Another concern with McAllister is that he literally admitted in one episode that he's not a real captain. "Subverted" isn't a disqualifier, but it should be considered a flaw.

Spiral out, keep going. The less overlap with "pirate" the better.
I think we have enough for a crowner
Alternatively, there's also Gibbs from Pirates Of The Caribbean:

Clock is set. Crowner?
Crowner, yes.
Spiral out, keep going.Crowner's hooked.
Of the three leading options, I'd most support the Gibbs one. Practically looks like a textbook example of an old sailor.

32 seems just as not-an-example as 6, though. He's not as pleasant-looking as 6, but he's still pleasant-looking.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyEh, I'd say he looks grizzled and unkempt enough to qualify. Plus, he is a supporting character from a (Disney) live-action film. They are supposed to be somewhat pleasant-looking.
Spiral out, keep going.Votes bump; four in the green.
Gibbs is 8 points in the green, and 5 points ahead of the next option. He's running away with this... or rather, sailing away with it.
Shall we call this, or give it another few days?
Anyone know what if anything Gibbs was saying in the original context of that screenshot?
