Best if we cut this, since it looks like we can't salvage anything.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportAh well. Just cut it.
We don't need justice when we can forgive. We don't need tolerance when we can love.Went ahead and put this on the cutlist, since no one had replied in such a long time (and no one felt it was worth saving).
~bitemytail, you're jumping the gun there.
We haven't even finalized the decision or reached a sizeable consensus, and the wicks weren't handled yet. Declining the cut.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportFor consensus purposes, I'll chime in that I don't see any reason to attempt salvaging the contents.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Me neither. Seems like starting over from scratch with inspiration from this is the best route for any kind of "keeping".
Check out my fanfiction!Ick. This sort of thing is why we have our No New Stock Phrases policy.
I don't see anything worth salvaging. To the chopping block with it.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Any objections to cutting?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAs long as the wicks are scrubbed first, none from me.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.None here either. Might as well go for it unless someone chimes in?
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportPurge away.
Removed all links on the related page, except the link to the Laconic.
Put both the main page and the Laconic on the cutlist.
Okay, now we can cut, since more have spoken up.
Helps that you took care of the wicks first as well.
Edit: Well, since it appears it's cut already, closing.

We've got a trope here that's got a few issues:
Wick Check: 19/19 examples
Obviously the first item would be easy to fix, but given all the other issues, do we even want to bother?
For Reference - Inbound count: "Since January 1, 2012 this article has brought 132 people to the wiki from non-search engine links."
That comes out to about 2 people a month on average.
