wiz accepted.
Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism.- Name: Tsubaki Ankou/Nova Drawcia
- Age: 17
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: Here she is, in both normal and transformed states.
- Calling: Champion
- Court: Swords
- Life: Onceborn
- Regalia: Tsubaki’s Regalia consists of:
- Heart of Fire: a pink, crystalline heart that appears to have flames dancing around inside of it, and serves as her Phylactery. Is hidden behind her chestplate when transformed.
- Stylus Blade: Nova’s primary weapon, a Kensai sword shaped like a Nintendo DS stylus and equipped with the Burning and Durable upgrades.
- Solar Armor: Nova’s Barrier Jacket-based armor, worn all over her body in Princess form.
- Invocations:
- Fuoco: Her primary Invocation, as a Princess of Swords. She uses the fire within her heart to blaze a path through the Darkness.
- Aria: Tsubaki believes in letting people be free to express themselves, and thus has gained some beginner's skill in using Aria.
- Charms:
- Celestial Dance: Gives Nova the ability to move with the grace and speed of an Olympic athelete when transformed.
- See Regalia for other Charms.
- Personality: Passionate is certainly a word that describes this young lady well. An aspiring artist, practicing gymnast, and a determined Noble for about a year and a half now, she's strong-willed and disciplined thanks to training from her father Morgan. She's kindhearted and sweet usually, but she can occasionally have a slightly quick temper if she's stressed out enough. But her lack of any friends for much of her life has left her somewhat socially awkward, and she may sometimes come off as weird to those who meet her. Deep down though, she has lingering feelings of resentment and envy for being labeled an outcast by her peers for so long...feelings that could prove to be her undoing.
- History:
- Born as the youngest daughter of a lesbian couple (via sperm donation) consisting of a police officer and a pianist, Tsubaki Ankou has lived a life where the term "normal" is very subjective for her. From a young age, she'd always loved to draw pictures, most of the time of whatever weird things her little mind thought up. However, the drawings were often quite strange to the other children around her, and that plus her red eyes (due to an odd form of albanism she had) and lesbian parentage gave other kids the impression that she was "evil", and thus made it hard for her to find friends. The only people who seemed to understand her were her parents and siblings, who understood what she was dealing with, and were her comfort for years, as she never seemed to fit in at school. She was an outsider, and that continued to be constant all the way up into high school.
- However, towards the end of her sophomore year of high school, things changed one day when she was walking home from school. As she went along her merry way, she saw someone getting attacked by what seemed to be shadowy monsters in an alleyway. Tsu couldn't ignore the pleas for help, and rushed to save the day, Blossoming in the process. Tsubaki soon found herself finally making some friends in the form of her Science Lab partner Liz, and her new girlfriend Gwen, much to her own shock and amazement. Though she had no idea what she had gotten herself into with this war against the darkness, Tsubaki's facing it with an unwavering spirit and hope that she and any other Princesses in Doremy can withstand anything that comes their way. Time will tell just how much it'll take for her resolve to crack...

"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015- Name: Vanessa Raymond/Elpha
- Age: 20
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: A 5’11” woman with dark brown hair and bright green eyes. She’s the extremely pale of someone who spends most of their time indoors. She also has to wear horn-rimmed glasses as her vision is absolutely terrible
- Transformed Appearance: Ignore the orbs◊
- Calling: Seeker
- Court: Diamonds
- Life: Onceborn
- Regalia:
- Tentacles-kensai: a set of 8 mechanical tentacles that attach to her back through cybernetic ports while in princess form. Aside from claws at the end for combat each has a different information gathering too in the “hand” of the tentacle. There are as follows: USB port, radiation detector, seismograph, thermometer, ph meter, microphone, spectrometer, air flow meter. They can also connect and feed the data to her phone. However the tools mean that the tentacles, while capable of combat, are less effective than weapons of the other Hopeful.
- Phone: A Samsung Smart phone, connected to her regalia due to the Data Wizard charm.
- Phylactery: Princess app. An application on her phone with a transformation option among other functions.
- Invocations: Vanessa has access to both Aqua and Fuoco both due to her obessions with the truth and knowledge and for the boundless passion and love for learning that drives her to be so obsessed with it.
- Second Glance Wrongness: Sometimes magic gets you good. The Enlightened are all too aware of that. Sometimes your mind can be wrapped in irrational fear by the Dark-Spawn hanging from the ceiling, pale-faced, sometimes the warrior of Storms can drive you into a frenzy, some things can pass by invisible. Princesses learn, though, to listen to the subtle wrongness that they get when their senses are being messed with, and it’s possible to stoke the radiance within, to burn away the clouds that fog the mind
- Fishing expedition: Dipping a hand into another’s thoughts, you draw out a bit of treasure. On touching her target, she learns one fact he knows and wishes to conceal
- Sense falsehood: The Princess develops an additional sense that can sniff out lies and dishonesty
- Data Wizard: A portable computer becomes part of the Princess’ Regalia. The computer can store data in practically unlimited quantities, has adapters to connect to any computer networks available where the Princess lives, and reads from or writes to all common forms of removable media she can find. The Princess still has to supply passwords to gain access to a network, or else defeat the network’s security. The Princess cannot connect to supernatural networks, unless they were specifically created to be compatible with The Light or mundane networks.
- Books in Running Brooks: The Queen of Diamonds is a scholar without peer, and her avatar has all knowledge at her fingertips. The Princess’ memory instantly fills with information on the things, people and places she encounters, arranged in the fashion she finds easiest to understand. The only limitation is that the topics chosen must be knowledge that is available to all of humanity
- Personality: Vanessa has and likely always will be one of the single most curious people in the world. She is absolutely driven in her desire both for new facts and creative works and nothing will stop her insatiable desire for new knowledge and experiences. Despite her nerves about the outdoors and fighting she loves being a princess for the opportunity to protect the future of humanity and the chance to be the pioneer of a whole new field of study.
- History: Vanessa out on a day trip for her biology class in the swamp wandered a bit too far away when no one was looking. Unfortunately, alligators are ambush predators, which have been known to attack humans on occasion. The early form of her regalia was just strong enough to pry the jaws of the monster open and then she shut the jaws and held them closed easily. Then her regalia pushed the alligator back and Vanessa ran for it, transforming back shortly after. Later back at her dorm room after going to the hospital for a patch job on her leg, she found a weird app on her phone. Exploring it she found three things: She couldn't delete it. It included a transform function. And it listed the history of the Queens and the Darkness and asked her who she pledged allegiance to. After some vigorous and high scientific tossing the phone against the wall it accepted her choice of Diamonds along with Swords as a backup. Now she works to defend the nearby area while working on her biochemistry degree.

Tsubaki is okay. Vanessa is okay.
Also, we have two Champions of Swords, so another one of those will be a longshot at being accepted now.
Addendum: Add a Phylactery (Transformation Trinket) in your sheets, pls, just below Regalia.

He has green eyes, and shoulder length black hair, which he will usually style as covering his left eye, and a section tied off and hanging down in front of his left shoulder, while the right side of his hair is tucked behind his earring adorned right ear. He likes to take advantage of his charming looks (as long as it doesn’t lead to too much harm or hurt feelings) and make jokes. He loves to perform, pursuing a major in theatre, and is quite talented. He is also quite the perfectionist, needing to make sure he is always at top performance.
- History: Raised in New Orleans, Quinn comes from a family of chefs. He lived a peaceful life, and was the model student in school. He sometimes faced a bit of discrimination due to his particular fashion choices and choices of love, but he never let it bother him. He found a home in theatre where he could wear anything he wanted, and act any way he wanted without criticism, and grew to love the thrill of the performance. After graduating from Highschool, he moved to a new town where there was a relatively good university and has lived there for the past few semesters. Little did he know, that he was about to get drawn into a greater fantasy than any story he had performed in.
Quinn is okay.

- Personality: Being a very inquisitive person, Warren often throws himself into the outdoors. His trips can last a few days, but he'll always return safe. He can doesn’t have very many close friends, but he’s always interested in suspicious or weird people. When he's angry, has quite a foul mouth and isn’t afraid of authority. He tends not to care about how others see him or think of him. When he panics, however, he acts quickly and always puts others before himself. He’s tried to play several musical instruments, but never seems to stay on one for long. He manages to make a makeshift cast and crutch out of materials from the brush and slowly made his way back to civilisation. He learns about the Darkness and is dead set on supporting his town and fellow hopefuls. However, after learning about the accident, his mother whisks him away to Domremy, hoping the quiet town will calm him down, where he’s lived for the last year.

Hi, reading your signature. I'm dad.- Name: Alissandra Cathasaigh
- Age: 18
- Appearance: Timid-looking girl of fair complexion. Alissandra has blond wavy hair that reaches halfway down her neck. She usually wears a white strapless pouf dress under a black lace bolero that covers her shoulders. She pairs this with sandals or heels, depending on the occasion.
- Transformed Appearance: Alissandra wears a long red coat beneath white and gold pauldrons that peak outwards into tongues of fire (not literally). A white puffy ruff peeks from her chest. On her golden halo, now braided and reaching the small of her back, sits a black wide-brimmed hat sporting a bushy feather on its right side. She also wears black trousers paired with equally black boots.
- Calling: Troubadour
- Court: Swords
- Life: Alissandra was once a noble. She returns as one of the Hopeful with flashes of the fall of the Kingdom in her memories. What she remembers most was the siege of their own kingdom. She also remembers most of her training as one of the nobles.
- Regalia:
- Light's Point (Kensei): A long rapier with a rounded hand guard decorated with flowers and vines on gold-plated metal. It does everything that rapier can do but is much sturdier.
- Light's Point (as a Levinbolt): The rapier can serve as a magnifier and may be used to draw figures, scenes, or symbols in the air (this is possible because of her charm).
- A Handy Notebook: She draws on the notebook and uses it as a pre-made magic salvo by invoking her Queen's power. Of course, the effects are much weaker than those made from Light's Point.
- Phylactery: A fountain pen she keeps on her person.
- Invocations:
- Fuoco: She chants this to give life to her fire (making it real, see charms). She also uses this to activate her drawings.
- Terra: She is new to the Queen, only discovering her after her blossoming. Most times she uses it to help her when using her charm on something massive or complicated.
- Charms:
- Blazing Trail: Alissandra can draw in the air, leaving fire in its wake. Her fire, though, is not real and cannot actually burn anything. It still retains its warmth and light.
- Bent, Not Broken: She can change the shape of any metallic object as long as it consumes the same amount of space.
- Burning Heart: She can light a fire inside someone's heart by standing in front of them, giving them the motivation to fight when their spirit is broken.
- Personality: Once a carefree and passionate noble in her previous life, Alissandra harbored great guilt for the fall of the Kingdom. Now, she feels that there must always be something to be done. Strict, anxious, and eager are a few words that describe her now.
- History:
- Alissandra started off as a regular girl... almost. She had memories of a past unbeknownst to her. Granted, it took time for her to make out what they really meant. As she grew up, Alissandra would spend most of her free days cooped up in her house directing all her energies towards drawing. As the days passed, however, she became more and more restless. Little did she know, everything for her was about to change.
- Giving in to her unusual anxiety, she decided to go out for a walk where she stumbled upon an old peddler on the street whose only pride was in his skill in his craft. Inspired, she made it part of her daily routine to walk by his usual spot where she would sometimes show him her work and he would show her his.
- One day, as she walked around the bend where the old man would usually be sitting, there was an empty street. At first, she waved it off but the same thing happened the next day, and the day after that, and the day after the day after that. It was only a few months later that she heard he had died.
- Afterwards, everything was a blur. Of course, nothing could have been done and Alissandra sulked for months on end. A lingering feeling remained, however: the feeling that there is always something that can be done. As she focused on this feeling, a gnawing guilt haunted her that felt so familiar and with it came the memories from her childhood. This time, however, she found new meaning in them because she realized that they were memories of her own. Strengthening her resolve, she used her time to relearn her past. Alissandra Cathasaigh had blossomed into a Princess.

Actually, call me Dem or Dem Kimos I hope they add a name change soon...- Name: Elizabeth “Liz” Underwood
- Age: 17
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: A bit on the small side and athletically stocky, with short black hair and blue eyes. She tends to wear practical clothes in most occasions, which she manages to keep clean in spite of pulling long hours tinkering with machines.
- Transformed Appearance: As a Princess, she ends up sporting a dark blue short unitard with matching knee-length boots, paired with a long jacket. The blue diamond from her charm bracelet (see below) is embedded in the chest region of the unitard.
- Calling: Seeker
- Court: Diamonds
- Life: Reincarnated Noble
- Regalia:
- Glitch – a Levinbolt taking the form of a futuristic bow, from which she can fire plasma arrows
- Charm bracelet – Her Phylactery’s default form. She activates her transformation into a Princess by pulling off the largest charm, a bright blue diamond, from the bracelet
- Invocations: Liz, being a studious and inquisitive Diamond, favors Acqua as her main Invocation. However, she also wishes to keep her friends safe, and as such has some access to Fueco.
- Charms:
- Levinbolt (*) – see “Glitch”
- Keen Observation (**, Alert, “Machines”) – When Liz transforms, she becomes keen-eyed, missing no detail when she fixes her attention. She can channel her invocations toward investigations and other perception-based actions. This works especially well when the subject of her attention is a machine.
- Unseen Traveler (*) – A Princess usually wants to be seen, to be noticed, to be the one that holds the lantern of Light that is the beacon to guide others. But sometimes, being seen is exactly what you don’t need, as the Darkness flees from the Light it becomes harder to determine its plan and intent. Using this Charm, Liz can temporarily make herself less noticeable to potential witnesses, though if she draws attention to herself the Charm doesn’t work.
- Consecrate (*) – The Princess blesses the ground she stands on, and dedicates it temporarily to her Queen and the Light.
- Personality: On the surface, Liz is a powderkeg. It’s not that she’s a bad person per se, but she doesn’t suffer idiots lightly, and sometimes she feels like she’s surrounded by nothing but them. Gain her loyalty, though, and you have an ally who will always be prepared for what will happen and will never back down if you're in danger.
- History:
- Elizabeth was born to Lucille and Franklin Underwood, and lived a normal life… well, as normal as life can be when your parents work for the mafia as enforcers. Needless to say, Liz quickly got used to lies and secrets (though that’s not to say she liked it), as well as her mother giving her self-defense training on the chance that she might be targeted by someone from the underworld. Still, Liz did well at school, including joining the robotics club, and she never wondered much about why her family just seemed to consist of solely her parents and herself
- One day, though, Liz would get a glimpse as to something odd. One day, while cleaning out her attic, Liz came across an old picture of a convention. The focus of said photo seemed to be of Lucy… as well as a man that looked like the spitting image of her. With only the picture and the words “Lucy and Luke” written on the back of it, Liz soon began a one-girl investigation on the matter. It was during one of the investigations that monsters attacked, however, and she probably wouldn’t have made it had she not transformed into, in her own words, “A freaking bow-wielding futuristic cat-burglar thingy.” Still, once she found out about the whole save the world mission Princesses like her had, she agreed to do what she can to pitch in.
Judgement.
Warren, Ali and Liz are accepted.
That's eight. Sign-ups will close soon, either today or tomorrow.

Nothing is what it seems. Master of Shipping and Sadism.- Name: Amélie Belrose
- Age: 20
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: The modern princess.
- Transformed Appearance: The magic soldier.
- Calling: Champion
- Court: Queen of Swords
- Life: She is aware that she is a Noble of the Kingdom ruled by the Queen of Swords, but doesn't remember any of the details. She's more concerned about the present, anyway.
- Regalia:
- Char (Levinbolt; as a Sniper-Rifle): A fairly ornate-looking sniper rifle. A bipod makes it easy for Amélie to fire while lying on her stomach.
- Char (Levinbolt; as Pistols): Twin backup handcannons resembling flintlock pistols.
- Blanc: A shikigami contained in an old, battered and patchwork-repaired bunny plushy Amélie always carries in her lap. Blanc transforms into a tailcoat and tie-wearing man with a rabbit's head. Blanc doesn't speak, but he princess-carries Amélie to vantage points and uses the immense strength and speed of his legs to protect her in emergencies.
- Phylactery: A slightly burned locket. Inside there are two pictures — one of Amélie's mother, and one of her aunt, both young teens.
- Invocations:
- Fuoco
- Terra
- Charms:
- Shot in the Dark (Fight): Amélie's rifle fires off brilliant light and flames, burning away Darkness and instilling in Nobles a sense of security. A direct hit is devastating.
- Fireproof (Perfect): The heat of the natural world does not trouble the Princess.
- A Princess and her Prince (Bless): Through line of sight, Amélie can telepathically communicate with one other Noble. Using this, she can ask for their permission to link themselves together and remotely share sight, hearing, and sense of smell. Amélie and her target also mutually gain sharper senses. Amélie often uses this to share Blanc's senses.
- Personality: Amélie is soft-spoken, very kind, and possessor of an iron will. Once a bright and heroic girl, Amélie grew more reserved with each passing year, and now maintains a 'cautiously optimistic' outlook. This coincides with a shift towards the Queen of Hearts' philosophy, and a temptation to delve into the realm of the Twilight Queens if it means putting an end to the war sooner.
- History:
- In Domremy, Belrose is a name associated with a hundred year old manor overlooking the town, built by wealthy French merchants. The now assymmetrical manor is positioned well away from the marshland, and its entirely missing east wing bears the scars of a fire, having been torn down and closed off. Amélie has lived in the manor her entire life and continues to do so.
- Amélie might be the closest to a veteran Princess, with eight years of fighting under her belt. Eight years ago, Amélie's father played host to his sister-in-law, and Amélie's aunt.
- Amélie's aunt believed that Amélie's father was responsible for her sister's death. She set fire to the estate in an act of revenge. Only through Amélie's father's timely intervention and sacrifice was Amélie spared her life, instead escaping with only a spinal injury as a result of falling through the broken second storey banister.
- Amélie's aunt did not manage to escape her own fire. Amélie's decision to stay and comfort her dying aunt in her last moments Blossomed her. Filled with newfound power, Amélie hung on for dear life until rescue arrived. Timely intervention from the fire department preserved most of the manor, but the east wing was lost.
- Time healed Amélie's heart, but not her body. Through physical therapy Amélie regained the ability to sit upright, but was told she would most likely never walk again. Her uncle took over her father's company, and Amélie fought many long, bitter and lonely years with only her silent shikigami, Blanc, by her side.

This is a story of fighting fear...
Hello, everyone! This is an rp based on Princess: The Hopeful, a fan game line for the New World Of Darkness, transporting the magical girl setting into that world.
Yeah.
Inspired by the likes of Sailor Nothing and Madoka Magica, Princess takes place in a world where Darkness has already won. The heroes are outnumbered, outgunned and at risk of being corrupted. But.
Hope remains. And that's the theme. As long as there's a spark of light, they fight. To make things better. To fight fear. And if they hold on to hope long enough, then maybe, there will be a shot at victory.
But before we get into the Lore, here are a few clarifications about this game. One, I won't be using much of the actual game system, just the premise and setting, so no dice rolling. Two, I will just be using Princess as a base. All the other game lines for NWOD will not be used.
With that said, let's get into the lore.
"So, you've just Blossomed, haven't you? I can tell you're confused, I was too. But you've got to learn, or else you won't survive. There's a war on. Ha. Yes, I know it sounds crazy, but it's true. Me? My name is Elise. Just...listen to me, okay? You need everything you can get. I'll explain everything."
The Kingdom, The Darkness, and The Fall
"It all started, I suppose, once upon a time. Yes, it is rather cliche, isn't it? But yes, once upon a time, no one knows when, or where."
"There was a Kingdom. Kingdoms, plural, if you want to get technical. This Kingdom...was beautiful. It was...well, not quite a utopia, but rather close enough. A paragon, a shining example of happiness and stability. It was ruled by the Queens, and protected by the Nobility.
"Now, the Kingdom was the first line of defense against an eternal enemy. The All-Consuming Darkness, an unknowable cosmic force of fear, hate and hunger. It ravaged and consumed, twisted and corrupted."
"Fighting the Darkness wasn't hard for the Kingdom. In fact it was easy. Too easy. Time and again, the Nobility pushed back the Dark whenever it tried to invade, winning battle after battle. We....they...grew arrogant. We thought we were invincible. In time, each Queen started to think that their way was best, that they and only they knew the true way of Light, and that it would all be for the best if everyone thought as they did."
"We were fools. The Dark was patient. And this was the opportunity that they needed. The Kingdom fell. No one knows exactly what happened, but the Kingdom fell. Five of the Queens were killed that day, their souls trapped in a specially made prison: The Dreamlands. I'll get to that later."
"And so that was it. The Enemy won. In time, it spread its dominion, consuming everything, bit by bit."
"Until the Moon Landing. Apollo 11. For one moment, for one shining moment, everyone hoped."
"The Queens, their souls in the Dreamland, broke free of the illusion binding them due to this. They were able to send their light into the real world, looking for those worthy to fight back, those who would not make their mistakes. Us."
The Hopeful
"And here we are. You. Me. We are the Hopeful, warriors and servants of Light, living embodiments of Hope. The Nobility, The Princess, the Enlightened. Or, well, we're supposed to be. It's harder, much harder in practice."
"The Hopeful are those given power by the light sent by the Queens. Some, most, of us are reincarnations of the Kingdom's Nobility. But lately, more and more fresh Hopeful pop up. Those that never had a past life in the Kingdom. Onceborn."
"All of us, at one time or other, Blossomed, that is to say, awakened to our power. Their is no set age to this, only that it is a time of great change. There needs to have been an event, where the prospective Princess had to make a choice between right and easy."
"The Hopeful are powered by the Light, the opposite of the Dark. In times of need, we transform into powerful ideal selves. Yes, we are Mahou Shoujo. No, I'm not kidding you. In fact, I encourage you to actually make speeches and shout attack names. We are powered by Hope and Belief, after all. Wipe that look off your face."
"A Princess does not use magic. We are magical. Our Charms are an extensions of our selves and our power. Over time and experience, a Princess becomes more powerful as her Inner Light grows. A Princess fuels her Charms with Wisps, magic powered by positive emotion. You will find it much harder to cast magic when you give in to fear and despair. Lastly, as avatars of Light, we have Sensitivity, an enhanced sense of empathy that quite literally hurts us and compells us to action whenever we see injustice and the taint of Darkness."
Callings
"The way we are called to serve the Light. Each calling has affinity with different Charms."
The Queens
"The Queens were the rulers of the Kingdom. They were role models and leaders, the Light's most powerful champions. But they grew self-righteous and arrogant. When the Kingdom fell, five Queens were killed. To prevent their souls from interfering or reincarnating, the Enemy trapped them in the Dreamlands, an illusionary mirror of the real world, where they lived out a farce that the Kingdom had never fallen. Now, the Queens are still trapped and cannot directly aid us, but they can send their power, through Invocations. Each Princess follows a Queen's philosophy, and is thus granted the power of their Invocation."
The Twilight Queens
"Not all Queens were killed during the Fall. There were those who survived, through any means necessary. The Twilight Queens and their Nobility are not our enemies, not really. But they are misguided, extreme, and very dangerous. Each of the three Twilight Queens (Tears, Storms, Mirrors) has an Invocation of her own, but I'm not going to list them here. The temptation to take the easy way is great."
The All Consuming Darkness
"The Enemy. The Darkness is a formless cosmic power. It is not a single entity. It is everywhere where evil is. Every crime, every murder, every abuse. It thinks it has won. Let's show it otherwise."
"The Dark World is a twisted mirror of the real one, a place of unbelievable evil. It connects to our world through Tainted Places, places where great evil happened."
"Darkspawn are the monstrous foot soldiers of the Enemy, coming in multiple shapes and sizes. No, they are not monsters of the week. These things are gibbering horrors straight from Lovecraft. The Enemy has other, stronger minions as well."
"And of course, there's good old Homo Sapiens. Because of course. There are Cults of Darkness afoot, those who bow to the Enemy."
"....And the worst of the lot. The Dethroned are what happens when Hopeful, becomes Hopeless. A Princess given in to Despair, who transformed using Darkness instead of Light. An almost unstoppable monster that even Darkspawn fear. ....I won't say anymore. Watch yourselves."
Domremy, Louisiana
"Home. It's a small town and it isn't much, but it's home. We're just a few kilometers off New Orleans, and the swamp here is...uhh, polluted should suffice. Still, it's ours and we have to protect it."
"That's all from me. If you want to join the fight, or learn more, you can find me in the early evening at the abandoned apartment building right next to the Jeanne D'Arc monument downtown. Across the street from St Damian's Hospital. All right, good luck, and may the Light guide you."
....That was long. Elise had a lot to say, didn't she? Well, anyway, for further reading, here's the Princess The Hopeful Tropes page as well as a link to the gamebook's PDF file.
As for now, let's get to the character sheet.
I'm just looking for 6-8 Magical Girls here. Also, you may sign up as a normal person caught up in this supernatural bull, just cut out the Noble-specific stuff there and add Equipment instead of Regalia and Skills instead of Charms and Invocations. I'll only accept one or two of those, though.
So, enough of that! Have fun~.
