I mentioned this before but I think they could have Beerus' Hakai have a special animation for when it's used as a finishing blow but otherwise it's not an instant kill (like Goku's Hakai).

What's a hakkai?

The God of Destruction ability to completely destroy matter, energy, and even souls.

Only in the Super manga & he hasn't mastered it so he can only turn you into dust.

It was first shown during the Battle of Gods Super retelling, where Beerus used it to erase Goku's Kamehameha from existence, though the full weight of it wasn't felt until he used it on Zamasu.

I could see Beerus having the “erases Zamasu” moment as a high level instant kill, with the drawback that not only can you use only one instant kill a match (so no abusing both him and 16), but it would be a counter super (which always suck) or a move with an extremely close hitbox. And maybe costs more bars than any other super in the game.

Or maybe Beerus feels his job is done at that point and goes home after using it.

Or perhaps it's like 16; you use it, and hit or miss, Beerus gets tired and takes a nap. Then Whis takes him away to his palace. As it is with 16, you lose the character for going for the instant kill; Beerus taking a nap would be a way to represent that in an in-character way.

You know, I'd be okay with adding Super Buu to the game... if they diversified him from Fat Buu and Kid Buu by giving him a mechanic where he can absorb a teammate (just Gotenks, Ultimate Gohan, and Piccolo if they want to stick to canon, almost all of the cast if they want to get crazy) to gain a power boost, some different moves, and some altered stats.

Eat your partner for more time on the clock.

It would be kinda nice to have a Double-esque character who superficially has abilities from most of the cast, but uses them in their own unique and different ways.

Cell would be the go to character for that sort of thing, but he didn’t turn out that way. And I guess the characters aren’t so different that a character build like that would work as well anyway.

In that case they should use Super Buu's final appearance where he after absorbing Vegito he loses Gohan's shirt & goes back to his original shirtless look but maintains his new face & nose.

At that point he's absorbed everyone so they can easily input a mechanic where he undergoes transformations into Super Gohan Buu or Super Gotenks Buu thereby changing his move-set a little & ergo giving him his own class system.

Has this video been posted yet? A breakdown of Ginyu's moves as references to the manga/anime.

The channel has this kind of videos on all of the revealed characters so far, and they're quite thorough.

I can see one of Super Buu's supers to be that time where he explodes someone from the inside out by force feeding himself into him.

So indeed, we have confirmation that Beerus, Hit and Goku Black are on the roster.

Haha. Goku Black's assist character is himself.

Looks like Zamasu is an assist character for Black. Good, that's how it should be. Make Zamasu come in for grabs, guards, and certain Supers.

Also, certain team compositions (or is it enemy combinations?) will reproduce scenes from the show when a fight starts. That's neat.

It may include finishing the match by defeating certain characters with certain other characters. Yamucha's iconic death (probably brought on by winning with Nappa) and Goku finishing off Kid Buu are among the scenes featured in the magazine.

Also Frieza blowing Krillen up & possibly Beerus' victory over Goku.

Oh, there's a lot of fun to be had there...

My wishlist for those:

• 18 breaking Vegeta's arm.
• Cell crushing 16's head.
• Nappa begging Vegeta for mercy, and subsequently getting blown up.
• Freeza death beaming Vegeta.
• Bluegeta bringing Freeza to his knees.
• Tien breaking Yamucha's leg.
• Krillin giving up against Piccolo (though iirc Krillin's intro already uses a bit from that).
• Goku giving Piccolo a senzu bean, then flying away.
