Not really feeling any of those over the current, to be honest.
The best image example would be the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz.
The best is not a specific example. The best is a specific image that clearly illustrates the trope.
I don't think any of the suggestions are clearer than the current.
NightmareFuel.Raiders Of The Lost Ark has the same scene, so I think it's better to not repeat that one.
Check out my fanfiction!I like 1.2.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI think we might need a collage for this, however. The page mentions a half-dozen different ways for this trope to happen.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Here's◊ the depiction of the Wicked Witch melting from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Good point, a collage might work best.
Eh, I don't like either Wicked Witch pictures. 6 looks like she's just crouching, and 7 looks like she's disappearing instead of melting.
7 is a bit hard to read at a glance.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI thought I'd seen that book pic before somewhere, and yep... it's already on Kill It with Water.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Any melting snowman from a Disney flick?
Clock is set.
Crowner?
Lego works.
Check out my fanfiction!I like that one, too.
I'll go with 15.1.
(Annoyed grunt)I like the third one
20.3.

While the current image is pretty funny, I'm thinking it could be better illustrated with showing a person melting. I got a few suggestions
behind the scenes photo of the face melt scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark◊
Snowman sugar cookie
