I'm making a mod call and reverting the change, as while the current technically fits, I think the Simpsons pic and the webcomic examples we've looked at in the thread fit the intent of the trope better as they are clearly interacting with the fourth wall. There's also the previous thread to consider.
I'll start another crowner shortly.

Giving this another bump as the two in the green are practically tied.
Maybe it's my guttermindedness talking, but in 5.2 the position of his head makes it look like he's reaching for that girl's pants to give her cunnilingus after apologizing to her or something. The option from post 32, apart from taking up less space, avoids that.
