When underwhelming / overwhelming / inappropriate character emotions break Willing Suspension of Disbelief?

Is there a term for this? Essentially, this is when willing suspension of disbelief is nearly broken, or actually broken, because a character either- 1) doesn't have enough emotional response to something that should be major (see "Angst? What Angst?" trope page) or 2) has an unfitting emotional response, or "the wrong" emotional response, to something

For example, a young adventurer heads out from his village to go on a journey. The village was his home, his life, all his family lives there, and he's dedicated to bringing wealth to his people. He returns to the village along with some new companions to discover it in embers and all of his friends and family slain. He has a momentary fit of insanity and swears to get revenge on the ones who did this, and sets out with his companions for vengeance. However, by the next chapter/episode/whatever, which takes place the next day, he is seen laughing and joking with his companions, joining in games at the nearest pub, and being the same cocky adventurer he always was with virtually no depiction of grief or deep thought, which would seem unbelievable considering how much his village meant to him, and how he'd just discovered it in ruins the day before.

Anyone know what I'm getting at here?

Too much emotion over minor events - see Chewing the Scenery.

Too little emotion over tragic events - as noted, see Angst? What Angst?. Also see Dissonant Serenity for when it's intentional. AWA already describes situations where such behavior is more likely due to writing and acting faults than intentional features, and so breaks suspension of disbelief.

Too little emotion over any events - see Dull Surprise.

Hope that helps.
