Well, 1.5 is a bit too recent for my taste. Also note that "the whole story in nutshell" doesn't really hold well when you consider that the first two little pigs escaping to the brick house is the modern take on the tale: in the original story, they both get eaten by the wolf.

I'm leaning toward 1.5 because although it depicts a more modern interpretation where the first two pigs escape, it illustrates the story well otherwise.
After all, how could you illustrate the original story if the first two pigs were already eaten? It would look like it was the story of "the one little pig" instead of three.
So my opinion (for whatever it's worth) is that 1.5 does the best job of illustrating the story of all the suggestions so far.

Okay, not exactly a duplicate "image" per se, but a duplicate source: the current picture use the Disney version of the characters, and while they have become iconic, they have their own page.
This page is for the original fairy tale depiction, which predates the cartoon. As such, I think it should have an illustration in a different style that the Disney version, preferably an olden one. (Also, the picture is not of great quality.)
There's no dearth of illustrations to switch to (I tend to favor the first):
