Wanting to clean up poor examples is admirable, but please take the examples that you believe are questionable to the "Is This An Example?" thread in Long-Term Projects. TRS is for fixing tropes that are broken.

I'm not sure if every work needs to mention it just to say "John Doe was absent from this episode". Some, like Game of Thrones say why, but others don't. I was going to cut it from pages but didn't want an Edit War so have brought it here.
