This seems more like something Applelight would say, but I really like how they added the slight chub to Pinkie.
It reflects her character and bounces off her design quite nicely!
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!Since it hasn't been posted in this thread, the people who made the teaser messed up the art assets, which is why the colors look off.

I actually didn't even notice anything wrong with the colors and looking at it again I don't really mind the teaser. People are always going to find something to complain about I guess.
Yeah, I didn't notice there was a problem either.

My angry rant blog! And then ten minutes in we find out it is, in fact, just the fifth Equestria Girls.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Fans cry, "What about the sea ponies? I was promised sea ponies!" but it turns out the sea ponies are just this little background aquarium on Sunset's desk in some shots.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I know that politics is never a good thing to bring up but I can't help but feel like the media's going to flare up the "are bronies pedophiles?" argument again.
Seriously, this is the first theatrical release of a highly popular (even with Periphery Demographic in play) series...and there's gonna be a ton of fairly grown men seeing it that don't have the excuse of "I'm taking my little sister/brother/cousin to see it". This is gonna be weird XD
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Torn between the hype that this series generates and the utter disbelief that a show about talking, magical ponies could garner so much attention.
I suppose I might have said the same thing about the Spongebob movie if I'd been older when it came out.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!you know, there was another, more recent Spongebob movie you could have done that to.
Yeah.
Apparently that movie was actually good, though.

Shit, you're right. Years ago, I was making jokes about how incredibly awkward it would be for MLP to ever get a theatrical release, because of the alarmed parents with their daughters having to share a theater with so many creepy men. Really, really tasteless jokes because I used to be really mean to bronies.
Now I'm here. Just in time for a movie. Karma's a bitch.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Indeed.
I mean, the theater I plan on seeing it in has an automated ticket booth so I wouldn't have to face the ticket seller...but I'd still be in the theater.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.To hell with that. I'll be at the theater with my pony t-shirt carrying my Twilight Sparkle plush and chatting with kids about who is best pony.

To me, I say fuck Whatever they think. Roll the dice!
"We be we baby!"I dunno, don't a lot of adults watch other kids' movies, like Disney films? I don't know that it would seem that unusual for a bunch of grown men to watch this movie.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Probably because the media likes to play up how "unusual" it is for grown men to go to like MLP and not have kids of their own and demonize them by highlighting how Bronies draw rule 34 and stuff. Hippocracy, I say.
"We be we baby!"Basically that.
Plenty of adults might go see, say, a new Sponge Bob movie, but there isn't a stigma attached to it. Parents wanting to bring their little girls to it haven't been reading articles for years about the creepy men who fetishize their daughter's favorite toy.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Well that and Disney is a cultural cornerstone. People would probably find it slightly stranger if you were an adult who hadn't seen Moana yet then if you went without kids.
As for this movie, I haven't seen the series for about two years now, so if nothing else I'm curious as to what the plot would. My current guess is that it will probably end up seeming like an 80-90 minute episode of the series, for better or worse.

Yeah. Normally the two-parter episodes are pretty good, and Megan Mc Carthy helped write it so hopefully the story will be solid.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Grown men going to see children's animated movies is not a new thing at all. But those usually happen to animated films aimed at ALL ages, whereas this one appears to only be catering toward little girls.
Space Ponies and..Sea ponies
Also Discord will totally appear in the credits wondering why he's being left out
New theme music also a box
So a bit of poking around in the MLP thread and I recall reading how the movie should have its own thread.
This is that.
This extremely brief trailer gives us an idea of what the characters will be looking like:
It's been forever since I've seen MLP: FiM, but I do support anyone looking forward to this movie.
Although...I do personally hope we get a gag similar to 1:00-1:08 from this:
