I don't see why it has to be In-Universe only. There are plenty of games and sports with confusing rules that would fit on this page.
Of course, there's no reason why we can't also allow in-universe examples too.
The discussion is what matters, if some show somewhere discussed it then it would be an example.
Any old 'this rule confuses me, by This Troper' isn't an example.

I think I got all the options. Have at it.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.So far, only a few sports have In-Universe examples of their confusing rules, so making it In-Universe only would mean practically starting the page over from scratch. We'd have two cricket examples and one fencing example, barely enough to qualify for a page.
I think it should be noted that the way IUEO works does indeed make it mutually exclusive from the YMMV option, even though the crowner says otherwise.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Duly noted in the crowner option. Thank you for mentioning that.
Corrected the crowner option. Thank you.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
I think it's gotta be in universe. A rule that seems simple but can be bent and or debated about endlessly with the spirit or meaning of it by characters in the work.
IE Prime Directive or pretty much any line in the US Constitution.
