I am unsure because it appears that non-YMMV tropes can never be put onto the YMMV page and YMMV tropes can never be put onto the main page. In that case, what would a trope that is sometimes objective (and not just In-Universe) and sometimes YMMV be classed as?

If it were non-YMMV then it would have to be on the main page, even when subjective, which doesn't seem to work. If it were YMMV then it would have to be in the YMMV tab, even when objective, which doesn't seem to be the purpose of YMMV. Is there a different classificationn for these? Should there be a different classification for these?

The example I had in mind was Brutal Bonus Level. It is either completely subjective (difficulty is subjective) or smetimes objective, sometimes subjective (for example, the page image is not an objective example, as I found it much easier than the rest of the game) but is listed as an objective trope. Where would subjective examples go?

Brutal Bonus Level is not classified as subjective, so it always goes in the main article. If the trope is accumulating too many dubious or contested examples, then a Trope Repair Shop topic could be created to determine if it should be moved to YMMV. Speaking from experience, video game difficulty tropes always have subjective elements, since what's hard to one player may not be hard to others. In these cases, one goes with the preponderance of opinion.

(Confused)But some YMM Vs, as The Scrappy, have preponderance of opinion as one of their requisites.

Which is why I suggested TRS if there is substantial evidence that these difficulty tropes are based on opinion rather than objective standards.

I recall a mid-size TRS thread about Nintendo Hard that contended that the definition was too opinion-dependent to be a trope. A crowner voted in favour of keeping it objective but apparently nobody could come up with a non-opinion-dependent definition. Which probably says something about whether these concepts are objective at all.
