Poor Image: Nightmare Fuel.Awful Hospital

This is my first time posting here, so forgive me if I'm doing anything wrong.

Anyway, I feel the current image header for the Awful Hospital Nightmare Fuel webpage (first picture, with the "quick prick of pain."). is a bit 'meh.'

I want to replace it with something MUCH more nightmarish. (The Maternity Ward picture.)

So do I have permission?

Again; this is my first time posting on Image Pickin'. I'll wait a while to see if there are any objections.

Opened. It feels like a lateral change to me.

I remember seeing the first image during my first perusal of the comic, last night. It was at exactly that point, that image, that I decided that was enough internet for the night and I had sleep to get back to.

I glanced at the time.

1:03 AM.

Crud.

I spent the next forty or so minutes complaining about how I, "Wasn't expecting that," "Planned on getting at least SOME sleep tonight," and, "Haven't had a gut-wrench like that since... " and then noshed on an extra 10 milligrams of melatonin and conked out for about five hours of peaceful sleep.

As a person who doesn't get squeamish easily, that's a pretty big accomplishment.

The new image... I glossed over that one pretty quickly, and it was only on closer inspection that I saw what the "big deal" was. I like the skin ornamentation just under the ceiling. It's a nice touch. Real cute.

Your reasoning for changing the image is that it isn't as scary, but fear is subjective. I vote against the change, personally.

I think we'd need a proper poll to determine which one is more popular based on the fear factor, though I'd also side with the current image due to the comic's tendency towards Surreal Horror more frequently than Gorn. It's more representative of the comic's horror as a whole, yes?

Well, we'd need a lot of people to come in and make a choice, I suppose.

Despite using big words and talking for long periods of time, I know about as much about this system as you do. This is also my first time in Image Pickin' proper.

Alternatively, we can find other reasons why the image you picked would fit better than the old one. Do you have any other, more objective reasons for the swap? (e.g. theming, page design, etc.)

I still quite like how the old image's background goes with the Darth Wiki page's color scheme.
